La naturaleza infinita de Dios significa simplemente que Dios existe aparte de, y no está limitado por el tiempo o el espacio. Agradar a Dios es -en una palabra- hacer su voluntad. De ahí que, manejar las Escrituras adecuadamente no es otra cosa que proclamar la voluntad de Dios a su pueblo, suficiente razón para el éxito de un ministro fiel a la Palabra de Dios. (ver 2 Timoteo 4:1-2,5). Pablo, sin lugar a dudas, pasará a los particulares, señalará el pecado con detalles.

Filemón 1.1-21 A veces, una situación difícil puede hacernos desear huir. A menos que mantengamos los ojos fijos en Cristo y nuestra confianza anclada en la Palabra de Dios, la desesperación por encontrar alivio nos tentará a tomar el asunto en nuestras propias manos. Eso fue lo que hizo Onésimo. Era uno de los millones de esclavos que había en el Imperio romano, y llegó el día en que decidió que ya estaba harto. Pero no solo huyó, sino que también robó a su amo. Aunque Onésimo pensó que estaba trazando su propio curso huyendo a Roma, Dios dirigió su camino hacia el apóstol Pablo, quien lo condujo a Cristo. En su intento por liberarse, Onésimo descubrió la alegría de convertirse en un devoto siervo de Cristo. Ahora Jesús era su Maestro y su Señor, y eso significaba que tenía que corregir su falta y regresar a su amo terrenal. Puesto que los esclavos fugitivos enfrentaban la pena de muerte, Pablo intercedió en su favor con una carta a su amo Filemón, un creyente que, al parecer, él había conducido a la fe.
La madurez espiritual es un proceso que comienza cuando una persona acepta a Jesucristo como su Salvador. Él o ella renace en el Espíritu Santo y escoge vivir "en Cristo." (Filipenses 3:12-14). El mismo apóstol Pablo no lo había alcanzado, aún así continuamente prosiguió a la meta.
Considering how much the devil hates people and how dead set he is on destroying them, it's no wonder we see so much tragedy and disaster in the world. In fact, it's amazing that we don't see more! I asked the Lord about that one time and He told me it takes the realm of darkness a long time to set up major disasters. Take the aviation industry, for example. It's highly regulated and works hard at policing itself because safety is its product. You take a highly regulated system like that and the devil has to work terribly hard to cause disasters. He can't just come roaring in and rip things up any time he wants to. If he could, he'd knock every plane out of the sky tonight. But he can't do it.

Some people are waiting for life to improve before they change their attitude. But it doesn't work that way. We must first change our attitude and learn to give thanks in the middle of our situation. Thanksgiving enables God to change adverse circumstances. We will see amazing changes in our lives when we consistently keep an attitude of gratitude.

Fear and anxiety can disrupt our communication with God. We must trust Him in all our trials
We have to trust God and let Him guide us. We have to hand Him our independence and our desire for control. We have to let Him take the reins of our lives in His Hands.
All our daily actions can be carried out by the background of eternity. That perspective sets the tone for our lives. All our daily actions can be carried out with the background of eternity. Every decision, every action, every thought, every attitude is based on our eternal life through Christ. We're engulfed by him and our lives are entwined with him forever.
We spend too much time worrying about obtaining and securing possessions and status according to the standards of this world. God wants us to focus on eternity with Him. He is our Provider and Deliverer.
And we know that all things work together to those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose Roman's 8:28

