Today Leon had a chat with Clemens Neumann. He has taken over a volunteer role at Nightline - a telephone service that helps students to cope with personal issues. We talked about ways of giving feedback by taking over a "therapist"-like approach and explored approaches to handle the "lockdown-loneliness" for students.

Being inspired by his love of sailing and some interesting life experiences, Henry created a venture that combines his passion with a solid business need. As a co-founder of Metarina, Henry is working on disrupting and digitalising the way that marinas operate, bringing a better experience to both customers and marina staff. During our conversation with Henry, we got to learn about his story, including his CEMS journey, as well as his experiences on studying entrepreneurship while working on his venture at the same time.

Sustainability and ethical sourcing are some of the key issues in the fashion business. Matthias Kappeler, a CEMS student from NOVA SBE, set out to challenge the fashion industry with his sustainable venture "Clothing Revolution".

Florence Gillette, the Head of the Delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross and CEMS Alumna of the Year, joined us for a chat about her professional journey.
She began her career in financial positions at P&G performing in multiple roles for several years and then transitioned to Hallmark as Finance & Admin Director. She eventually transitioned away from a financial career towards a professional endeavour dedicated to the commitment of helping others in need which has resulted in a very impressive path at the International Committee of the Red Cross for nearly thirteen years.
Her time at the Red Cross gave her the opportunity to travel the globe performing roles in various places such as the Ukraine, Sudan, the Philippines, Pakistan and many others, all demonstrating the extent of Florence's commitment towards the betterment of people no matter the location.
This year the CEMS Course of the Year award went to Jaap Boonstra's Global Leadership Course. We talk about his achievement, the role that "water" has played in his life and how we can improve our capacity to manage uncertainty.
