I realize that this is not a podcast. I have been recently researching Borderline Personality Disorder. It is a tragic situation to be in and there is so much information out there from those who are critical of people who struggle with this. There is so much online contempt for these people and I wanted to share someone who explained so well what their daily nightmare is like. I thought about speaking about it myself but the poor girl says more than I ever could.
Once you realize what actually happens in these peoples lives you know how badly abandonment and the need for attention keep them in constant fear. Their means of dealing with it can be taken totally wrong and being critical only makes their pain much worse. It is so easy to do if you don't know what they are dealing with inside. Instead love them. Be there if they want you. Be absent when they want that too. It's not easy but they know it and they don't like it either.

Here are my thoughts and suggestions on driving from Maine to Florida. Routes, philosophies, what I encounter and what you probably can expect. I do it differently than most but after making this trip over 20 times and trying various methods, this one seems to be the best for me.

During this podcast I talk about online dating and the air disaster at Tenerife airport in 1977. I wasn't sure of the aircraft involved and I mistakenly thought one was an American Airlines jet. It was not. The planes were KLM Flight 4805 and Pan Am Flight 1736, both 747's.