The Creation narrative in the first two chapters of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, clearly indicates that the work of creation was done in six, 24-hour days. Evolution directly contradicts this and denies God’s creative power. Just as Christ performed miracles instantaneously while He was here on earth, so also He did His work of creation instantaneously during Creation week. The Bible says, “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. . . . For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:6, 9). God says, “I have made the earth, and created man on it. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded” (Isaiah 45:12). One cannot believe these verses and also believe in evolution.
Profanity means swear words. The adjective is 'profane'. Profanities can also be called curse ("cuss") words, dirty words, bad words, foul language, obscenity, obscene language, or expletives. It can be called swearing, although this also has a normal meaning of making a "solemn promise".
Gambling is a sin—specifically casino gambling and gambling which requires no honest labor. The suicide rate amongst gamblers is 150% higher than average. Herbert Jenkins, former president of the International Association of Police Chiefs, said ... "For every dollar received in gambling taxes, government spends ten-dollars fighting problems directly related to legalized gambling--prostitution, embezzlement, bad checks, police corruption, racketeers and mobsters sworn to the gambling community and bring with them other businesses." Former FBI director, Clarence Kelly, declared that "legalized gambling would not help eliminate corruption; but rather would develop a new class of gamblers who would switch to the illegal games as their addiction grows." Wake up America! It is sinfully covetous to desire to get money without labor.
“Take heed what you hear” (Mark 4:24): the word “hear” obviously includes what is read, for that which is written or printed is addressed to the ears of our intellect. Few people today realize the urgent need for “taking heed” unto what they read. Just as the natural food which is eaten either helps or hinders the body—so the mental food we receive either benefits or injures the mind, and that, in turn, affects the heart. Just as it is harmful to listen to the rubbish and poison which is being served from the great majority of present-day pulpits—so it is exceedingly injurious to the soul to read most of what is now being published. “Take heed what you hear” and read! But let us seek to be more specific. The only thing which is really worth calling “religion” is the life of God in the soul-commenced, carried on, and consummated solely by the Holy Spirit. Hence, whatever does not bear the impress of the Spirit’s unction, should be rejected by the Christian: for not only can unctionless messages do us no good—but what proceeds not from the Spirit—is of the flesh. Here, then, is the test which God’s children ought to apply unto all they hear, and here is the balance in which they should weigh all that they read. True, there are varying degrees of the Spirit’s unction. As it is in the natural so it is in the spiritual—there will be a varying amount of wetness from the faintest moisture of dew—as compared to the copious shower. As there had to be “salt” in every sacrifice (Lev. 2:13), so every discourse or article proceeding from the Spirit’s aid, is “seasoned with salt” (Colossians 4:6). But O how very much today is devoid of spiritual savor and flavor!

Alcohol’s impact on your body starts from the moment you take your first sip. While an occasional glass of wine with dinner isn’t a cause for concern, the cumulative effects of drinking wine, beer, or spirits can take its toll.
Christians generally like to do Christian things. As there are a lot of Christians in the world, entire industries have sprung up to bring Christians the sort of entertainment they desire. Christian music, Christian movies, Christian books, Christian radio, Christian television, the list goes on and on. Despite the ever growing number of Christian outlets, few Christians relegate themselves solely to Christian entertainment. Most Christians still enjoy listening to secular music and reading secular books. Heavens knows there were a huge number of Christians in the theaters when “The Last Jedi” premiered. Just because something is common or normal, however, does not make it right. Christians may enjoy blockbusters such as “The Avengers” and “Jurassic World,” but is it okay for Christians to be going to see such films? Should Christians watch secular movies or should they confine themselves solely to Christian entertainment?

The Bible does not mention smoking * or other means of using tobacco. However, it contains principles showing that God does not approve of unhealthy and unclean habits and thus views smoking as a sin.
Respect for life. “God . . . gives to all people life and breath.” (Acts 17:24, 25) Since life is a gift from God, we should not do anything that would shorten our life, such as smoking. Smoking is one of the main causes of preventable death worldwide.
That’s an important prompt in youth athletics — not just for the kids, but perhaps even more so for coaches bent on winning and parents pressing to live vicariously through their children. Against the backdrop of our societal obsession with sports is the craziness that has become youth athletics. Once it was just a game; the goal was a good time. Now it can feel like life or death. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for kids to play simply for enjoyment, rather than feel dominated by the desire to “make it big” or appease their overzealous supporters.

