She is a scholar-practitioner of African and Diasporic Religions, a spiritual success coach, writer, strategist, motivational speaker, and the founding director of the African and Diasporic Religious Studies Association (ADRSA).

She is a Lukumi Priest (popularlyknown as Yoruba tradition) & Espiritista/Spiritualist who began seeing spirits as a child. Trained by elder Iyalorishas and Babalorishas with over 30 years of experience in Lukumi, Voodoo, and Palo traditions she became an initiated priest of Obatala ati Oshun over a decade ago.

She has been an ordained Yoruba/Lukumi Priestess of Obatala for 17 years. She is trained in traditional African rituals and ceremonies, an experienced spiritual diviner, a Reiki Master teacher and spiritual life coach.
