Need a release? Make sure you have THIS first. Today's episode outlines the three essential ingredients necessary in order to have a full emotional release. We spend a lot of time in a "numb" or "reactive" state that doesn't actually honor the emotions in the body. By ensuring you have these three ingredients, you will actually allow your system to fully process and clear emotions that come up. This will free up energy that is spent suppressing, avoiding and buffering to keep emotions at bay. Instead you will feel more at ease, peaceful and connected to your joy.

This week I share more about easing into 2023 and truly letting your Inner Voice guide what is of the highest and best for YOU. Through this message, I share two stories where the Inner Voice (mine, and a client’s) gave very specific, direct guidance of what to “do” next. These messages countered what the Mind thought it needed, yet led to amazing results.
It’s easy to get stuck in the Mind’s operating system… what needs to happen, what makes sense and what is productive and actionable in the moment. If we are willing to slow down, tune in and LISTEN (especially during times of turmoil), then we can hear Truths that serve at the deepest level.
If you want to dive into your Inner Voice and release emotional charges from last year, we can do it together! I have 3 spots open for The Emotional Exploration one month immersion. If it piques your interest, you can learn more here.
I want to hear from YOU! If you have any questions, comments, shares or topic requests, I’ve created a form for you. I’ll address or answer on the podcast so we can feel more connected!
Do you have routines that you love? What about ones that you are afraid to not do? This episode will give you a new perspective on your daily routines.
I offer a fun routine inventory practice and a radical approach to releasing routines that aren’t serving you any more.
Remember, each season is an opportunity to review your day to day life, release what no longer serves, and make space for something else to fill in.
If you follow the exercise in this episode, I’d love to hear from you. Share your experience in the “comments / shares” section of this Podcast Connection Form.
On today’s podcast, I give an update from the past month. Including sharing about The Emotional Edit experience, which is complete, some travel / hobby updates, and how I am easing out of 2022. I share a recent experience of emotional processing and the magic that came on the other side. My Inner Voice had a LOT to share about December and the expectations of the month vs what I’m being invited to do instead.
If you’re feeling the collective pressure to DO and it’s not in alignment, this episode will support you.
I also share about a new offer coming in January - Emotional Exporation. This is a 4-week experience where you choose one emotion/theme that keeps showing up in your life to explore in depth.
Using your Inner Voice as the primary guide, we will release emotions around this topic, support and regulate your nervous system, and emerge with a radically different relationship with your chosen theme.
I am SO excited to offer this publicly for 5 people in January. If this is exciting to you or you feel a nudge from your Inner Voice, you can learn more here.
If you want to be the first to hear about the next round of The Emotional Edit, you can join the waitlist here. This round will likely run in March.

This episode talks about grief, unprocessed emotions, and the power of releasing in community. I share my unexpected experience of release, the pain that came with it, and the beautiful resolution. If you’ve ever mourned something but didn’t understand what or why you were in mourning, this episode will be extra supportive.
Episode 125 is a follow up to Episode 124 so I recommend listening to 124 first. The squirrel saga continued as I realized I had not, in fact, fully processed that event. I came to realize that the squirrel was a catalyst for a deep, unprocessed grief that was stuck in my body. This episode explores the events leading up to my release, and the difference between messages from the mind verses the body.

I have never been so excited to release something so NEEDED. It’s time to get off the computers and IN to your body. This is an experience, an intensive, a re-entry to your emotional realm via your physical form and inner voice. This is you going offline, so you can get in-line with yourself and learn to experience your emotions in a whole new way… to give your entire system a tune up by tuning in and learning the language of your body once and for all. I invite you to join me for this four-week exploration of the physical form, emotional body and inner voice.
In today’s episode, I share a heart-breakig story of a little squirrel. I share the full experience and explore how powerful it is to BE WITH THE PAIN and emotions that arise. I also reflect on the beautiful way my husband responded to my pain and the gift we can give each other by allowing ourselves to be witnessed in our pain. This episode is a powerful representation of the emotional process and what it means to truly FEEL and allow emotions to fully express themselves. I also highlight the importance of emotional charges, the difference between experiencing and event vs processing it, and how an intense even supports us in processing the current charge and old unprocessed emotions.

