We also address the fact that Antifa and other far-left extremists are able to commit acts of terrorism in virtually all Western nations with little to no repercussions and are even rewarded for their criminal behavior as demonstrated in the recent $9.25 million settlement the city of Philadelphia agreed to in a case involving 343 leftist protesters. It’s almost as if the radical left and their allies are being protected and facilitated by certain elements in law enforcement, the media, and the political establishment to advance a political agenda and target patriotic American dissidents.
We conclude by highlighting James’ contribution to a recently published book titled The Honorable Cause: The Free South, a book dedicated to reclaiming the narrative of Southern nationalism and independence.

Respected conservative journalist John Solomon dropped a bombshell on his personal website on March 11, and no one in the mainstream media has mentioned it at all. According to newly released FBI documents, Solomon argues that James Comey’s FBI had already cleared Donald Trump and his staff of charges that they colluded with Russia to steal the election from Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton before he even sat down in the Oval Office in January 2017.
Solomon writes: “That means a nascent presidency and an entire nation were put through two more years of lacerating debate over an issue that was mostly resolved in January 2017 inside the bureau’s own evidence files. The proof is now sitting in plain view.”
Some of these FBI documents were released as a result of the ongoing trial of retired Gen. Michael Flynn.
Flynn’s attorney recently filed a motion that cited a “an internal DOJ document dated Jan. 30, 2017, in which the FBI exonerated Mr. Flynn of being ‘an agent of Russia,’” according to the court document. Special prosecutor Robert Mueller still sought to charge Flynn with multiple charges related to the investigation, even going so far as to threaten to put him and his son in solitary confinement if they did not cooperate with his probe.
Flynn’s lawyers are fighting his conviction, but it is unlikely he will be able to beat it as the charges relate to lying to FBI agents—the same agents who interviewed Flynn without stating that he was suspected of colluding with Russia.
Here is what Solomon made of this revelation: “For the American public, such a revelation is momentous. Less than two weeks into Trump’s presidency the FBI had concluded his national security adviser had not been working as an agent of Russia. While that was the view of federal law enforcement, the false storyline of Flynn as a Russian stooge was broadcasted across the nation, with leaks of his conversations with a Russian ambassador and other tales, for many more months.”

Signs of the collapse of our nation are all around us, from the crumbling infrastructure, to the drug-infested ghettoes in once-magnificent cities, to ever-expanding homeless camps taking over parks and sidewalks. Now, another sign of America’s breakdown is apparent: European diseases not seen since the 14th century are appearing on our shores.
An opinion piece in The Hill by Dr. Mark Siegel, “Is a Dark Ages disease the new American plague threat?” details the brewing disaster. Although “typhus, a disease carried by fleas that feed on rats, which in turn feed on the garbage and sewage” is already present in homeless encampments across the country, Siegel believes “that homeless areas are at risk for the re-emergence of another deadly ancient disease—leprosy.” Leprosy is a long-term bacterial infection that can lead to damage to eyes, nerves, respiratory tract, and skin.
Although over two-thirds of the more than 200,000 new cases of leprosy reported in the world each year are in India, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that between 100 and 200 new cases of leprosy are reported annually in the U.S. Siegel cites a just-released study that found that 187 leprosy patients treated at the same clinic from 1973 to 2018 were mostly Mexicans. The disease is also known to Central and South Americans, popping up more than 20,000 times a year. Siegel writes, “There is certainly the possibility of sporadic cases of leprosy continuing to be brought across our southern border undetected.”
Siegel goes on to say that “it seems only a matter of time before leprosy could take hold among the homeless population in an area such as Los Angeles County, with close to 60,000 homeless people and 75% of those lacking even temporary shelter or adequate hygiene and medical treatment. All of those factors make a perfect cauldron for a contagious disease that is transmitted by nasal droplets and respiratory secretions with close repeated contact.”
To look into this matter further, American Free Press conducted an exclusive interview with Tucson, Ariz.-based Dr. Jane Orient, the executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, founded in 1943 to fight for private medicine. Dr. Orient, an internist in practice since 1974, was coincidentally in Los Angeles at the time of this interview on Sept. 17.
AFP asked if we should be worried about Siegel’s article.
“I think that we should,” she began, “although I think maybe leprosy, or Hansen’s disease, is one of the lesser worries. I think tuberculosis [TB] is a much greater worry, because leprosy is reputedly not all that contagious and there is an antibiotic treatment for it.”
TB, another bacterial infection spread through the air by coughing, sneezing, speaking, and spitting, typically affects the lungs, and if left untreated will kill around 50% of those affected. So, it’s not just the “zero sanitation” homeless camps Dr. Orient is worried about.
“We’re allowing into this country now thousands, maybe millions, of people who have not been screened,” she explained, “who are going to locations that are unknown. Of the ones that we know about, maybe 20% of them in some places have latent TB; they are not contagious right now, but this could break down at any time when their resistance is lowered, and they could be coughing up TB germs on the bus, in the school, in the church, wherever they are. What we really need is a way of following these people and doing periodic checks.”

At the AFP Store. “Everybody should be worried about this,” she explained, “because these people are being sent across the United States.”
Dr. Orient feels this issue has been politicized. “I have heard that some people who work in these border areas are even being forbidden to talk about the diseases that they’re seeing, under pain of losing their job. … There is a lot of fear about being accused of being politically incorrect,” she said. “Even a physician who talks about this can be criticized, or ignored, or subject to worse things.”
“Actually, public health affects everybody—everybody,” she warned, “and we’re not doing anybody a favor by closing our eyes to devastating diseases that could break out in a community, that we really do not have the public health resources or the medical resources or the knowledge or even the ability to treat at any level.”

