Has life ever felt unfair? Even as followers of Jesus it can feel like God has abandoned us or chosen to overlook us. So often the people who do what is right seemingly get no reward, while those who do what is wrong are never punished. The Israelites in the book of Malachi find themselves in this exact situation, but God has good news for them. He tells them of a day that is coming when he will purify and cleanse their hearts and minds while ridding the earth of all evil, sin, and brokenness. For followers of Jesus this is our hope. God has a future in mind to dwell with His people forever. Every tear will be wiped away and everything evil removed forever.