All Music was created by God but satan perverts it. We must be careful with the type of music that does not edify.
God has given everyone an assignment! An assignment is a mission or position to which a person is assigned. We each have a position in the Body of Christ and a distinct mission to fulfill… and God has perfectly equipped us to succeed in His assignment. All visionary leaders have to some degree recognized and embraced this charge.
We belong to Jesus. To say “Jesus is my Lord” means, first of all, that I belong to Him. My life is his now. It is no longer I who live says St. Paul, but Christ who’s living in me. I still live my human life, but now a life of faith in the Son of God.
Born again is a phrase used by many Protestants to describe the phenomenon of gaining faith in Jesus Christ. It is an experience when everything they have been taught as Christians becomes real, and they develop a direct and personal relationship with God.
Waking up feeling purposeless is incredibly frustrating. You look around and see your friends and coworkers living passionate, engaged, meaningful lives. They have deep relationships, rewarding jobs and a sense of direction that compels them to hop out of bed each morning with a spring in their step. You know that God has something good in store for you. You don't believe he intends you to live a life of painful drudgery in which each day is a total drag. After all, the Bible is chock full of passages about joy. While this certainly doesn't mean that every single day is a parade and circus, it does mean that an overall sense of gladness should permeate your life.
As a Christian, you are an ambassador for Christ. That is: one who represents Christ. Just as an earthly ambassador represents and communicates the desires and will of the head of state that sent him or her, so are you to represent and communicate the desires and will of Christ to others. “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ …” 2 Corinthians 5:20.

BE STRENGTHENED IN THE LORD
 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." Ephesians 6:10 How can someone have the strength to stand up to any adversity? Only he that believes in Jesus and has learned to depend completely on Him. The Lord is the source of our energy, the power to keep us standing. He is the light that illuminates our lives so that nothing dark consumes us. He is the one who forgives us when we repent of all our wrongs. He is the one who encourages us when we are discouraged. He is the One who picks us up when we have fallen, the One who comforts us when we are grieved .
If you’re going to come to the Lord’s Table you’re going to have to take it seriously. You cannot deal with the Lord’s Table superficially. You cannot deal with the Lord’s Table perfunctorily as if it’s just a routine. You have to come to the Lord’s Table very thoughtfully and in a worthy way; and what that means essentially is you’ve got to take a look at your life.
Have you ever wondered what Jesus is doing, now that He has ascended to heaven? [Hebrews 10:10–14] tells us that after offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, He sat down at the right hand of God. Verse 13 might lead us to believe He is simply sitting up there waiting for the time when He comes back to rule and reign on earth. But when we consider other passages, we soon realize He is quite active on our behalf.
If GOD can breath life into dust, fixing your broken relationship is certainly within His skill set. Have faith. Pray for GOD to be mindful of your broken relationship and breathe new life into it. Humble yourself. Be willing to take the first step. Don't doubt. GOD loves you and He is for you. GOD has made a "career" out of solving the impossible—taking lifeless skeletons and breathing new life in them. Remember, GOD created man in the first place.
Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. — James 5:14 What we are doing in healing prayer is bringing the body into a place where the power of God can flow into the affliction — especially into the places of affliction. We are also presenting ourselves to be used of God as channels of that healing power.
Let’s be clear: I absolutely believe some people suffering from damaged emotions need to get professional help. Sometimes, though, we try to cope with the symptoms, and stop short of facing the sources of the pain. God goes straight to the heart of the problem with a prescription I’d like to offer you. You might be surprised at the simplicity. “Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray”(James 5:13). The word “troubled” here means afflicted, suffering, enduring hardship or distress. Anxious, stressed, discouraged. Have you ever felt that way? Of course. We all have.
David was a man after God's own heart . . . What does it mean to be someone "after God's own heart?" David, King, psalmist and shepherd, gives us a picture with his own life. In many ways he is an extraordinary role model, a man who was fully human but exceeded expectations and pointed others towards God. While the other side of David is most ordinary showing a life filled with destruction, chaos, tragedy and his personal struggle with sin. How then did David become the national hero of God's chosen people? Why is he the one character in the Bible described as "a man after God's own heart?" David's life offers hope to all of us. It shows that God can do extraordinary things through ordinary men and women. And David offers an insightful perspective on what it means to be truly a man, to become like David―men after God's own heart.
We live in times of great darkness. And Satan is ever mindful of how he can deceive us or distort our views about ourselves, and our God. In addition to Satan’s consistent efforts to gain entrance to our hearts and minds, we have to deal with our own human frailties including a predisposal towards negative thinking and a general lack of faith.
Accountability is faithful friendship, doing life side by side with a comrade, a friend or a co-worker. But we must be intentional about engaging others on this quest for a life of purity.

