On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in Slovakia where they are making a State Visit.

They first attended an event marking International Women’s Day with young Slovaks to discuss gender equality and empowering women.

Embed from Getty ImagesIn the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the LGBTIQ+ bar Tepláreň, where two people were shot dead in October 2022 because of their sexual orientation. They had the opportunity to meet with the relatives of the victims and a survivor of the attack.

Embed from Getty ImagesIn the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a return reception for President Čaputová and her partner at the Slovak National Theatre.

In the evening, Queen Maxima wore her Claes Iversen dress with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and her Bottega Veneta clutch.
