For this month, the Brother Cousins will revisit the speakers and topics from the 2022 Churches of Christ Area Wide Meeting. This year the theme was "Relationships: By This All Shall Know." The theme is taken from John 13:34-35 NKJV: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

Today our guest is brother Rusty Springer, whose topic was "The Assembly: Let All Be Done for Edification." You may remember Rusty from his appearance in Episode 037: Engaging Children in Ministry. Rusty was instrumental in the Theme and Topic selection for the AMW, and we wanted to know more about The Tulsa Church of Christ's thoughts and rationale for the theme. Rusty dug deeper into the need for love and fellowship in the body of Christ, and it was a great discussion.
