Tom's discusses the human health and environmental impacts of industrial wind turbines with guest Barbara Durkin of Citizens' Task Force on Wind Power - Maine
Tom is joined by the ICSC-Canada Researcher, Mary-Jean Harris, B.Sc., M. Sc. (physics), to discuss the negative health and environmental impacts of industrial wind turbines. Mary-Jean explains, "People around the world who live close to wind turbines have reported symptoms such as headaches, fluctuating pressure and ringing in the ears, increased blood pressure, anxiety, nausea, panic attacks, and depression. We have seen that as people distance themselves from wind turbines, their symptoms abate or disappear. And upon returning to areas close to wind turbines, these symptoms return. This is called the Wind Turbine Syndrome."
Tom and guest Joseph Ben-Ami discuss the postmodern roots driving climate activism. Climate realists need to understand why alarmists are not swayed by evidence or reason and instead rely on emotion, storytelling and identity politics to promote a crisis that is not real.

Dr. Clark is a full Professor in the Ottawa U Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. His specialties are isotope hydrogeology and paleoclimatology. He has a BSc, an MSc from University of Waterloo and a PhD from University of Paris.
Dr. Clark's research involves groundwater geochemistry and environmental isotopes in hydro geological settings ranging from the Arctic to temperate and arid regions. Areas of research focus on groundwater contamination, groundwater resources, and climate studies. Current research programs include permafrost hydrogeology and paleoclimatology in the Arctic, groundwater contamination in agricultural regions, and other fields.

Between stints with the domestic and international parts of the TD, Parker spent several years with the Canadian subsidiary of a UK trade finance lender where he gained much of his knowledge on trade finance. During his time with TD Parker served a term as Chairman of the Canadian Bankers Association’s Trade Finance Committee interacting with EDC, the Canadian Exporters Association and the Trade Ministry.
