What things in your life do you think must be worth something before God? What might it mean for you to realise that “the flesh counts for nothing.”

A Prayer

Lord, I can’t know you by myself, I can earn eternal life by myself, I can’t satisfy all my deepest longings, I can’t even come to you unless you call me. Where else can I go, you alone have the words of eternal life. Please help to me accept this. Please help me to believe and to know that Jesus is the Holy One of God. Amen.