In today’s episode I give you an update from my trip to Block Island, Rhode Island. It was a magical trip that helped me reflect on where I am out of balance in my “at home” life. After two weeks of play - making cocktails, running on the beach, morning swims, sunset walks, fireworks, fire pits, calling in aliens and clamming, I feel so happy and grateful.
Beyond that, on day 11 of my trip, I had a powerful download arrive just as I was falling asleep. I grabbed my phone and furiously typed to try to capture the words and they were swirling in my body. I felt electric, inspired, tearful, delighted. As my heart raced, my mind thought: “this is too much, it’s too good to be true.” But I allowed it, I breathed it in and opened myself to the wisdom and Truth that needed to come through.
From THAT, a new online experience was born - The Emotional Edit. In today’s episode I share how that experience unfolded and some of the exact words that came through. If you can feel the vibration and the pull from this episode, I invite you to join me for The Emotional Edit Experience.

It’s story time! Episode 122 of the podcast is a fun, lively and candid conversation with Dorothy Johnson - a past client, fellow projector and all around amazing human. She’s best known as “Breakup Coach Dorothy” and the work she does in the world to help you get over your ex in three-months or less.
This conversation touches on some BIG experiences that Dorothy went through while working with me. She talks about an ectopic pregnancy, lessons from her Tinkerbell the dog, what the Marshmallow Experiment is, paying off debt in full, trusting in yourself, and the value of emotional processing and support during an intense period of time. This conversation gives you a behind the scenes look and what really happens when you start to release emotional charges and use your Inner Voice as your guiding post.

Ever wake up in the middle of the night with extreme fear or panic? Like your mind is hooked on everything wrong or bad that could happen? I’ve been there and it’s exhausting! In those moments it feels essential to listen to the mind, to be carried away by the fear and stay up ruminating.
What if there was a way to calm the mind, release the grip, reassure yourself and fall back to sleep? That’s what we talk about in this week’s podcast episode. In fact, I included a full audio to listen to when your mind wakes you up in fear. You can listen to that on the podcast or download the edited version with music with the link below.

I keep hearing Beyonce’s song “Upgrade U” running through my head. That’s exactly what happened to me on July 15. Something absolutely shifted in my sphere and I suddenly had access to an upgraded energetic experience. This moment lasted an entire day and opened my eyes up to something brand new. Since then I’ve continued to live with a fresh perspective of how good life can be. It has required me to be present with my body, aware of my upper limits and constantly redirect my mind toward what’s going well.
How did this all come to be? Well, that’s what this podcast is all about.
If you’ve felt like you are in a rut, like you are stuck or heavy, know this won’t last forever. In Episode 118, I review the last two years - the ups and downs, and the path toward this feeling of renewal. It’s possible for you too!

Can you sense it? Can you see it? You, my friend, are growing! You are growing up, growing into yourself and expanding beyond your level of awareness. I see it… but do you? Recently I was reminded that when we are in a growth phase, we usually see it as others changing, or the world around us shifting. If we pause and reflect, we may see that it’s actually our own growth and shift in perspective that is causing the world to look different.
In this episode, I share a few key stories of my own growth and evolution, the importance of choosing to look for your own growth, and some powerful questions for you to reflect on.

Ever notice that when life gets hard, we tend to let go of our most crucial practices? In episode 116 of the podcast, I share how this happened to me. More importantly, I share about how I bounced back and was able to call both my energy and personal power back. It’s amazing how quickly we can lose sight of ourselves and the bigger picture and get lost in the details, social media and the “other.” In this episode I share four pillars to establishing connection when you feel lost, hopeless or disconnected.
On today’s episode of the Tuning In Podcast, I share some simple practices to bring you from an emotionally charged state to one of calm clarity. I share a recent story where I took on challenges of three people in my life - none of which were mine to fix. Yet, I fell into an old pattern of taking on the responsibility to protect, fix and defend people in my life. After following the practices outlined in this episode, I was able to settle into a neutral state. From that place I could hold a loving, safe space for people in my life and stop leaking energy. I hope you use these practices and experience great relief!

