God's timing is not arbitray or capricious. It is purposeful and intentional.
In our fast pace, instant gratification society; getting on the same page with God's timing can be challenging. That is exactly why we must humbly submit to and accept His will. It is only then we can rest assured that God will exalt us in due time.
What does it mean to have integrity? This is a question all of us will have an answer.
We tend to know the right action to take when we observe someone else's actions; especially those in leadership positions. Do you consider yourself to be an honorable person? I'm sure if we asked Ghazi if he was trustworthy he would answer "of course", he might even be offended by the question.
One of the things I enjoy most about the bible is when God takes me behind the veil, as if you are parachuting down into an active situation. These situations are training exercises for us. We learn how to apply our faith, how to be courageous, patience, and much more!
Naaman is a mighty warrior. He has been victorious in battles; not only in military prowess, but because Jehovah has given him the victory! He doesn't know this when he first arrives to Elisha's house, but after he is obedient to God Naaman will know there is no God but Jehovah in all the earth!
The book of Proverbs is mostly about skillful living and discipline. Men and women who are godly, should be disciplined people. This doesn't mean we are perfect, it means we are striving for perfection.
Paul establishes an important principle. When we are born again and have believed on Jesus for our salvation, our relationship with sin is permanently changed. We have died to sin. Therefore, if we have died to sin, then we should not live any longer in it. So let us enjoy a life "free from sin."
Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to free us from sin. Please understand that the HolyGhost is real. Power over sin is real. Never think anyone is beyond saving because it is God's decision to make, not ours.
Grace abounds to save us from sin, not so we can continue living in sin. Grab a hold of God's grace and don't let go! You are free from sin.
Even in these dark times our God is still a deliverer. In this Psalm, the people are rejoicing because their God has delivered them. Let's celebrate! To the utmost Jesus saves!
There is so much wwe can learn from the lives of God's people. We could learn that everything is not always going to go our way. Behind every lesson there is a blessing.
Jacob was left alone and was visited by a man who wrestled with him all night until day break. He didn't let the man go until he blessed him. Get alone with God and don't let Him go until He blesses you!
God has been and will always be a safe place for His people. This is not just a thought or premonition. It is real. He protects and empowers the Saints. Inside the sanctuary there is love, peace, safety, and salvation.
We love praising God and He loves for us to praise Him. There is no God like Jesus! All other gods are made by men. Our God is the founder and creator of the universe.
The Psalmist is telling everyone to praise the Lord! It is at the place of unity and praise, God will command the blessing. Praise the Lord because you are alive another day! Your victory is in your PRAISE!
Even in the hardest test or trial we face during our journey in this dispensation, the word of God reminds us that we must have patience to go through the moments of pain and discomfort. No one is exempt from the trials of life. However, we can find peace and joy in the HolyGhost. The HolyGhost will lead and guide you even on your worst day. Remember, weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Think about how big the entire industry of security is. People spend lots of money to secure their privacy, assets and physical well being. None of these things are more valuable than our souls and we secure our souls through the HolyGhost.
What is an "abundance mindset?" It is a spiritual awakening that occurs when we realize God is not overly concerned with the physical circumstances of our lives but more concerned about our spiritual growth. He assures us that we should not worry about what we will eat drink or wear.
King Solomon had all the material blessings available to any man or woman in his day. Yet he found it all to be vain and meaningless. Finally, a truly abundant life consists of an abundance of love, peace, and joy in the HolyGhost.
God does not want His children operating with a spirit of lack or scarcity. Instead, He wants us to have a mindset of abundance which means more than enough. Understanding that whatever we need, God has it in surplus.
Never lose sight of the fact there is only one God. The same God that brought the children of Israel out of Egypt is the same God that will pull you out of sin and sustain you.
My God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God's word will never fail us. He has laid everything out for us explaining to us how to be a good friend. God is even patient enough to allow us to grow. When we cultivate a relationship, we need to exercise patience and be accountable.
The promises of God are yea and amen! When we trust God, miracles happen. Obedience is the key to bring our promises to pass.
Wisdom cries out in the street, but people don't want to listen. If you take the time to look areound you will find that most humans have lost their moral compass. People will be offended if you tell them they can live a life without sin. "Why would I want to do that?" This is a response you may receive. Many would gladly take a life of earthly richness over eternity with God.
