Alex and Dietz are members of the antinatalist organization, StopHavingKids.org. Antinatalism is, put simply, the philosophy that having children is immoral, which is something I could not disagree with more.
The idea has always fascinated me because I could never wrap my head around why someone would think this way, so I was excited to speak with them for that challenge. I don't think any minds were changed, unfortunately, but it was a great exercise in having conversations with opposing view points - in this case, totally opposite ends of the spectrum, with very little, if any, middle ground.
I appreciate them coming on and hope the best for them.