I am deep in clean out mode. A few days ago I got “hit” with the inspiration to complete my laundry room/closet project that I abandoned a few months ago. A simple nudge from the Universe sent me down a path of Feng Shui which got me excited to clean out, rearrange and revamp my laundry room. In today’s episode, I share the flow that brought me here and how this is part of my work. I talk about the parallels to house clean out projects and emotional clear out, and what it means for my business when I suddenly need to tackle a house project.

On today’s episode of the Tuning In Podcast, I open up and share about my week of feeling quite “low.” As I share, I address the misconception we, as humans, have that it’s not ok to feel low, especially when there’s nothing actively “wrong” in our lives. By talking this out, I actually end up giving MYSELF some great advice! Ha! This episode was everything that I needed to hear while going through a low period. It is also what I want YOU to hear to help you reframe what it means to feel low, release judgment and allow yourself to truly FLOW with the LOW. Enjoy!

Peace. Most minds that I speak to want peace. They seek out peace. They just wish they could feel more peace. Is that something you wish for? Where do you look for peace? What if this feeling, this experience, was available to you regardless of your external circumstances? In this episode, I talk about the challenges, discomfort and anxiety that have been present for me recently. I also share one of the most profound moments of PEACE that came through in the midst of intense anxiety. This led me down a path of looking for the pocket of peace that lives deep within me and following my Inner Voice to get there.

This week, I spoke with the Spiritual Investor, Elizabeth Ralph. We dive right into a big topic - scarcity and abundance and what it means to be in the energy of money. This episode gets into the nitty gritty of money mindset, and what it takes to get out of the scarcity and lack mentality and lean into more ease. Both Elizabeth and I share some very personal stories about our experiences with money and how that has evolved over time.
Quotes:
“We are always recreating the past, or creating the new.”
“Merging money manifestation with real-world finance.”
“Spiritual people think they are practicing money by saying they don’t care. But that isn’t neutrality.”
“Money is not outside of you, money is not separate from you.”
What we cover:
Why neutrality is more importance than abundance
What your values and self-identity say about your money story
What is closeted money?
Money is energy - what that really means
Amplification of money
Why you aren’t separate from money

This week I am recording from Buena Vista, CO - one of my favorite mountain towns. I had a dedicated few days off and headed here to relax and recharge. Unfortunately, my body didn’t get the memo. After cleaning the air b&b, voice memo-ing my friend, going on a walk and doing ALL THE THINGS… I finally paused. That is when I was able to see and understand what was going on. Tune in to hear about my ongoing struggles to settle into “vacation mode” and my new perspective on this matter.
If you’ve ever struggled to turn “off” and “just relax” then this episode is for you. I have some tips and tricks along with Inner Voice wisdom to support you as you learn how your body best responds to relaxation and receiving.
This week, I am welcoming 2022 with a life update. I recently took a month off from active coaching and 6 weeks off from the podcast. What has unfolded since December is all over the place. I got caught up in a phone scam, traveled to Sedona, got knocked down with a cold, and continue to be guided to “slow the eff down” by my Inner Voice. My mind thinks I couldn’t possibly live any slower and yet I keep having life pump the brakes on me. All of the inner shifts call for a new season. Welcome to Season 4 of the tuning in podcast! I’m excited to dive in with my new energy and my new “default”, something I discuss more on this episode.
I also have exciting news! I am opening two more slots for InSight 1:1 coaching. You can sign up for a “preview” month or a three- or six- month package. I’m onboarding people to start at the beginning of March. If you feel an inner nudge or a spark to join me or learn more, book a 30 minute chat with me to explore more.
This is the final episode of 2021. Instead of a typical “how to prepare for 2022” recording, I will tell you the winding story of “The Mouse Couch” and how finally getting it out of the garage (after 2 years!) changed me. In this episode, I talk about the energetics of December and the importance of following your inner nudges when it comes to cleaning out, organizing and reevaluating your home and personal spaces. It’s a fun episode that does have a sneaky lesson about how to integrate your lessons from the year, release what is no longer serving and step into 2022 with clean energy.
In episode 106, I share a simple but radical experience I had with my Inner Voice. After a dizzying day on Sunday where I felt overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated and bogged down by my to do list, I woke up Monday with a new approach. I spent some time journaling and speaking to my Inner Voice. What came through radically changed the trajectory of my day. It also shifted my understanding of “slowing down” something we talk about often on this podcast.
I read a message that my Inner Voice wrote to me, and shared how I embodied the lesson on Monday. What my Inner Voice shared is completely aligned with the upcoming Release & Return to Self workshop. If you want to join, you can register here.
This week I share a beautiful story of how my dad always validated and explored my pain as a child. It was so important in my life that I now use a similar technique with my clients and myself. I share it in this episode as a way to introduce you to something VERY exciting…
I am SO excited to announce an upcoming workshop - Release & Return to Self. This 2-hour workshop is designed to help you release the built up and unprocessed emotions from 2020 (gasp!) and 2021. Consider this your antidote to every goal-setting, mind-based, planning, plotting and striving workshop. What happens if you set goals from a cloudy place full of pressure and expectation? What if you allowed yourself to first release the BS that has built up and find the calm place of clarity within? What if your Inner Voice has insights that your mind could never have planned for? That’s what this workshop will do for you! I invite you (+ a friend) to join me on Sunday, 12/19 at 12:00 pm ET / 9:00 am PT for this magical return to self.
If you feel inspired to join, sign up for the workshop here.
This week I share yet another episode about space. While I know I talk about this often, I feel it is very important to continue to share this journey and my relationship with space, specifically allowing space to feel and process emotions that arise. I share two examples of how I found space for myself this past weekend, and what unfolded afterward.
After my shares, I have a special message from my Inner Voice. In allowing for space, I was able to channel a clear and bubbly message from my Inner Voice to YOU. It speaks about the new wave that we are entering into, and how we can express, experience and embody this within ourselves.
Finally, last week I was nudged to create a workshop where I hold space for YOU to process emotions, shed 2021, and come back to yourself. I am so excited to invite you to join me on Sunday 12/12 for a group emotional clearing. If you are interested, you can add your email to this form and I will let you know when I have more details.