It's our job as disciples to proclaim the gospel and prayerfully sinners will seek forgiveness. Thirst for salvation and find it like a buried treasure. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
There are so many situations that God use to draw us in closer to Him. The word of God tells us all things work together for the good of them who love God and are called according to His purpose. A broken spirit and a contrite heart, is a critical part of that process.
In the Lord's prayer, Jesus says, "Thy kingdomm come." This parable of the net is literally that. This net is going through the church like a net goes through the ocean.
The net is full of different types of people, bond and free, rich and poor, saints and sinners. The good news is our redeemer lives! We must be ready when He comes.

Where do you seek help when you perceive trouble is near? The writer is infusing us with confidence as they boast about God's greatness, faithfulness, and securtiy.

The apostle Paul specifically tells us not to give grudgingly, out of necessity or due to pressure from others. We know it all belongs to God. We appreciate whatever He entrusts to us.
We all have faith in something. What is your faith in? Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Faith is not just for the Pastor's and leaders of the church...it is for us all!

Someone said years ago, "variety is the spice of life." There's a reason why it's so many different flavors of ice cream, so many different cereal boxes when you walk inside the grocery store. We all have different taste and different personalities.

No matter how much education we have, Jesus is showing us that true wisdom begins and ends with God.
Jesus wants us to have a heart after Him; don't just seek for a sign. He wants us to be enlighten on a deeper level. You can only discern the signs of the times in the spirit.
As ambassadors for Christ, we are in the business of helping others. If you are sincere about helping others you will not have to look very far. There's a family in your neighborhood or church that needs assistance or just a pat on the back or prayer.
When we pour out God's love on those in our communities it will manifest hope. People will be blessed and encouraged. They will be hopeful about their situation. Some will even repent and receive Jesus Christ into their hearts. Isn't this is what it's all about?
Solomon was the richest and wisest person to ever live. Yahweh gave him wisdom and great wealth. He set out to find fulfillment apart from God. After he had partaken in all sorts of delectable delights Solomon said whatever he desired to do he did it. He realized it was all vanity, in other words, he felt empty and unfulfilled.
We must never forget, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Put God first and He will not let you down.
Throughout our busy lives full of hustle and bustle it's important that we remember Jesus is our help. In Psalm 20 we have what is essentially a war cry. David is praying for the men as they prepare for battle. The King of Israel cries out for protection from the King of Kings.
It is true we must have good work ethics, be kind, considerate, and very courageous. Yet we must trust God with the results as it is all in His hands.
How do you define wealth? Let me tell you that wealth according to God's standards can't be quantified by Forbes magazine. God's word encourages us to lay up our treasures in heaven where moths and dust will not decay it and thieves can't steal it. So trust Jesus with all your heart, all your plans, hopes and dreams. He will not let you down.
Here we are in the final chapter in the book of Ruth. God shows up and shows out. Boaz follows through with his promise and redeems the land for Naomi and takes Ruth as his wife.
There's something to be said for perseverance and endurance. When we trust God there is redemption in this life.
We make decisions everyday without thinking about how they impact generations. Here we have the benefit of knowing the entire story.
Most of the time actually walking life out is hard, but reading about how Boaz and Ruth handled their courtship with so much class and grace is inspiring. God's divine destiny is being manifested.
This chapter is a confirmation that our life is in God's hand. Ruth and Naomi show us how much God can bless us. He will turn our lives around when we patiently and faithfully commit our lives to God.
We all make hundreds of choices daily. What to eat and what to wear; some big and some small. After Naomi's husband and sons died, Ruth decided to stay with Naomi and leave her home town and her people.
But what cost would this decision pan out? Would she find peace in Bethlehem?
How much are you willing to inconvenience yourself for a stranger? Most of us would barely go "out of our way" for a friend or family member. Yet when asked a question regarding eternal life and who is my neighbor; Jesus responds with a story filled with danger, indifference and a compassionate hero.
Do you see yourself in this parable?
We serve a jealous God. He will never tolerate us having anyone or anything hold a more prominent place in our hearts than Himself.
God has given us Bishops, Pastors and other anointed church leaders to feed us His word. However, none is to ever take His place or will ever be on His level. Follow Jesus only.
Isaiah was known as the "Eagle Eye Prophet" because he could elevate high up in the spirit of God and see everything from a bird's eye view. Isaiah 53 is no exception. God used him prophetically.
