The season three finale culminates with a conversation of hope and encouragement. I often ask myself what has become of the African American culture. Western society has diminished African American men to tropes of negativity. Although, those negative tropes do not apply to the men in my inner circle. I am still concerned about the future of African American culture. As previously discussed in the "does anyone (CARE)" chapter I am recognizing an increase in completing suicide among black men. This unfortunate reality has led me to use this platform to have a conversation about encouragement and hope. It is amazing what two words can do for someone. This chapter is dedicated to those who may have moments of despair and insecurity. If you do not have the resources of hope available please feel free to email me for additional resources. It is my intent that this chapter reverberates through this planet to shift the negativity associated with African American culture. My saying, "be encouraged" is more than a tagline it is a statement of support.
