How does power change the way we communicate with one another? What types of privilege create power disparities? How can we be activists without having access to civil education? How is being civically educated a privilege? 

In this episode, we speak about how privilege and access in the forms of education and urban space can create power in dialogues. We also discuss how this power is represented by gatekeeping. We specifically discuss rural versus urban spaces and how urban space correlates to activist culture which is often more absent in rural areas. With a focus on civic education, this episode explains how differences in privilege heighten polarization.