He saw Jesus being despised and counted low when He came to earth as a sacrifice for all mankind. We give God thanks and praise for His amazing grace for the invitation to salvation. Jesus Christ gave us this through the cross. The choice is yours; choose Jesus today.
Prayer is an action word. As we make our petition made known to God, we must believe He hears us and considers our prayer.
King David is making his petition for God's help. Seek God's grace and His salvation. Effective prayer begins with commitment so call on God and He will answer.
Do you know what God is requiring of you? This is one of many questions Christians should be able to answer. The next question, what are we willing to let go of to meet those requirements?
Jesus is requiring a sacrifice for you and me. There's no way around it. Come out from among them and be ye separated.
Will you be ready when Jesus come? This is the question we should ask ourselves first, then subsequently, everyone else we are led to by God as a witness.
In these end times, mankind all over the globe are being bombarded with the pressures of life. As God's chosen people, it's our mandate to remind each other not to forget God. Proclaim the gospel to a dying lost world.
We all need to understand that we are a part of God's plan. It is imperative that we do our part. God chose our parents for us and we didn't have a say in the matter.
If God has planted you in a church, on a job or in a particular situation; it's for a reason. Bloom where God planted you in Jesus name!
Once Jesus returned to Nazareth from fasting 40 days and nights in the wilderness, His purpose re-emerged in the public eye. Here we read about the beginning of Christ's earthly ministry. God is showing us it's never easy to set people free especially when they don't know they're being held captive.
The bible says, let a man examine himself to see whether he is in the faith. Just as we look into a mirror to check out our natural appearance. How much more should we be careful to walk in humility and now allow pride to swell up after God has blessed us and brought us through the fire.
There comes a time in all of our lives when we have to know who and whose we are.
By the leading of the Holy Ghost, Peter reminds us all what Jesus did for us and what He demands of us all.
The power of the Holy Ghost is an undeniable force that God has made available for everyone on earth.
It's a sad fact that everyone just will not put their trust in God and receive the Holy Ghost. We all need it more than we need our next meal. The Holy Ghost is an amazing and essential gift. Receive ye the Holy Ghost!
It is important for us to never lose sight that we serve the one and only God of the universe. He created everything for His own pleasure. It is His good pleasure to keep His children safe.
Psalm 121 teaches us to stay focused on our mission. Christ is our protection and our salvation.
In this journey called life there will be highs and lows, good times and bad times. The rough times are often referred to as storms.
Storms will rise even when we are inside of God's will no one is exempt. God wants us to keep the faith and not doubt Him.
This parable give us more insight to God's patience and love for His church. It shows how deeply concerned He is about losing anyone to the eternal fire of hell.
Let's show patience, love and kindness towards one another. Remember, God sees everything and He has a plan for us all.
God is faithful. That one statement is so simple and true. David is again reminding us of God's commitment to His church. David identifies himself as a man with much life experiences then gives us his testimony.
God's word tell us to examine ourselves to see if we are living by faith. What does that mean? It simply means we are trusting God even when we don't understand it.
Having enough faith to take Him at His word. Let's take Jesus at His word.
If you could ask God for anything what would it be? David said that he would ask to, "Dwell in His house and inquire in His temple."
God called David a man after His heart. In spite of everything he went through his passion for God did not waiver.
God is the author and finisher of our story. The bible tells us that our life is like a vapor. We are here on earth for a short time then we are gone.
Have you ever felt like it's too late for you to reach your full potential? God is not finished with us. As long as we are still breathing, do not lose faith. What God has for you is for you!
We all experience obstacles in our lives. How you confront and overcome them is what's important. Many times David had to adapt and overcome.
Never forget your victory has been bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ. If you ever find yourself knocked down or off track, you can get back on track because God IS with you. It's His good pleasure to bring you through the fire like pure gold.
The work God did on the cross is irreversible. From the Sunday morning He arose until this very day; there is an open invitation to all humanity. There is room at the foot of the cross for you.
Because He lives we can keep going and keep the faith.
As we bring this series to a close, Jude sends us out on a high note. After explaining to the church what we need to lookout for and how our enemies have already put themselves in position all around us in the church.
Jude is short and to the point. He turns our focus back to building up ourselves and our relationship with God. This closing doxology should be in the De Young Museum.
Thank you Jesus for episode 50! In Jude's letter to the church, He warns us about ungodliness, false teachers who boast about themselves and flatter others to gain an opportunity for advantage over them.
The good news is we are not without hope! We speak life.