This week I share something that has come up with myself, friends and clients recently. The topic of SPACE. While this is something I talk about frequently on this podcast, it’s worth addressing again.
I share the importance of creating space in your life if you truly want to shift and step into what you desire. Without space, there is no room to add more into your life, certainly not more of what you desire.
By getting honest with yourself about what is truly necessary in life, you can choose to make space for the magic, the divine alignment that life wants to bring you. With space comes clarity.

What is your relationship with fear? Does it rule your life? Does it guide your big decisions? Does fear disguise itself as keeping you safe?
This week on the Tuning In podcast I discuss these questions with my special guest, Jen Conger. Jen is an intuitive business coach, founder of the Fligned Flow Mastermind and one of my favorite people to talk about all things intuition and transition to the 5D realm.
This week we dive deep into the conversation of FEAR. We both share recent stories of how fear showed up in our lives and how we returned to our intuition. We talk about the difference between fear and intuition, how to notice when you're in fear, and how to gently bring yourself back to the intuitive knowing within. Jen and I talk about what it means to take a leap of faith by letting your intuition guide you - especially right now.
Stay around until the end to hear a channeled message from Jen's Light Team... something all of us can benefit from right now.
If you're interested to learn more about how Jen used her intuition to release fear, expand her life and build her 6-figure business, you can join her upcoming FREE experience: Revolution of Intuition.
Spend five days connecting deeply to your own intuitive wisdom and allow it to share insights and messages for you. These five days are modeled after a month in her Aligned Flow Mastermind, which is opening again this month.
I can't wait to see you inside the Revolution of Intuition group. I'm excited for you to listen to this conversation all about fear and intuition and how to expand our conversations and understanding of these topics.

How do you deal with anger, sadness, frustration, fear, etc? Were you taught how to process and FEEL emotions, or were you taught to avoid, dismiss or bypass them? This week we learn how to feel. I share how waking up feeling heavy and sad transformed into a weekend of frustration, distraction, unsettledness and fear. I talk about emotional baggage or “beanbags” and how they show up so we can process, release and transmute them back into light. We talk about the “highs” and “lows” of emotions and how to see them differently so you don’t feel the need to numb yourself. Once you learn to ride the emotions and FEEL them all, you will be free from living a life full of reactivity. Let’s dive in!

