I am delighted to be part of Radio Caroline, especially Caroline Flashback. I have travelled around the dial on AM & FM for more years than I can remember – commercial radio: Amber Gold, Mellow 1557 & Forces Radio Garrison FM/BFBS. A Colchester boy born and bred, I am married to Julie with two young ones Aaron and Josh who, for some reason, are now taller than me! Apart from broadcasting, my hobbies are playing indoor bowls and since 2013, I have been a licensed ham radio operator.
After 28 years of club & mobile disco, I am now very much involved in supplying PA (public address) equipment to Colchester and surrounding areas.
The decades, 50's through to the early 80's are definitely special for music. I do hope you will enjoy reminiscing through these great decades with me.