The saga continues as we dive deeper into the book of Jude. We read more about these rebellious wolves in sheep's clothes who despise God's legitimate church leaders.
Beware of anyone who profess to be a follower of Christ but is involved in any type of rebellion open or in secret. When Jesus calls us to minister, it is not a popularity contest. So let's walk in His righteousness and not our own.
We begin a three part series in the book of Jude. He warns us against false prophets and instructs us to defend the faith. As any good evangelist should, he reminds us of what we already know. Then tells us again. Buckle your seat belts we are going for a ride through Jude.
God is love and He loves everyone. At the same time He hates sin. We must never fall into the trap that there are separate rules for the people of God or "church folks", we must abide by the word of God too.
The Apostle Paul warned Timothy of these wolves in sheep's clothing. Men who are covetous, boasters, unthankful and unholy. Still they testify they love God but their hearts are far from God. That's why we follow Jesus Christ. He is the only true living God.
We live in a world of constant change. Some say if you don't adapt, you will be left behind. From laws to global warming to technology, we must stay informed and up to date.
Its a great to know that the God we serve does not change. He still have plans for us from the beginning. Plans to bring sinners to repentance and to use His church as a vehicle to get them there.
The foundation our Lord laid for us is solid. Jesus paid a debt we could not pay. Salvation is a gift receive it and walk in it. He is the Rock of y salvation oh yes He is!

Jezebel's children are still trying to kill your influence and assault your character. The spirit of Jezebel does this through false witness and a lynch mob mentality. Thanks be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He is our advocate. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
God loves His people. He expects leaders that He appoint over His people to love them as well. This didn't happen in the case of King Ahab and his wife Jezebel. Not only did they not love and care for the house of Israel; they oppressed, abused, murdered, and led them astray to idol worship.
God sent a prophecy through Elisha to anoint Jehu as king. Following the specific instruction of God can change the course of lives, kingdoms, and destiny.
Don't miss your moment. In II Kings Ch. 2, God already sent His word out. Elijah's work here on earth is completed. Elijah would be whisked away in a whirlwind in a chariot of fire! His protege, Elisha was ready as he studied closely under the man of God. When the mantle fell, he caught it and ran with it. Will you be ready when our Lord and Savior calls you? "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" is one of the Ten Commandments. The God of Israel strictly prohibited the children of Israel from worshipping any other god or gods. So when King Ahab led the whole house of Israel astray, he forced God's hand. The Lord sent prophet Elijah to rectify the problem.
Jesus Christ loves us so much that He will send someone to you in order to guide you to the good path. I implore you to return or stay on the good path. Who's side are you on?
Fruit gives nourishment, what we need to sustain life. We first have to partake of the fruit of the spirit through Jesus Christ. After that we can begin to cultivate that fruit in our lives. Then we can encourage others to "taste and see" how sweet the fruit of the spirit is.

His love is so strong that it will turn our lives around. We just need to get connected. Once you experience the love of God for yourself, then you can share it with the whole world. Putting anything in the place of God will cause calamity and misfortune. God had a prepared place for the Israelites, the Promise Land. Due to idol worship, disobedience, unbelief, being haughty and stubborn a whole generation did not receive the promise. Yes, we are not to make images of wood, silver, gold or metal to worship. However, we often fall short when we put ourselves, career, people, money and assets before God when He specifically instructs us to have no other god before Him.
The veil was torn from top to bottom. Now we have direct access to Jesus Christ by the power of His resurrection! Have you ever thought about what you would do for love? Well, after the sacrifice God made for you and I, there should be no doubt that He is the "Ultimate" sacrifice. My God!
Why did God implement the offering of sacrifices? After Adam and Eve was beguiled by satan, they were exiled from the Garden of Eden. All of mankind was separated from God's presence. God, in His infinite wisdom already had a plan in place for us to return to Him. Bro. Ed also yields a few thoughts about our current events.
Power has many connotations. Is there any power in patience? The answer is yes. Patience can be developed through hard times, hard tests and hard trials. Most of us do not welcome it. Sometimes waiting can be a difficult task. But when we stand still, we will see the salvation of the Lord. Destiny can be determined through our patience. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ told us in Luke 21:19, "In your patience possess ye your souls."
"I just want God's will to be done in my life." If you have spent any significant time in church or around church. You've heard this phrase and possibly said it yourself. In this episode we are going to talk about Jeremiah, a man God anointed in the prophetic before he was born.
