James, Cole and Kevin discuss the Eagles victory over the Colts, and the Bulldogs impressive win over the Lions to set up a Division 2 Championship match between Eagles and Bulldogs.
The guys also talk about the Wildcats come-from-behind victory over the Raiders and the how the Cowboys were just too much for the Stampeders despite a wonderful defensive effort. The Wildcats take on the Cowboys for the Division 1 Calgary City Championship.
The finals go Saturday, November 4th, and the guys make their best efforts to predict the final scores.

Grant Stefanowski joins James, Cole, and Kevin to talk more Selects and the first 6 playoff games from the October 21 and 23 games.
Cold and snow dominated the landscape for the Div 3 Semi-Finals. James and Kevin review the Hilltoppers/Chiefs and Rebels/Mavericks games.
Cole and Grant recap the Saturday games, including the Lions/Wildcats, Bulldogs/Raiders, and Eagles/Cowboys. The only game the panel didn't see was the Stampeders victory over the Colts, but the guys discuss how injuries have depleted the Colts roster.

This week we are joined by Grant Stefanowski, who makes his first appearance of the season. Grant talks about the improvements he's noticed in the Mavericks compared to last season, the level of effort he's seen in the Rebels, and what it takes to make the Selects.
The guys look ahead to the final games of the regular season, which feature several matchups with playoff implications including the Colts (6-1) on the road in Airdrie taking on the Raiders (5-1-1).

October 7 is Gordie's 5th Annual Food Fight in support of the Veteran's Food Bank in Calgary. The top 2 teams to bring in the most food by weight will win a pizza party!
October 14 is the City of Airdrie Homecoming Festival. The Colts will travel to take on the Raiders, which will be one of 7 football games on 2 fields. Besides football, there will also be bands playing and food trucks a-plenty!

We're back for our third season of the CBFA Podcast!

We're gearing up for the 2023 Calgary Bantam Football Association season! Bantam camps have now begun as we roll into August.

Cole Fortner joins James to talk about the Calgary Wildcats victory over the Spruce Grove Cougars in a thrilling 21-13 game, a fitting end to the Bantam season at Shouldice Park.
The guys discuss the Tier 1 Semis scores (including several for the same games!), and look ahead to the Tier 1 Provincial Final this Saturday at 3pm in Lethbridge. The forecast for the game is nice weather, all signs are pointing to a road trip for the hosts this weekend!

Cole and James discuss the three finals games from the past weekend at Shouldice Park and give a shoutout to the Stampeders for winning not only the Division 3 Championship but also the 3rd Annual Gordies Food Fight for bringing in the most donations for the Veterans Food Bank in Calgary.
The cold, snowy and windy weather played havoc with passing and special teams plays, but the Wildcats and Cowboys prevailed and extend their seasons into the Provincial playoffs. The Wildcats will play Saturday, November 12 at Shouldice Park while the Cowboys will go on the road to play in Raymond, AB.

Grant Stefanowski joins James this week to recap the Division 3 semi-finals and the Division 1/2 quarter-finals from the past weekend at Shouldice Park. For the first time the CBFA played games inside the dome at Encana Field while Saturday's outdoor games were postponed to Monday due to snow.
All the games were played, setting up Semi-final Saturday on October 29! There are still some 50/50 tickets available, so make sure you bring a few bucks in cash to get in on that, and support the Selects in the process.

Join hosts Grant Pollock and Cole Fortner as they discuss week 1 of the 2021 Calgary Bantam Football Association season.
The satellite teams had a good showing, but unfortunately the Rebels had to forfeit due to lack of players. There's hope they will field a team in week 2.
Cole was able to comment on most of the games played, Grant was envious as he had to miss the action. Grant and Cole will both miss week 2, so next week's podcast might be mostly James talking unless we can get an interview lined up. You've been warned!
