The Holy Ghost is the difference maker in the life of the Believer. A funny story about a young man looking for a ghost sparked a fire in a preacher to encourage others to seek the Holy Ghost. Our main goal should be to invite the Lord to intervene on our behalf!
We see a beautiful picture in Luke 10 of the care the Lord offers to us when we're wounded, and what the oil and wine represent.
Psalm 127 shows us the value that God bestows upon children, and how important it is for the family to protect them. The African Jacana bird gives us a wonderful picture of what the Father should do to care and protect their children.

Psalm 121 reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the One who watches over and sustains His people. Much like the ibex, which is known for its remarkable ability to navigate steep and rocky terrain, believers can learn the importance of sure-footed faith and trusting God through life's challenges. When we keep our eyes on the Lord, He provides the strength, stability, and guidance we need for every step of the journey.
Naaman is now faced with a crossroads. Does he obey the man of God who revealed to him the cure for his leprosy? It didn't make sense to him, but obedience proved to be the key to Naaman's victory over his disease.
In part 4 of this series, we focus on the lengths that God has gone through to reach us and care for us. He goes beyond what any other could do for us! How can we not praise Him?
As a father cares for his children, so our Heavenly Father, much the more, cares and sees our needs. He is worthy of our praise!
In the closing part of this series, the psalmist David continues the spirit of worship with a call to praise: God's covenant is sure and is worthy of all praise from all of His creation!
Joseph's life was filled with unexpected turns, taking him from the pit and prison to the palace by the hand of God. What seemed like setbacks were actually part of God's plan to position him for a greater purpose and to provide for his family. No matter what you are facing, God can use your current situation as a setup to bring glory to His name.
Naaman had a great pedigree, but we are reminded by his life that no matter how mighty of a person you are, we all need Jesus. Rich or poor, honorable or not, we all are sinners in need of the Savior!
In continuation of this Psalm 103 series, the focus turns to verse 5 which compares how God renews our strength to that of the eagle's. What a blessed promise to know that the Lord gives power to the weak!
We are promised to welcome the King of Glory in if we have clean hands and a pure heart!
All throughout scripture we see the importance of a song; in times of joy or pain, even in the night season, God gives a song to His children.

Preached at the 2026 Back to the Bible Camp Meeting, Brian Baer reminds the child of God that we've been given the victory over the Devil. Just as the Secretary Bird has been equipped to stomp the serpent, we've been given power to crush the head of Satan!
As Paul walked through Athens, he saw a city filled with idols—gods for everything imaginable. Yet among them stood an altar to "the unknown god," a placeholder so nothing would be overlooked. What they labeled as unknown, Paul boldly revealed as the one true God. The God they did not know was the very One who created them, sustained them, and desired a relationship with them. The unknown God is not distant—He wants to be known.
Having and using the correct tools makes all the difference when working in any task. Brian Baer presents the spiritual side of this timeless truth!
Preached at the 2026 Christian Unity Revival, Calvin Ray Evans emphasizes the similarities between the enemy's attack on the believer, and the attack of a python.
This message is a sequel to "Serpent Killer". The Secretary Bird is a mighty warrior against the serpent, but every victor has their vulnerabilities. The child of God is given power to defeat the enemy, but we also must be aware of our shortcomings and allow Christ to strengthen us.
In Numbers 10, God gives instruction to use silver trumpets as a form of communication for Israel. But for us as believers, there are deeper meanings behind these silver trumpets.
Often times when we've had a good church service, we say: "this has been a great place to be." But what makes church a great place to be? We find the answer in scripture!
In Joshua 6, Scripture tells us that Rahab was saved alive. At first glance, that may seem like a simple statement—but when you consider who Rahab was, it carries much deeper meaning. In spite of her past and everything attached to her name, she was spared. She lived. What a powerful picture of God's mercy. Just like Rahab, we are recipients of that same grace—undeserved, yet freely given.
For the Christian, true victory is found only through Christ. One of our greatest battles is the one within—our own flesh. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus showed us how to surrender and overcome, and through Him, we have that same opportunity to walk in victory.
Job teaches us that when trials of life seem to continue to speak in your life, we need to have a response ready. If the enemy won't stop sending messengers, then we must not stop sending worship up to God!
In John 4, we see the tender care of the Savior, as He extends grace to a woman cast out by society. Thank God for living water, that we may never thirst again!
Our body itself cries out for it's change! We endure so much on Earth, but our soul groans within us, knowing a better day is ahead when we'll experience a physical and spiritual change.
Often times, we need a reminder to stir up our memory of what God has done, and the gifts He's given to men.