I share how I neutralized a very charged story that I’d been carrying for the past 8 months. We dive deep into emotions and what I’m doing for myself and my clients to move things out and release them. This week I challenge you to challenge what you are told. I share the beautiful unfolding of my engagement in 2017 and the flow that followed all the way through my wedding day.
Even though I was told all the horror stories about weddings...
"it's going be a HARD year"
"weddings are so stressful"
"my in laws were so demanding"
"my parents insisted on inviting so many people"
"I couldn't wait for my wedding to be over, so I could relax"
...I chose not to buy into it. Instead I chose to have a stress-free, flowy experience. And much to MY suprise, it actually happened. Tune in to hear the entire story and some fun musings from me.
This week I’m sharing my musings about spaciousness, clearing out and minimalism. After being faced with all the STUFF that was stored in my laundry room, I realized how much unintentional baggage that I am holding within my home. Things were tucked away, hidden and rarely used, filling dark corners...so why are they in my home? I came to the conclusion that something needs to shift.
The golden thread in my life and work is SPACE. Creating, seeking, holding, beautifying, embodying spaciousness. I help my clients find physical, mental, emotional and energetic space in life, so they can pull everything out of their closet to see it, look at it and release it. Then they can put things back in an orderly manner so there aren’t so many dark, scary corners. Sounds nice, eh? Life has a beautiful way of guiding us toward what is right, right now. What becomes possible when we choose to operate from our inner guidance instead of outward projections of the mind? What if we let life participate in the unfolding instead of trying to control our experience from the mind.
This week I share an energy update of where I am at - physically, emotionally and spiritually. I share a beautiful story of how LIFE helped me cut back on caffeine, so I didn’t have to use the force and will-power of the mind, and how that experience showed me something BIG that I totally missed in my life.
The past two weeks I experienced what it means to be “cracked open” - the third phase of the InSight Coaching Experience. It took me a while to understand what was going on because I was rationalizing what I was feeling instead of experiencing it.
This episode covers what’s wrong with the “go go go” mentality, how avoiding a feeling actually extends it, and why it’s essential to create space in your life in order to expand and grow.
To create something radically new, we must release the old. Things must fall apart before they can come together.

Do you ever feel pulled in multiple directions? Like everyone needs your attention? Like everyone is “taking” your energy and you have no space?
This week, we continue our conversation about creating SPACE in our lives. Sometimes it’s the lack of space that helps us to recognize not only how important it is, but also how we DEAL when we don’t have the space we want or need.
Listen in for a powerful conversation about honoring the space we need, setting boundaries, and reclaiming our energy and power.
What do you have space for in your life?
Inspired ideas, inspired action, an unplanned phone call or hang out with friends and family, cleaning out your closet, deleting instagram followers, taking a nap or a leisurely walk…none of the above?
If you don’t have space, what are you sacrificing?
We schedule our days, block our calendars and think that the Mind can plan for inspiration, insight and joy. Not the case.
This week on the Tuning In Podcast, I dive into a topic that your Mind might resist a bit - that’s the point!
I invite you to explore your relationship to spaciousness - specifically as it relates to your schedule, to-do list and calendar (gasp!). When you have fewer scheduled tasks and plans, you create SPACE for divine alignment, unexpected invitations, spontaneity and inspired action.
You create space for magic.
If you’re ready to create more space in your life and co-create with your Inner Voice to live in alignment with YOUR truth, then I would LOVE to hear from you!
I have space for one more beautiful soul in my 3-month 1:1 Insight Coaching Experience. If you want to tune in and make space for magic this Summer and explore what working together could and would look like, DM me on IG or email me at dana@alignful.com.
In this episode, I talk about resting tension (not to be confused with “resting bitch face”, though they could be related lol). As you lean into the practice of slowing down and doing less, you may find you are unconsciously holding onto tension in the body.
Join me as we explore how resting tension shows up in the body and why it is so important to soften and release. I also take you through a simple practice that you can do anytime to calm your nervous system, unwind and amplify the benefits of slowing down and resting.
If you’re ready to create more space and rest in your life AND co-create with your inner voice to live in alignment with YOUR truth, then I would LOVE to hear from you! DM me on IG or email me at dana@alignful.com
How much time do you spend in your head? What if those thoughts on loop are very things that are keeping you from living your best life? In this episode, I sit down to talk with NLP certified coach and author, Kandis James, who is on a passionate mission to help you create a life you love.
For those of you that have been following this podcast for a while, you know that Kandis is also my Magical Morning Partner. We have been sending each other voice notes talking about our gratitude, our dreams, and so much more every day for almost a year. In this juicy conversation, we talk about practice, the power of our thoughts, and Kandis’s new book Get Outta Your Head and Into Your Life.
In this part-memoir, part-actionable personal development book, Kandis shares her experiences and knowledge in a way that simultaneously entertains and teaches you how to make lasting changes in your life so you too can create a life filled with joy, happiness, and success - no matter what is going on in the world around you.
In this episode, you’ll also get to learn the three-step process of letting go that has transformed Kandis’s life and that you can use right now to bring more peace and joy into your life.

