Twenty years ago, I cracked the mic in mornings with a man who has been a friend, a spiritual advisor, been a part of that radio root system which has kept me grounded throughout my career. When he gave me that chance, neither of us knew it would be one of the saddest days in American history and one of the most bitter sweet days in both my professional and personal life. My first break in my new career heard me call the second plane hitting the WTC and beginning a career that has lasted 20 years so far. Add that to it also being the birthday of an amazing young lady, who like my carrier turns twenty today!

While we mention it on todays show, I have a look back at the last twenty years in radio coming up next week, today is not the day for it. Today is for remembering the special lives of those who's lives began and ended on September 11, 2021!

My thoughts and prayers to those who fell on and because of that day, to the families they left behind and carry not only that loss but the legacy they left behind and a Happy Birthday Shiann! This is a special edition of the BTEAM Podcast
