What does God's word prescribe about giving and tithing? How much do we give? What are the rules or laws for giving? Are we required to tithe?
Biblical "context" is always important. In Part 1 of this teaching, Kim provides the appropriate context and offers a scriptural perspective and provide the context of tithing between Old and New Testaments. However, the decision to tithe or not to tithe is an individual one. The decision to tithe is one for you to make.
The key takeaway from this episode: Jesus flipped the script; He changed the order and made it clear -- what's on the "inside" matters more than you do externally.

Episode #311 completes the series on Worship is Sacrifice.
As the Lord leads us into deeper waters, Kim shows the Old Testament order and precedence of worship as we move from manmade temples to the temples made by God (believers). All are encouraged to listen to Parts 1 & 2 in this series to understand how Jesus, through his blood, sanctioned a new covenant and a new order and way of worshipping God. (John 4:23-24; Romans 11:34-36)
In this episode, Kim shows us in scripture that the new way of worship DOES NOT specify that we ought to go the Temple (Church) in order to worship in the new order and way. The clash of the old and new covenants is unpacked.
Get ready because some "sacred cows" associated with attending Church (aka. modern manmade temples) will be discussed for consideration.

Episode #310 is a continuation from last week's teaching.Kim begins with a recap and highlights the considerations for worship and the new order and way of worship through the blood of Jesus. Now is a good time to listen to episode #309 if you haven't done so yet.
Last week Kim answered the question: If Jesus worshipped God by sacrificing his life and we have become the beneficiaries, then who should be the beneficiaries of our sacrifice and who is recording it as worship?
In tonight's episode on Worship, consider the following question: If Jesus worshipped God by sacrificing HIS life so that we can be reconciled to God, then who are we sacrificing our lives for, so that they can be reconciled to God, and will this be recorded as worship in heaven?
Kim dives deeper into the new order of worship and sacrifice (as an integral component of worship) before dropping some truth bombs about sacrifices happening in today's fallen world. Recall that Satan is the god of this counterfeit world. Those that have achieved worldly success (fame, big money), there is a price that is paid to the god (Satan) of this world. Even Hollywood celebrities, social media influencers, musical artists, etc. have openly admitted that they sold their souls to Satan in exchange for the riches of this world.
What does this have to do with sacrifice? Remember that in both the Old & New Testament, sacrifices had to be innocent, unblemished, and untainted. This included animals (OT) and Jesus (NT). In today's world, who would qualify as innocent, untainted and unblemished sacrifices? CHILDREN!
The systems of this world are designed to promote and support Satan's counterfeit world, and this includes Child trafficking, Abortion, Child Protection Agencies, Educational System (Grooming/ Indoctrination), Pornography, etc. All systems conspire and work together to worship Satan and draw us away from God. Child sacrifice, that is, the blood of innocent children continues to be placed on the altars of Baal and Molech even today. But keep in mind, God has placed some people (witnesses) in every worldly system to rescue or draw people from these systems.
Another consideration of worship: When we give and expect something in return, it no longer qualifies sacrifice. It's actually an investment with an expected return. However, the currency of the Kingdom is sacrifice.
Kim breaks down Matthew's account of the Rich Young Ruler as a good example about sacrifice, and she also underscores an important point for all believers. IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE SAVED FROM THE JUDGMENT OF SIN AND ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO THE LIFE.
Sadly, many in the Church today are in "possession" of eternal life through Jesus Christ yet have NOT "entered" the life of Christ. God desires us to "enter" the life of Christ. Consider Jesus's words to the Pharisees in Matthew 23:13: “For you do not go in yourselves, and when others are going in, you stop them”.
As Christians, are you doing all the things that are worthy of worship - attending church, bible study, small group, tithing/ offerings, volunteering, corporate prayer - but like the rich young ruler, you know that there is something more?

If Jesus worshipped God by sacrificing HIS life, and we were the beneficiaries, then… Who should be the beneficiary of our sacrifice, and who is recording it as worship in heaven?
Brace yourselves and put on your crash helmets as episode #309 has a very profound and real message.
Tonight's teaching begins by outlining Six (6) Considerations of Worship to lay the proper foundation.
- Worship IS sacrifice! Without sacrifice, it's NOT Worship.
- Worship is a statement that becomes a record of our spiritual devotion.
- Worship is all encompassing (mental, emotional, physical)
- Worship always has a beneficiary.
- Worship hurts - giving up something of value for something of greater value.
- Worship can result in loss of life.
In the Old Testament, animal sacrifice to God was a temporary covering of sins. God was the beneficiary b/c it allowed HIM to restore and maintain HIS relationship with HIS people. However, in the New Testament Jesus's blood did not cover sin… it removed and destroyed sin altogether. Now God can fellowship with man by reconciling humanity to HIM through Christ. If Jesus is our sacrifice, then there is NO need for the focus and beneficiary of our sacrifice to be God. So, if your sacrifice is NOT for your benefit nor is it for God's benefit, then who is the beneficiary of your sacrifice???
Jesus came to present us with a new order of worship and sacrifice! The focus of our worship should be other people -- fellow believers first, then unbelievers -- to the benefit our brothers and sisters in Christ. When Jesus changed the order of worship, there was no more temple support for the religious leaders; they were out of business. Jesus set us free from the religious system of worship! As believers, are we not the temple of the Holy Spirit?

