IN THIS PODCAST:
It is our inherent nature that we are judgmental of others while we generally overlook our own shortcomings. We are quick to condemn others for their actions.
In this gospel passage Jesus encourages us to profess the virtue of being merciful and less judgemental and instead to be supportive of our neighbour to overcome their shortcomings. Our actions seem hypocritical when we try to remove the speck from our neighbors eye while we have a log in ours.