Power of Now by Eckart Tolle
What do hiring a cleaning company, eating Smarties and being a great employee have in common? You’ll find out in this episode. I share an experience I had last Saturday that highlighted something buried deep in my subconscious mind.
Last year, my Inner Voice blessed me with a mantra that I use to guide my daily life: “Rest when tired, work when inspired.” Even though I thought my mind was on board with this, a tiny thought from my subconscious recently popped up to prove me wrong.
Your thoughts and subconscious programming are so important - they are the identity that you operate from. It’s only through slowing down and shining the light on these narratives that you can truly transform.
Becoming aware of this programming is the first step toward deconditioning old programming, rewiring your subconscious, and doing what it takes to release what no longer serves you.
This week, I invite you to slow down and create space to notice thoughts and subconscious narratives. It may not be comfortable, but it is definitely worth it. In fact, it is essential to create real transformation in your life.
If you would like support as you go there, this is the work that I do. If you’d like to explore working together, DM me on IG or email me at dana@alignful.com.

If the Full Blood Moon and Lunar eclipse had you in your feels last week, you’re not alone. Apparently, this potent full moon energy was an invitation to reflect on the past 6 months and choose to either double down on what you said you desire OR to let it go.
As I reflected on the deep healing journey that I have been on and what I REALLY want, I felt a nudge to book a reiki session with a powerful intuitive and healer. In this episode, I share the affirming and comforting message she shared (it was EVERYTHING I needed to hear).
I also share how I’m choosing to go DEEPER in my journey (yes, deeper!) and invite you to STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN so that you can move forward into this new cycle with intention.
In so many ways, this episode is your permission to give yourself permission, so sit back, tune in, and enjoy!

In this episode, I sit down with Intuitive Business Coach, Jen Conger, for a deep and delightful conversation about harnessing the power of your intuition in all areas of your life.
Jen’s story is inspiring. At four months pregnant, she found herself having a panic attack at work. Despite the outward “success” in her corporate job, she found herself continually unhappy and unfulfilled. At that realization, she decided to leave her corporate career to start her coaching business.
Jen firmly believes that business is a reflection of the soul that awakens to abundance, joy, and freedom when you do. She combines spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and energetic levels to transform the way you think, act and behave. Her mission is to show you how to tune in to your intuition and co-create with your non-physical Light Team so you can have the business and life of your dreams.
Listen in to learn how Jen first discovered her intuitive gifts and all about the chilling near-death experience that ignited her spiritual journey. We also talk about each of our “Light Teams” and how your Inner Voice fits into the equation. Plus, you’ll find out what intuition REALLY is (it’s likely NOT what you think).
To jumpstart your own intuitive journey, sign up for Jen’s free 4-day Live masterclass - The Revolution of Intuition - starting June 1. Register here:alignful.com/revolution

Welcome to Season 3 of the Tuning In podcast! I’m back after my trip to Hawaii and a little hiatus, feeling like a whole new person. As we head into a new season, I take a moment to recap the 9-month journey I’ve been on (full of high highs and low lows) with some powerful takeaways that you can begin applying to your own life today.
As I record this, I am at a point of incredible steadiness, with more clarity than ever in regards to the way that I am meant to live and work in alignment with my Human Design and my inner guidance. Whether you are a Projector or not, listen in for ways that you can begin creating the SPACE required for your own beautiful metamorphosis.
And remember, it’s very hard to have a metamorphosis when you’re living the same routine, doing the same thing every day. Habits and routines can quickly become ruts. This is the work I am here to support you with!
So if you’re feeling a nudge or a calling to have a more ACTIVE role in where you go next…if you’re ready to co-create with your inner voice to find more fun, ease, and joy in your life, then I would LOVE to hear from you! DM me on IG or email me at dana@alignful.com