Part 3: In this counterfeit world, there is a counterfeit Christ who is being promoted and worshipped as Jesus Christ. Sadly, many people in the Church have been misled and are confused; they cannot distinguish between Jesus and the counterfeit Christ. Satan uses words to accomplish this, and he plays with the word "Jesus". Jesus warned us of this, so that we would not be deceived.
It's time for those of us "doing the will of God" to be fruit inspectors.

After a brief recap of Part 1 - episode #305, Kim distinguishes HIS People from his people. In this fallen world under Satan's temporary control, there are three (3) kinds of people in the Church today:

"The followers" - those people who are doing God's will

"The deceived" - those people who think they are doing God's will
-
"The pretenders" - those people who knowingly pretend to be doing God's will.
God is rescuing HIS PEOPLE (#1-2) from his people (#3 pretenders) -- the apostate church. For HIS PEOPLE, the more surrendered you are to God and to the Truth, the easier it is to discern what is false and who the pretenders are. The opposite is true as well.

In this episode, Kim sets the biblical context for how God rescues HISPEOPLEfrom hispeople. This "fallen world" that we were born into is full of deceit, lies, and corruption at a level that we cannot comprehend. Many cannot see it because we are blinded by the god of this world, our need to survive, and our own righteousness. Simply stated, we are living in a world without God.
The Context: Satan is the father of lies, and he is the architect of this world to fulfill his agenda and satisfy his sole objective: to replace God, to be our God, and to have us worship him. To accomplish this, Satan will have to impersonate God, and he does. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Satan, too, can perform signs and lying wonders and can also create wealth. Be mindful that not all healings or material blessings come from God.
So, what does this have to do with God rescuing HIS people from his people? Everything! Religious systems are not immune to the lies and deception that Satan has perpetrated in this fallen world. Tune in next week as Kim makes the connection to the apostate church and how God is rescuing HIS PEOPLE in this present day.

As we strive to enter the straight gate, do you realize the importance of resting? Resting is actually a weapon of spiritual warfare; spiritual warfare is more than praying and fasting or decreeing and declaring God's word. When we offer ourselves to God, that is our soul, spirit, and body, we are weapons for His righteousness.
If you are using your mental, emotional, or physical skills, abilities and resources to survive emotionally, you are fundamental at odds with Jesus's word in Matthew 16:25: "For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it."
What are your emotional survival responses? Can you train your mind on God and rest in Him? Is God your landing pad?

What does the revelation of Jesus Christ have to do with our ability to express love? More importantly, if we truly see and know Jesus, why is there so little change in our lives?

Ezekiel was prophet who spoke to the restoration of Israel. He announced a new life and a new order. In 11:19 and 26:36, he said that God would take out the stony heart and place with us a heart of flesh. Then he shared this vision (Chapter 47) that involved water coming up through the threshold of the temple. In His vision the water came up over the feet and ankles, up and over the knees, up and over the waist and finally the water was over his head such that he would have had to swim across. I suggested that according to I Cor. 3:16, we are God’s temple, and he dwells in the midst of us.
I also shared with you John 4:14 and 7:38.
John 4:14 – “But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well (or spring) of water springing up in him for eternal life.”
John 7:38 (AMPC) – “He who believes in Me [who cleaves to, and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

Have you ever prepared for an important conversation? It was going to be a difficult conversation so you prayed, planned--even write out what you were going to say. And then you get in the moment and you can't remember any of it. You struggle to communicate clearly. And then there's the other person who is quick on his or her feet, and can be intimidating by displaying anger or posturing. God creates each husband and wife to be a unique, unrepeatable miracle. Each one is independent, free-willing with purpose and destiny built in. Marriage doesn’t change this. Each one’s significance is found in the destiny for which he or she is created. And though they may share a purpose and destiny, each one’s expression is different and unique.
When husbands and wives place significance in anything other than their God-given purpose and destiny they will experience conflict.
Mat. 4:5-7 and Lu. 4:9:12 is the account of the devil’s attempt to get Jesus to place significance in something other than his purpose and destiny.
