Above & Beyond TV gives you a glimpse of three of the world's top DJs touring lives, shows you some of the best parties on earth, and keeps you up-to-date with biggest offerings from Jono, Tony and Paavo as well as Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, their record labels.
In anticipation of their imminent Group Therapy launch weekender on May 17 & 18 at Wynn Las Vegas, the UK's most popular DJs, Above & Beyond, have made a short film about their summer residency.
The video was made on location in Las Vegas and London by the acclaimed British director Steve Glashier, who also directed the band's "On A Good Day (Metropolis)" video back in 2010. "Steve's a brilliant documentary film maker, he's able to make our everyday lives look like the movies" said Tony. "It's just a typical day at the office for us."
"Las Vegas is now one of the most important and fast-growing dance music destinations on the planet," explains Jono. "For people in North America, Las Vegas is now as important as Ibiza is for Europeans. Wynn is the best resort on the strip and is the perfect home for our Group Therapy show."
Come May 17, Vegas will host a special Group Therapy show never seen before. "We've toured the Group Therapy show the world over but a residency in Vegas demands a little bit extra from us and the venue. Wynn have really pulled out all the stops to make these shows really special and we can't wait to bring what will be a unique Group Therapy experience to Wynn and Las Vegas for the first time," said Paavo.

Over the last 12 months, Above & Beyond have taken the sound and ethos behind their critically acclaimed "Group Therapy" album ("artist album of the year ****" Mixmag) across the globe. From an intimate gig in a London pub to two sold out dates at Brixton Academy, from a landmark 400th radio show broadcast from Beirut to a sunrise set at Creamfields Argentina, and an epic 30-date North American tour, these are some of the moments that have made up their most memorable year to date.

The Anjunabeats Worldwide compilations are a showcase for the rising talents in trance and progressive that the label houses. Previous editions have served as a springboard for the famous Finns Super8 & Tab, Russian superstar Arty and the effervescent and eclectic Mat Zo.
Since mixing "Anjunabeats Worldwide 02" in 2010, Super8 & Tab were widely acclaimed for their debut artist album "Empire" ("blown away on first listen" Mixmag), while the inimitable Mat Zo has seen his recent productions supported by DJs as diverse as Above & Beyond, Skrillex, Afrojack, Scott Mills (Radio 1) and countless others.
Arty was much admired in trance circles when he mixed last year's "Anjunabeats Worldwide 03". In the 12 months since he's genuinely crossed over, with tracks like "Kate" and "Around The World" dominating the Beatport charts and being championed by pretty much every top DJ, including the Swedish House Mafia, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and David Guetta. Arty recently broadcast his first Essential Mix for Radio 1.
The latest in the series, "Anjunabeats Worldwide 04", brings two more emerging talents from the Anjunabeats stable to the fore, in the shape of Israel's Maor Levi and Poland's Nitrous Oxide.
Maor Levi burst on to the scene as a precocious 16 year old with "Lital" in 2006 and has since matured into a key part of the Anjunabeats family, as well as producing techno and house for Toolroom as 123XYZ. 2012 sees Maor at the very top of his game following a run of releases and remixes that have graced the sets of DJs from Above & Beyond to Mark Knight, from Tiesto to Fatboy Slim.
Given his very real grasp of cross genre dance music, Maor's mix is an exciting hybrid of multiple influences. It includes Mat Zo's "It's Yours" (an homage to the house classic by Jon Cutler and E-Man), as well as unreleased material from current Anjunabeats stars Norin & Rad and Genix. Also featured is an exclusive 2012 Maor Levi remix of Super8's Anjunabeats classic "Alba".
CD2 is mixed by Nitrous Oxide aka Krzysztof Pretkiewicz. Responsible for countless Anjunabeats classics such as "North Pole", "Downforce" and the recent "iPeople", Krzysztof represents forward-thinking, energised trance music at its best -- with many exclusive personal productions in his mix including his forthcoming single "Tiburon" and his collaboration with Space RockerZ "Energize".
Krzysztof's mix also journeys through tracks and remixes from Super8 & Tab, Andrew Bayer, Boom Jinx & Daniel Kandi and Ost & Meyer. Like CD1, many of these are exclusive to this compilation.

The last 12 months has seen the Above & Beyond imprint unveil one of house music's hottest new talents in Dusky, whose album "Stick By This" has been acclaimed by everyone from DJ Magazine ("an intoxicating album full of live and flashes of brilliance") to Pete Tong - with Tong naming it as one of his favourite albums of the year - while other Anjunadeep artists such as Matt Lange and Andrew Bayer on the label have blossomed. The former being described by Zane Lowe as "progressive club at its finest" and the latter's "It's Artificial" LP winning plaudits from DJ Mag, Zane Lowe again and even Nick Grimshaw.
Showcasing tracks and remixes from acts like Dusky, Tom Middleton, Maceo Plex, Vincenzo and Solarity, "Anjunadeep04" mixed by Jaytech & James Grant is the latest showcase of the label's evolution; a 28 track journey through deep house, immersive melodic grooves and modern progressive.
Representing the deeper, more house-influenced end of Anjunadeep's increasingly wide spectrum, label A&R James Grant effortlessly combines warm Maceo Plex'esque electronics, classic deep house vibes (Dusky "Lost Highway"), low-bass grooves (Tom Middleton's Liquatech Mix of Paronator "No Gravity") and the melodic house sound in which Anjunadeep has made its name. Grant also contributes three remixes to the mix in collaboration with Andrew Bayer and acknowledges the key role played by Bayer in achieving the desired sound for CD1: "We had an idea of where the label's sound should be heading this year and Andrew really helped me realise that in this mix," says Grant.
Taking time out from finishing his highly anticipated second artist album, Australian Anjunadeep star Jaytech picks up the baton and pursues the more upbeat side of the label's sound. From the future disco synths of Suspect 44's "Neon Feel" to the melodic big room tech of Soundprank's "Boundless Energy", the Australian lays down a masterclass in modern progressive. Bringing things to an emphatic climax, Jaytech's own "Atlantic" is the perfect embodiment of the musicality and class sewn into the mix.

Initially inspired by an article written by journalist Paul Harris on Detroit's urban renewal city farms in the Guardian newspaper, the video for Above & Beyond and Gareth Emery pres. OceanLab 'On A Good Day (Metropolis)' captures the song's essential meaning of triumph over adversity through the powerful, visual narrative of the Georgia Street Community Collective and their determination to make a better, brighter life for their local community.
Since the collapse of a once thriving automotive industry, Detroit has become known as a monument of urban decay with disused warehouses, derelict wasteland and vacant factories peppering the city. Georgia Street Community Collective are one of many organisations harnessing local action and bringing community volunteers together to create positive results -- regenerating wasteland as urban farms and community gardens.
