Moving to a new country (or to a new state) is one of life's biggest stressors. In addition to all the new adjustments of relocating, I've often been guilty of setting unreasonable expectations for myself about what habits I'll bring with me to a new place, and what habits I'll leave behind forever.
The truth is that when I move, I'm just me in a new place.