This week Dana shares the WHY behind not wanting to record a podcast this week. In week 4 of the Sloth Experiment, she experienced anger, sadness and a strong desire to be in solitude. She also shares a wonderful article that a listener sent her, all about the ancient wisdom of “hermit people.” You can read the article here:

This week Dana comes to you with yet another big realization - she finally understands the purpose of this Sloth Experiment. While there were hints along the way, her mind did not actively know why she was doing this or what she was to learn. This short and sweet episode gives you a peek into week 2 of the experiment and all that Dana learned amidst the chaos.
This week, Dana shares her first recap from The Sloth Experiment - what her Inner Voice dubbed her 90 day rest plan. She sat down with NO IDEA what she was going to talk about, and ended up sharing a lot about emotions. She had some real-time insights during the episode, and shares her NEW take on "good" vs "bad" emotions. She recorded this episode right after having her own Inner Voice session, and she shares some insights that her Inner Voice shared, along with some fun stories. This is a closer look at what Dana is going through and what it's like to experience a deep inner transformation.
This week, Dana shares some things that she has been keeping to herself. She has been quietly listening to and witnessing what is going on with friends, family and clients. She came to a conclusion that we are exhausted of “the old way” of doing things that it is time to embrace “The Season of the Sloth." She realized In order to work best, we need a lot of time and space to integrate, connect with nature and be FREE from daily responsibilities and expectations. We need to slow down, go inward and listen to ourselves, to not fight the desires that arise. This week she shares how she is embarking on this journey and what is unfolding along the way. Hopefully it inspires you to find your own pockets of rest and integration for the last two months of 2020.

She then shares multiple ways YOU can start to let go in different areas of your life - from the surface to the most powerful in-depth experiences. This episode marks the start of Season 2 of the Tuning In Podcast. Dana gives you a life update and shares some serious lessons she learned while on vacation for 12 days… namely - that taking space (a vacation) does not necessarily mean you will be totally recovered or ready to take on the world. She also talks about our body’s natural desire to ebb and flow, to energetically move from summer to fall, to winter. And how you can HONOR this rhythm with simple practices. She shares her current obsession with organizing and purging her home, and how this is directly related to her own inner transformation - as she makes space for something new.
In this episode of the Tuning In podcast, Dana busts the meditation myth. She talks about how you can incorporate meditation in a way that aligns with YOUR life. She shares her unconventional definition of meditation and what it really means.
Dana has been meditating for over a decade and is trained in Transcendental Meditation. However, throughout her meditation journey, she has found that the best way to start is to STOP trying to fit your meditation practice into a box.
As always, Dana shows us that showing up for yourself in simple, small ways is better than not showing up at all.
This episode is for you if you find yourself saying “I can’t sit still.”, “I can’t stop my thoughts.” or “I’m not the meditating type.” Dana dissolves these beliefs for you by redefining what meditation is and why you actually may LOVE incorporating it into your life.
This week, Dana shares candidly about feeling down and sad, despite everything being “good” in her life. She shares her unique perspective on feeling “bad” and what she does and doesn’t do to feel better. She reflects on our societal expectations to feel “good” all the time and why she is happy to feel down… sometimes. Finally, she shares a simple and effective way to allow the energy to transform when you are ready to shift your state. This is a perfect episode for you if you find yourself judging your emotions or asking yourself “what’s wrong with me?”

That there is power in pausing, feeling and processing emotional "bean bags" instead of offloading your white-discomfort onto someone else. Finally, she shares her vision for upholding this movement and making it a reality. She shares the aligned actions she is taking to educate and incorporate these lessons into her life and business.

