Joey De Anda from San Luis Obispo was killed in a skiing accident at China Peak Saturday.

Their house, located at 1902 Chorro St., has an unimaginebale amount of lights and displays, all completely customized and arranged to your favorite Christmas music. Local Ryan Teixeira was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18. Since most wish-fulfillment organizations cut off at 18, it then became his goal to create a foundation for young adults like him who are often forgotten. From the pictures, it's so enormous it really looks like a giant skeleton is on a rampage in the neighborhood. Home Depot is selling it for $300, but they're temporarily sold out. Some people are selling them on eBay for ridiculous prices . . . like in the $1,000 range. Although I have no idea where you'd store it for the other 11 months of the year.

Tik Tok has some legit security concerns. In addition to the US voicing concerns about the security threats the app poses, many other countries are also chatting about banning the app including India, Australia, The EU, Japan, and a few more. The Coast Poll asked should Tik Tok be banned if it does pose a legit threat. Real question is do we also really want to ban the app as our very own Cheeba is slowly getting Tik Tok famous????

It's good to see some of the finest engineering minds using their talents like THIS. An engineer at Tesla, who also has been moonlighting as . . . a chocolate designer. He has been working with a company called Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco to engineer the perfect CHOCOLATE CHIP. Adam also had a listener call in to say that yesterday she did one of the Dandelion virtual chocolate tastings, and she talks about it. Check it out!
Basically, he applied all of his knowledge around industrial design and engineering to chocolate chips . . . and came up with a new shape that makes the chips MELT smoother and TASTE better.
After a lot of experimentation, the chips wound up looking like pyramids and, apparently, they really ARE better than normal chocolate chips.
But if you want them, it's going to cost you. Dandelion made them out of super premium chocolate, so for a bag that's just over one pound, you'll pay $30. That's roughly 10 times the cost of a bag of Nestle Toll House chocolate chips.

Jason from TX recently posted a pic of he and his wife on a date night. They had some service issues at a restaurant, and while they were waiting a while for something of the server, he took a pic and tweeted it. The internet did what the internet does, and ate-him-up. Even worse than the internet haters, was his wife didn't know the pic was being taken, much less being posted. We talked about the story and then talked to Jason himself. Huge lesson learned and a hopefully a couple dozen roses later, we'll see what happens.
Well, I suppose you could look at it that more streets are opening, or more streets are closing, cause it's kinda both the case. Last week, SLO City started a program to close down traffic on Monterey St for a block to leave more room to walk and eat for people and businesses. That street closure this weekend moves also to Higuera, as the typical Farmer's Market traffic closure will be in effect every weekend for at least the next year.
We are sad here to miss the Mid State Fair this year, but its great what they are doing to keep that spirit alive beginning this weekend. How spontaneous are you? 72 percent said they feel happier after they act spontaneously in some way. In fact, of the respondents who did not consider themselves to be spontaneous, one in three said they felt happy after acting spontaneously. Beyond happiness, 59 percent of those polled said that they’ve made a giant spontaneous decision in their past.

Newly installed railing slats along the western side of the Golden Gate Bridge have turned the Bay Area landmark into a one-bridge orchestra.
According to a statement by Paulo Schwartz of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District, the sound is intentional and results from high winds passing through open spaces.
“The new musical tones coming from the bridge are a known and inevitable phenomenon that stem from our wind retrofit during very high winds,”
San Francisco residents took to social media over the weekend, capturing the other-worldly hum on video. Rsidents say the bridge’s “whistle” can be heard “all over the city.”
You know that line about "for richer or poorer" in traditional wedding vows? It's amazing how much the "richer" part makes people start rethinking things.
A survey earlier this year asked 2,000 people: If you won the lottery, would you give your significant other half?
And the answers are not particularly good news for couples. One in six people say they'd quickly END the relationship to keep all the money to themselves.
And of the people who want to stay in their relationship, a quarter say they wouldn't do a 50/50 split.
The survey also found 36% of people say they'd dump their partner if that person won the lottery and didn't want to split it with them.
Even if you brush, floss, and use mouthwash, you still might be cleaning your teeth wrong. Because the order you do them in matters. Most people who do all three brush first, then floss, then use mouthwash. But the right way is the exact opposite of that. Here's the correct order . . . rinse with mouthwash first . . . then floss . . . then brush. If you rinse with mouthwash at the end, it washes away the fluoride from your toothpaste.

California saw unreal beach crowds this weekend, especially here on the central coast. No place was more crowded than Pismo Beach with the 559's and 661's out in full force! Should we expect officials to tighten restrictions to ensure social distancing if we can't or seemingly choose not to? We can't arrest everyone. Do we hand out expensive citations?
