Planet Women

40 Episodes

The Heretaunga Women's Centre started off in 1987 when the Hastings Resource Group was established to support women in need. There was a name-change to the present Heretaunga Women's Centre in 1991. They are a non-profit volunteer-based organisation, and provide support and services for women to attend a wide variety of courses and activities, access help and information, and have a place to feel safe, enjoy a cuppa and meet new friends. Women can drop in for any reason; Centre personnel genuinely care and do their best to listen, refer and help while remaining professional.

If you know someone or would like to share your own story, the girls would love to hear from you. They can be contacted through the Heretaunga Women's Centre on 06-878-5401, or Radio Kidnappers.
