Should I stay or should I go?
Many people with faith backgrounds are asking themselves these questions the older they get, and the more the world around them changes and challenges their faith. Today, a friend of the show and outstanding human, Natalie Runion offers a much-needed conversation.
Pastor’s kid turned pastor, Natalie, her husband Tony and their two daughters live in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she served as a pastor of women and a worship pastor. In her twenty years of ministry as a worship leader, songwriter, and pastor, Natalie has served various organizations and ministries across the country.
In 2019 after watching many of her peers walk away from the church and their faith, Natalie began Raised to Stay, a ministry for those who have wandered, wondered, and wrestled with the Church and the challenges of full-time ministry. Known for her black boxes of hard truth on social media for the Church and church leaders, her heart is to see a generation finish their race as they partner with a good Father who is faithful to complete the work He began in each of us.
Natalie is a sought-after speaker and writer in the local and global Church, writing for She Reads Truth and other Christian publications. Her debut book, Raised to Stay, published with David C Cook will be available in Summer 2023! You can learn more about Raised to Stay on Instagram at @raisedtostay and preorder her book on Amazon and other major retailers.

“Disappointment bruises the bravest of souls. The nagging ache of uncertainty causes us to grow weary and afraid to hope. Doubt entices us to wonder if God is good when life is not. Yet, our hard questions can become opportunities for Jesus to show us who He is.”
On this powerful episode of Shut the Should Up, Candace and Jenny invite Angela Donadio for an incredible discussion on being brave in every moment that matters.
In Angela's book, Brave Enough To Believe, she speaks of her two near-death experiences and what God did through them.
About the Authors:
Angela Donadio is an author, speaker, and host of the Make Life Matter Podcast.
A seasoned Bible teacher and ordained minister, she empowers women in Africa
and serves alongside her husband, Dale, to lead a multiethnic church. She is a
survivor of two near-death health crises, a grateful mom, and an adventure junkie.

Hubert Morris, an ordained minister for more than 50 years, has served as a
pastor, presbyter, and university vice-president. He has taken the gospel to Africa,
China, Haiti, and Sri Lanka, and is currently the president of Assist Ministries, Inc.
Married to Glenda for 59 years, they are blessed with three daughters and ten
grandchildren.
About the Book:
Discover Jesus’ invitation to come closer when doubt drives us away.
Disappointment bruises the bravest of souls. The nagging ache of uncertainty
causes us to grow weary and afraid to hope. Doubt entices us to wonder if God is
good when life is not. Yet, our hard questions can become opportunities for Jesus
to show us who He is.
Perhaps you know Thomas for his bouts with doubt. But Jesus knew Thomas for
the courage to question and the bravery to believe. When a crisis of faith revealed
his deepest doubts, Jesus met Thomas’s deepest longings.
The authors bring two unique perspectives to flip the script on the story of
Thomas. Whether you are a seeker, skeptic, or seasoned leader, you will learn
to live untangled from uncertainty, leverage adversity, and lead with confidence
through challenging circumstances.
Thomas exchanged his uncertainty for a life of tenacious faith. When we encounter
Jesus, we can too.

In this raw and vulnerable conversation, Candace shares her personal story of revival.
"When you testify of something that's been brought back to life, you're reminded that it's living."
- Candace Payne
In this revival story, Candace Payne + Jenny Randle consider how the momentum and movement of a revival begins in the abandon of production and performance to provoke the presence of God.
As Candace + Jenny continue the conversation on revival, the topic of reverence rises to the top.
What is sacred?
How do we ditch irreverence and know the difference between cynicism and discernment when we see a move of God?
In this revival story, dry out the wet blankets and activate hope for the restoration, renewal, and resurrection of dreams, moments, and opportunities to see God move in powerful ways.

In this episode of Shut the Should Up with Candace Panye and Jenny Randle, we’re talking to Bible teacher and best-selling author Lisa Whittle. She wrote in her most recent book The Hard Good, “We can acknowledge that a leader is flawed and also acknowledge that God has used them - and be grateful opening your heart again when it’s been hurt for that. One does not nullify the other. Being wise in holding this tension can be difficult, but pretending one or the other isn’t true is devastating.” So today, we’re holding that tension together and having a hard conversation about spiritual abuse.