This week, Dana talks ALL about the Inner Voice. What is it, do YOU have one, how to connect with it and WHY it’s important. Then she shares her simple, three-step “Stop, Look and Listen” process so YOU can start engaging with your Inner Voice today.
If there’s a problem, then inherently there’s also a solution. This week Dana deep dives into what she thinks our biggest problem is… while it’s easy to turn to others to “fix” us and tell us what to do… to add more tasks to our checklist, it’s not helping the PROBLEM. Instead, Dana asks you to tune inward to solve the problem. Start living based on what’s RIGHT FOR YOU, not what’s EXPECTED OF YOU.
This week, Dana takes her own advice and does NOT record the podcast episode she planned. Instead, she talks about alignment before action, and what it means to be IN alignment before you do a task. Dana believes that the energy that you put into Doing has a direct effect on the RESULT of that Doing. Where are you “pushing through” instead of honoring your body? Why are we so afraid to follow our body’s guidance? The answer is our Egos… Dana discusses all of that in this punchy, inspired episode.
This week, Dana talks about a topic she is very passionate about - voting with your dollars. She shares how we can all make a difference when we become conscious consumers and choose to purchase from companies that meet our values. She walks you through a ripple effect scenario where one purchase can vote “for” many different scenarios. She also shares some of her favorite brands to support and the WHY behind them.
Is kindness undervalued? In a society where there is SO MUCH that we can’t change, what CAN you change each day? This week, Dana talks about the value of simple acts of kindness…offering a smile to a stranger, giving a genuine compliment and just being a NICE person.
How can you lead with kindness each day? Not only will your day change, but you may have a massive impact on someone else's day.
This week Dana reflects on our tendency to glorify the past. However, this inherently diminishes the PRESENT. We spend so much time thinking about the PAST and worrying/hoping for the future that we forget the power of the present. What can you do NOW? If you think about the “good ole’ days” and want to go back, you are saying you want to DEVOLVE. Even if you aren’t as “healthy”, “fit”, “fun” or “engaged” as you used to be, it doesn’t mean you haven’t evolved. Who you WERE was perfect then. Who you ARE is perfect NOW.
This week, Dana talks about relationships. She shares her perspective on being in intentional relationships vs accidental ones. She shares her thoughts on how we can ALL grow when when we CHOOSE to show up 100% for ourselves and our partners. Instead of turning to your relationship to “fix” or “heal” you, she suggests doing the inner work FIRST, then showing up and fully committing to your partner.
Only the container of the relationship can hold you and your partner’s vision. Why not CHOOSE your vision? Otherwise you become a tumbleweed - blown in the direction of society, Instagram and movie “ideals” to determine what your relationship should look like. Yikes!
This week Dana shares about finding your alignment and igniting your inner light. She talks about how prioritizing yourself can ultimately benefit not only your wellbeing, but also the output you create in this world.
She offers a simple set of questions to ask yourself to connect to who you are BEING that has created your reality. When you pause and tune in, you can recognize the receptive thoughts, emotions and actions that you take. With this awareness, you can consciously choose your alignment and inner light.
In this episode, Dana shares her unique take on recapping 2019 and planning for 2020. She feels too much pressureto be better and constantly improve.
She shares an excerpt from a Q&A with her Inner Voice. This session helped her realize that you don’t have to do something just because everyone else is.
She invites you to step into YOU in 2020. How can you stop letting external expectations dictate YOUR path? What if you made 2020 the year of YOU?
This is Dana’s last episode of 2019! She is taking a break and will be back with a new episode on January 8. With that intention, she invites you to honor the pause in your life as well. How can you carve out 5 minutes each morning for YOU. What becomes possible when you prioritize the PAUSE in your life, so you can ALIGN your energy before catering to others? Dana also invites you to join the ALIGN IN 5 Membership, which starts in January. This membership helps you find physical, mental and emotional alignment by tuning IN to your Inner Voice so you can start doing what’s RIGHT for you, not what’s expected of you. She shares her own experience during this particular cycle, and her desire to spend a lot of time in quiet reflection. Additionally, she offers some simple and effective questions that you can contemplate. Ultimately, Dana asks you to consider: Can you really grow if you don’t slow down to look at your life and decide what’s working and what isn’t? She reminds us that it is NOT about being perfect, rather about enjoying the ride of being a human! Less judgement, more compassion is what we ALL need. As the witness, you are acting from your Inner Voice, not your Inner Critic.
