We're back again with Scottish Dance Theatre to speak to them about their production of TuTuMucky by choreographer Botis Seva. In this conversation, Matilda chats with Scottish Dance Theatre company dancer Jessie Roberts-Smith who was part of the original creation process. Jessie talks about the way dancers think about resistance and tension in their bodies which builds into an explosive release, she tells us what the piece celebrates and let's us know what audiences can expect to take away from the experience.

In this last episode of Season 1 of HSKPOD, Tammy interviewed Janet Smith (previous artistic director of Scottish Dance Theatre and Principal of Northern School of Contemporary Dance), during the first lockdown in the UK 2020. Tammy and Janet speak about Janet´s first encounters and experiences with dance and about predictions and wishes for the future of the arts. In this episode Matilda talks with interdisciplinary artist Imogen Mansfield about her journey as an artist and how she came into using film and photography as some of her primary mediums. We also talk about managing social media and the limitations we put on creativity when we categorise ‘good’ and ‘bad’ art.

Discussing their piece "So Long, and Slender" (SLAS); that will be presented on the "Resolution Platform 2020" in London. Chatting about ideas and processes behind their ever evolving piece, as well as trying to define the success-recipe of their co-creator duo relationship.

Discussing her life, ideas, processes and what the work-climate is as an emerging independent choreographer/artist. Talking about her new work "Aize Balagan" that will be presented on the "Resolution Platform 2020" in London.
