After reading Claude McKay’s poem “After the Winter,” write a journal entry beginning with the word Someday. Use rhyme as a sound device and create a hopeful mood. Write about what you’re looking forward to doing after this time period passes.
For the next few weeks, you’ll use a digital journal in place of your composition notebook for daily entry writing.
