Here at Horkey HQ we had the opportunity to chat with Jill Mohler, a Virtual Assistant and a student of our #FullyBookedVA System!

Jill is a native Ohioan and also a resident of South Florida for over 30 years. She served in the Ohio Air National Guard for 8 years, then married, moved to Florida, had 2 kids, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Sales and Marketing.

Like most people, when COVID-19 reared its ugly head, her hours and pay were reduced dramatically, which lead to her decision to start her very own online business.

Jill is super-charged (and maybe a bit obsessive) about health and fitness; she loves animals, especially dogs (her puppy's name is Daisy); and her favorite breakfast is eggs over easy with avocado.

Today we’ll be chatting with a very successful online entrepreneur, Alexis Grant.

Alexis (Lexi) is a media innovator with a passion for building online businesses and growing audiences. She started her career as a reporter at the Houston Chronicle and U.S. News & World Report, then grew a content marketing agency. After five years, that business was acquired in 2015 by a media company called The Penny Hoarder.

Alexis joined as the third employee and worked alongside the founder as EVP of Content to grow the company to 100+ employees. She left that role in 2019 for a less stressful lifestyle and moved her family to a mountain town in West Virginia. Alexis now helps startups scale their writing team in a consulting capacity while running several online businesses, including a website for writers, The Write Life. Her next venture has an in-person angle (COVID permitting): she’s organizing deep think getaways or “workcations” for professional women.

Joe is the founder and president of Dyton Writing & Editing, a content creation and editing company. Today we’ll be chatting with a very successful online entrepreneur, Alyssa Lang.

Alyssa, aka the Workflow Queen, teaches bookkeepers and accountants how to utilize tech and automation to create better workflows, systems and processes. As a result they can run their practices on autopilot, stress less and save time!

After being in the accounting world for five years, Alyssa struggled with streamlining her practice.