In Romans 10, we learn that salvation comes by hearing the Word, and we hear the Word through preaching. We are thankful for God's call to preach the gospel!
In Ephesians 6, the Apostle Paul emphasized the need for Prayer in the Spirit. But what does that mean, and how do I put that in action?
Paul reminds the church at Corinth that the same Rock that gave water to Israel in the wilderness is Jesus Christ, The Rock that the Christian faith is built upon!
If we want to learn and apply the lessons of the Pool of Bethesda, we must ask ourselves some questions: Are you waiting for the Lord no matter how long it takes for your miracle? And, are you willing to be the first to get in when he troubles the water?
Often times we need more than one touch from God in order to receive victory. But whether it's one touch, or multiple touches, we know Christ's power makes the difference!
Our heart's cry should be: "Breathe On Me, Lord!" What we need most today is a desire for the Holy Spirit to fill our lives!
This message was preached from the 2025 Christian Baptist Camp Meeting. In Mark 5, we witness the authority of Jesus over demons, disease, and even death. In every situation, His power is on full display. Yet beyond the miracles, each encounter reveals something deeper: when people met Jesus, they experienced grace.
Preached at the 2025 Smoky Mountain Camp Meeting, Roger "Hoy" Duncan II challenges believers to seek God not only for themselves, but for the generations coming behind them. The enemy works tirelessly to tear down spiritual legacies, so we must be intentional, prayerful, and ready to stand in the gap for our families.
As one year ends and another begins, it's common to sort through our belongings and clear out the clutter we've collected along the way. In the same way, we need to take time to examine our hearts and lives, removing anything that distracts us or takes glory away from the Lord.
The name of Jesus holds more for the believer than words could ever fully express. Throughout his life and ministry, Pastor Evans has carefully gathered the many names and attributes of Christ found in Scripture. In this message, he shares those truths, painting a fuller picture of who Jesus is and reminding us that everything we need is found in Him.
At Winterfest 2026, Pastor Evans shares a powerful message from 1 Kings 17, looking at the life of the prophet Elijah. Through every high and low, God was already ahead of him, making a way and providing exactly what he needed. Elijah's story reminds us that even in our loneliest moments, we are never truly alone. God is present, working, and faithful. No matter the circumstance, there's always Someone else in the room with us, the Lord.
The promise of Heaven is the hope of every Believer. May this sermon be a reminder of what lies ahead of each child of God!
Psalm 24 is often quoted, but have you ever stopped to wonder which "gates" the psalmist was talking about? Join us as we take a closer look at the "ancient gates" and discover the deeper meaning behind this powerful picture.
All throughout the Bible, God invites mankind to come to Him. Isaiah 1:18 gives us one of the earliest invitations to come to Christ, and allow our sins to be made white as snow. What holds you back from receiving Christ today? If the Holy Spirit draws you to Him, don't turn Him away!
At Winterfest 2026, Pastor Evans preaches from Matthew 6:22–23, a familiar passage that includes the often puzzling references to the "single eye" and the "evil eye." Through this teaching, we learn that Jesus is addressing the condition of the heart and the focus of one's life. A "single eye" represents a unified, God-centered purpose, while an "evil eye" reflects a divided and self-focused heart. Pastor Evans challenges us to pursue a unified devotion to the Lord so that our lives may be filled with His light.
We can often learn powerful spiritual lessons from everyday events around us. In American football, when a team has secured the win and time is running out, they line up in the "victory formation" and take a knee, allowing the clock to expire without risking a turnover. For the Christian, the victory has already been secured through our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet how often do we try to take matters into our own hands instead of "taking a knee" and resting in the finished work and victory that He has already won for us? This timely reminder, preached by Brian Baer at Winterfest 2026, tells us to embrace the victory formation and take a knee!
In John 8, we see a rare look at the tenderness that Jesus uses in handling a soul in need. A woman accused stands in undeniable shame and sin, yet the Savior silences her prideful accusers and frees her to begin a new life.
This sermon is included in Pastor Evan's series entitled "Can You See It?". Habbakuk asks for a vision. God fulfills it in His appointed time. We can trust God will bring things to pass in His perfect, appointed time in our lives. Just because we see it doesn't mean it will happen yet.
In Zechariah 13:6, we read a prophesy of Christ receiving wounds in the house of a friend. We know this came to pass when Christ was betrayed by Judas, and crucified by the very people he came to minister to. We all have suffered wounds, but Jesus bore the scars so He could heal us of our wounds.
What does Scripture reveal that causes demons to tremble? Whenever Jesus steps onto the scene, every evil spirit is forced to cry out. His authority exposes darkness, His presence disrupts their plans, and His power reminds them they are already defeated.