AFP had the great fortune recently to sit down again with former Maricopa County, Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio in which “Sheriff Joe” filled us in on what has happened since we last interviewed him in May.

Dave Gahary talks with Sheriff Joe Arpaio. AFP: Thanks, Sheriff, for taking the time to sit down with us, especially after some pretty nasty leftist organizations have smeared you for being courageous enough to talk candidly with us in the past. We understand you are running for your old job in Maricopa County. How is that going?
Arpaio: I think you did a great article last time we talked. One day, I saw a sign up that said “Joe, one more time,” a digital billboard, and it started some interest in my quest to become sheriff of Maricopa County again. And then, people on Facebook and Twitter, via cards and letters, hundreds of thousands of people in the last two months, basically said, “We would like you to run again,” and that sort of swayed me.
Not only that, I travel around the country and, wherever I go, people recognize me, and they come up, say, “We’re sorry you’re gone.” So, regardless of all the critics, especially the fake news media, I think, after running seven times for office, I recognize a gut feeling when I have one—and a silent majority. So I talked to my wife, and she agreed, and we decided on Aug. 25 to kill three birds with one stone: That’s my wife’s birthday; that’s when the president pardoned me; and that’s when I announced that I was going to run for sheriff again.
AFP: Has the media covered this?
Arpaio: Yes, except Fox, of course. They haven’t had me on for a year. That’s very interesting, since I’ve known them for 24 years. I’ve had local media call me. I did not do a press conference. I simply told everybody that I would meet them one-on-one, just like I’m talking to you, and so I feel good about it.
AFP: It looks like Arizona needs you.
Arpaio: Right. We’re being flooded with drugs coming across the border, and I like to think that when we used to grab all these guys, I was doing a favor for the whole country, because most of [these drug smugglers] were trying to come through Maricopa County into other areas. These are the drugs that are killing our young people.
AFP: What about all the smears?
Arpaio: I see a lot of big media people calling me a convicted felon. I’m not a convicted felon, so I’m fighting back. I’m suing Andrew Cuomo, CNN, Rolling Stone, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, and a few others.
I don’t like suing the media. I’ve worked closely with the media my whole career. But you have to take a stand. This is getting ridiculous. They are trying to destroy me, and that I don’t like. These [mainstream] newspapers and TV stations seem to copy what others say. They ought to do some research.
I’m not taking any prisoners in this race. Whatever it takes, I’m gonna win this election. From what I see, the current sheriff is doing nothing. I want to make Maricopa County safe again. I am proud of the fact that I got 560,000 votes in the last election, even though they had the mayor of Los Angeles importing people to march down the streets carrying signs against me. We have a sanctuary county now.
AFP: You have had a lot of experience. What are they saying about that?
Arpaio: They throw my age out there. It’s not “Joe Arpaio.” It’s “Joe Arpaio, 87.” Every time they mention my name they throw the age in. I’m not worried about my age. I’ve been working 14 hours a day since I retired. So, they wanna hit me on the age issue? Let ’em hit it. I’m gonna continue my illegal immigration fight, within the parameters of the [U.S.] Constitution, and I’m going to keep fighting the drug traffic. I am officially out of retirement.
AFP: Politics is such a dirty game. Are you sure you want back in?
Arpaio: There’s no such thing anymore in politics as loyalty. All they worry about is getting elected, and they flip-flop. But I will work with Republicans and Democrats alike. We all should stick together and try to get something done. The Democrats—all they care about today is going after President Trump.
I’m going to Chicago in September. I was invited to speak. I’m going there to speak right smack in the midst of the African-American neighborhoods. I wanna go right smack in the middle of the Hispanic neighborhoods. I’m gonna try to get their support, try to talk to them and tell them my side of the story. I want to help them solve some problems.
Funny thing is, they call me a racist. But I’ve got two grandkids. One is black and one is Mexican. My son is married to a wonderful Latina. And I would not trade those kids for anything in the world.

Listen, I’m going for broke. I’m gonna get to my seventh term and that’ll be 28 years, and get that office back, for the good of the people of this county and this country. We’re gonna turn this thing around that’s been destroyed in the last three years.
AFP: How will you deal with criticisms that AFP is some kind of a hate group?
New at the AFP Online Store. Arpaio: AFP isn’t my public relations arm. I look at you guys as people trying to tell the truth. And you can’t say that for other news media. I just got blasted by the news media when you interviewed me, and they said you guys were critical of Jewish folks and all that. I don’t go around checking articles you guys write. You call me, I talk.
As long as you are being honest. I support freedom of the press. We need more outlets like [AFP], believe me, that would tell it like it is.
But all the media, they seem to be in bed with powerful, politically correct people and they have their agenda. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve been dealing with the media for 55 years, but this has gone too far. So, I want to thank your publication, at least, for speaking out. Whether people agree, whether I agree, it doesn’t matter. The power of the press is impressive. They can sway elections. When there is a mass shooting, the media can talk about it. Most [corporate news] outlets make it political—about gun violence. It’s really sad.
They’ll definitely blast me for talking to [AFP] again, but I have a right to talk to you guys because you guys don’t twist my words.
AFP: Thanks, again, Sheriff, for having the guts to speak with us. We will be keeping a close eye on your race, and we all wish you the best.

Ray Locker was previously a guest on the Midnight Writer News Show in Episode 037 discussing Nixon’s Gamble, his first book, the story of how Richard Nixon set up a new national security establishment that would create the conditions under which the Moorer-Radford spy ring took place.