Having a bad day when everything goes wrong and feels off can happen from time to time. But then there are longer stretches that can turn into weeks or months of feeling unmotivated, lost or hopeless. Life may keep piling it on, but here are a few starting points for how you can climb out of your hole and get back on track.
Worries, doubts, and anxieties are a normal part of life. It’s natural to worry about an unpaid bill, an upcoming job interview, or a first date. But “normal” worry becomes excessive when it’s persistent and uncontrollable. You worry every day about “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios, you can’t get anxious thoughts out of your head, and it interferes with your daily life.
Everyone deals with discouragement at some point in their life. It’s part of what makes the human experience rich—the highs and the lows. If we didn’t experience the lows, then we wouldn’t appreciate the highs. Discouragement, disappointment, failure, and setbacks—these are all things that can help us if we maintain an empowering mindset.
This Episode will provide wise advice to the young. It is important to make wise decisions that willed to a Blessed life.
When we think of the great heroes of the Bible it’s easy to forget that many of them were just recently over the throws of puberty when God began to work in their lives. Mentally go back through the Scripture. Think of men such as Daniel, Joseph (of Genesis), David, Gideon, Samuel, Solomon and Josiah. When God called them they had barely begun to shave, which I suppose is a moot point as ‘clean-shaven’ was not a desired look for Jewish men.
Let’s read it again: “We know that all things” (both good and bad, pleasant and unpleasant – everything – and that includes every person) “works together for the best” (as it’s written in the strongest translation, and that is the most accurate), “for those who love God.” Everything that we meet in life, everything, without exception, works together for our best.
Keep an open mind and share back. History is what shapes the future. We have to learn from the people who lived in the past to have a better tomorrow.
God wants to have a relationship with all of us. He wants to be the number one person we come to when we run into problems, when we are scared, or need someone to talk to. God gives us the tools we need to reach out to Him and create that dialog. However sometimes, we choose to turn to other options. We forget that God is there for us, feel He doesn’t have time for us, or any number of excuses.
God has a specific plan for our lives and He gives us free will, as well as the guidelines of His Word and the witness of the Holy Spirit to make choices. The devil will never ease up on trying to confuse our decisions.
This parable stresses God's unmerited Grace, rather than any sense of "earning" God's favour. In this way it resembles the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
The name of Jesus is so powerful that ignorance of it is robbing many of God’s blessings and fulfilment in life. The enemy will do anything to keep man in the dark so that he can continue to oppress him. The truth is that the power in the name of Jesus brings deliverance from all oppression of the devil and delivers dominion to mankind.
Children are a gift - an amazing blessing from God. Every single day we may find ourselves doing a lot for our kids, loving and caring for them, nurturing, teaching, training, helping, leading, equipping, encouraging, protecting, and so much more. We must consistently cover them with daily and devoted prayer.
The independent creation of your personal happiness comes into play, when you realize that your personal happiness does not depend on others. It is your relationship with God that will ultimately determine your level of peace.
Have you ever faced impossible situations? Have you ever experienced that you needed deliverance but you were convinced that you could not help yourself. It was as if faced a brick wall. No friends could help you; no relatives could deliver you. Even your wife or your husband could not help you. You were totally unable to deliver yourself. This reality can be deeply experienced in our life.
Millennials are a unique generation, largely caught between adolescence and adulthood. They are a generation that has grown up in changing times. Public opinion has changed drastically from year to year on a variety of subjects, and the Millennials have had a front seat for all of it. The Millennial generation is characterized largely as disenfranchised, having lived through a period of recession and constant war in the Middle East. They are a difficult generation to reach, as they largely spurn the religion of their parents and grandparents as antiquated. They need Jesus. They need to know that Jesus is Worthy!
We want to raise our children to be a certain way and to have certain values, while the world around them applies constant pressure in the opposite direction. Don’t let this discourage you though. There are ways to successfully raise children of integrity in this pressure cooker of a world. You’re not alone, and you can do it!
