Guest #1 Adekunle is an internationally renowned woodcarver, Babalawo, and priest of Ogun from Osogbo Nigeria
He descends from a long line of respected Yoruba woodcarvers from the Osogbo area of Ogun State, Nigeria.
He will speak on his personal journey as an artist and traditional spiritualist, and share how Ogun informs his creativity and drive.
Guest #2 Oyesina is a respected priest of Ogun, a dynamic teacher of traditional Yoruba culture, and anti-racism activist. He's a proud initiate of Egbe Akinkanju (men's society) and Egbe Ogun (society of Ogun priests) of Oyotunji African Village in Sheldon, South Carolina, U.S.A.
Raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, he currently resides in Greensboro, North Carolina where he owns an Internet Technology company, and is creating a local male rites-of-passage program based on his Egbe Akinkanju experience.
Oyesina will discuss how Ogun informs his work in justice, cultural restoration, and technology.
