Heresy is a belief or opinion contrary to orthodox religious (especially Christian) doctrine. Or also seen as opinion profoundly at odds with what is generally accepted. So what do we do as Christians when something is not of God? Jesus and the Apostles tells us exactly what we are to do and say. Anything contrary to the Word of God is then heresy and even blasphemy.
