Emma is the founder of the Smile App which supports the mental health of families dealing with life threatening and long term health conditions.

Emma became passionate about this area through her own family's experiences with multiple health conditions and her work within the food allergy community. Her bestselling book 'Living With Allergies; Practical Tips For All the Family' was published in March 2019 and her children's book 'You, Me & Food Allergies' was published in 2020. Both are clinically reviewed and endorsed by Allergy UK.

She has appeared on This Morning, BBC News 24, LBC and BBC radio as well as regularly speaking at The Allergy & Free From Show and being a judge on The Free From Food Awards and Allergy UK Hero Awards. As a national features journalist, Emma has written for numerous publications including The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun and The Metro.
