Homily given on the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Clarendon, VA on Sunday, September 15, 2019 (10:30 am Mass).

Mass Readings were as follows:

• Exodus 32:7-11, 13-14
• Psalm 51 -- "I will rise and go to my father."
• 1 Timothy 1:12-17 -- "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am the foremost."
• Luke 15:1-322 -- Parable of the Prodigal Son (and lost sheep and lost coin)