Finishing the series, Brian Baer focuses on the enduring truth that believers will ultimately make it to their divine destination, not by human timing but by God's sovereign plan, as illustrated through Paul's journey to Rome.
No matter how fierce the storm, God has promised that we will make it to the other side. His promise is stronger than any wind or wave. How will we make it? By holding fast to what He has given us, knowing that He has already provided a safe passage through.
In Acts 28 we see a beautiful picture in the Island of Melita of what the Believer's destination looks like. Thank God for the promise of Heaven!
The blood of Jesus is mentioned five times in Matthew 27, and each reference reveals a distinct truth and powerful application for the believer. Matthew 27 highlights the depth, purpose, and transforming power of Christ's sacrificial blood in our lives.
No matter how fierce the storm, God has promised that we will make it to the other side. His promise is stronger than any wind or wave. Why will we make it? Because God Himself has said we will—and His word never fails.
Continuing Pastor Evans' Christmas series, this message highlights God's providence in leading Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem through the taxation decree, as well as the challenges they faced along the way. What a marvelous God who works all things together for good according to His perfect plan!

Also known as the wise men, the Magi play a vital role in the story of Christ's birth. Their wisdom was not found in who they were, but in what they did—their faithful pursuit of the Savior.
What can we learn from the message of Christ's arrival? It was a glorious revelation given to the lowliest of people—shepherds who were faithful and watchful. In the same way, though we may feel unworthy of the message, we are called to be devoted messengers of Christ's soon return.
Now arriving at the birthplace of Christ, we discover that His resting place was a stone manger used for feeding animals. Yet within this humble setting lies a profound picture filled with meaning for every Christian.
Though the focus of this message is on Mary, the mother of Jesus, her life before Christ's arrival already reveals the clear evidence of God's presence and work within her.
Without these two words, we would have no hope—Jesus came. Thank God that He entered our world to become the sacrifice for sin and the source of our salvation.
Just as it's important to enter God's house with worship, it's equally important to leave in the same spirit!
We learn a powerful lesson from the enslaved children of Israel in Egypt: in the midst of their fiercest persecution, God's people experienced their greatest growth. You may feel bound by the season you're in, but take heart—God is working, and growth and blessing are on the way!
Aeneas had been paralyzed for eight years, and his very name means praise. Peter understood that if praise could rise again from the bed, then the power of God would begin to move—and things would change for His glory!
The story of Blind Bartimaeus crying out to Jesus is well known among believers. Yet each time we revisit it, we are reminded of a timeless truth — Jesus hears our cry. In this message, we reflect on Bartimaeus's persistent faith and rejoice in the compassion of Christ, who still stops to listen when we call on His name.

In John 4:23–24, Jesus declares that true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. To worship in spirit is to honor God simply because He is God and there is none beside Him. To worship in truth is to come honestly before Him—exposing who we truly are in the light of who He is. This message explores how we can give God our best even when we're at our worst, as illustrated through David's example in 1 Chronicles 21–22.

While 2 Corinthians 6:14 is often quoted in the context of marriage, this study reveals that its meaning reaches far beyond that. The verse draws from the image of a team of oxen yoked together, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared purpose. When the yoke is unequal, the team cannot work effectively. Likewise, believers are warned of the spiritual danger in being bound together with those who do not share the same faith and direction.
When Hagar faced a difficult season in her life, she fled to the way of Shur. Though little is known about this path, we see that even in the desert, God provides refuge. In our own times of trouble, He can turn dry, barren places into moments of divine encounter and grace.
In the Old Testament, a sacrificial lamb was offered to atone for the sins of an individual. This powerful picture is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who was sacrificed on the cross and whose blood was presented on the mercy seat in Heaven. Now, every soul must answer life's most important question: "Will You Choose the Lamb?"

A recurring theme throughout the life of David is that he was often on the run. Scripture gives us several accounts of David running, and in this sermon, those moments are grouped into four key categories. Each one reveals something powerful about our own spiritual journey. Between the camps of the Phillistine and Israelite armies was a valley. This unclaimed area of land would be known in modern day military terms as no man's land.
