They all go to, whether it is Sacramento here in California, or Washington, D.C., they will go with the idea, the intent, that they are helping, yet the majority of them have never ever ran a business. They have never made a payroll; they have never signed the front of a payroll check. They have never had to deal with cashflow. And so, as a result they pass legislation without really digging into or studying the consequences of how it impacts small business.

  • So, I would say their intent was good, however, quite often the outcome is not what they expect. It does not necessarily help small business move forward and achieve its goals.
