Welcome to the Asoluka Podcast, hosted by Chidi Asoluka, an English teacher and class dean in New York City. Each week, we deep dive into the broad world of "education" and unpack the ways in which educators and students of color survived and thrived in these spaces.
My good friend Chanel Duncan is a modern-day renaissance bad-ass woman. Ever since I met her in college, she has been doing the damn thing! As a former Army officer, she is currently a corporate professional, yoga teacher, weekend hiker, and a dedicated storyteller. We talk about her journey to find peace, how she fights fear, and how to hold space for one another.
