SLAPcast is a weekly Premier League podcast hosted by Gage, Josh, Reese and Ethan. SLAP is the acronym for the clubs we support (Spurs, Leicester, Arsenal and Palace respectively). We meet weekly and discuss the week gone by in the Premier League. You can find us on Twitter and Instagram @SLAPcastPL.
In partnership with the Manifest Media Podcast Network. Visit manifestmedia.info for more information.
The SLAPcast crew has dusted off the old microphones and rejoined the recording studio after being away for months! We may not have covered the last few months of Premier League action but we have been watching every second, so tune-in to our end-of-season review to hear our ramblings on each team and our tradition SLAP awards!
In this episode, the guys band together in the face of Josh's absence to outline their Chumps and Champs from the weekend in the Premier League. Some had a great weekend, while others exhibited behavior that was strikingly chump-like. The guys also went on to discuss such talking points as Jürgen Klopp's impact on the Premier League, Spurs' newfound problem defending set pieces, Roy Hodgson officially losing the plot, and Arsenal earning a surprisingly comprehensive victory over the league leaders.
In this episode, the guys discuss the second half of the staggered winter break fixtures, as well as pick their Team of the Season so far in the Premier League. The guys also put together a secondary XI composed of players who they feel have gone under the radar so far this season.
In this episode, the guys are back to review the limited Premier League action in the first half of the winter break. Gage puts the guys to the test with a Premier League quiz revolving around events in 2023.
In this episode, the guys put a whimsical twist on the mystery segment and create their Starting XIs from Super Mario characters, debating the merits of their choices. Then, they take a holistic approach to analyzing the state of various clubs after the Christmas period.
In this episode of SLAPcast, the guys come together to review Premier League Matchweeks 15 & 16. Midweek action and weekend games yielded some shock results and some returns to form.
In this episode, the guys take a look at the Euro 2024 group draw before reviewing the weekend's action in the Premier League.
Gage, Reese and Ethan discuss some of the most bonkers signings they have seen over the years as well as Matchweek 11 of the Premier League with the North London clubs receiving their first loss, Man City and their new star, Doku, and a typical Roy Hodgson win against the struggling Burnley
In this episode, the guys relive some of their scariest times as fans of the Premier League before reviewing the action from the spookiest weekend of the year.
In this episode of SLAPcast, Gage makes his not-so-valiant return to the fray at the expense of Josh. The guys go over their top 5 all-time Premier League players for each of their clubs before reviewing Everton's possible point deduction, whether Bournemouth should sack Andoni Iraola, and all the action from the weekend.
We take a trip down memory lane as many events that have transpired over the weeks have made us feel old. Retirements, year long records being broken, the whole shebang. Other than that we've got a Matchweek 8 review that had plenty to discuss so don't miss it!!
Also... Where's Gage??
In this episode, a berserk Gage is joined by cooler heads Josh, Reese, and Ethan. In the aftermath of Spurs' crazy and controversial win over Liverpool on Saturday, the guys break down the events of the subsequent days and discuss what could be done to fix the state of refereeing/VAR in England. The guys also put forward some of the worst refereeing decisions they've witnessed in recent years, as well as analyzed victories for Luton, Arsenal, Palace, and Leicester (we finally broke the curse!) and defeats for both Manchester clubs.
This week, the guys go back to their Bob The Builder roots and built a North London combined starting eleven based on performances this season. Also featuring a full review of the North London Derby, a Crystal Palace tirade, a "who is worse?" challenge between Luton and Wolves, and the 8-0 slobber knocker that took place between Newcastle and Sheffield United.
Join the guys for an episode that, like Gage, is a bit on the shorter side (sorry man). We discussed a few of the fixtures involving our teams from Matchweek 5 as well as the big news from around the Premier League. This episode also sees the return of the much beloved quiz segment that used to be an episode regular.
Join the guys for another episode of SLAPcast—this time, they review the events of deadline day, and evaluate the window had by the Premier League's biggest clubs. Was Kai Havertz a waste of money? Is James Maddison the signing of the summer? Find out on the latest episode of SLAPcast.
Join Gage, Josh, Reese, and Ethan for another episode of SLAPcast's coverage of the 2023/24 Season, this time looking at all things Matchweek 3, as well as some of the worst pieces of business conducted in the Premier League in recent years.
Join Gage, Josh, Reese, and Ethan for a look at the final week of the transfer window—what business could be done? What do the league's biggest clubs need?
Additionally, the guys convene to break down action from Matchweek 2 in the Premier League. Man United's transition from unlucky breaks to looking listless, Tottenham's newfound identity. Unai Emery's tactical profile and why Villa are seeing such wild swings in results. These and more are discussed on today's episode!
Join Gage, Reese, and Ethan for a foray into the 2023/24 Premier League Season's inaugural fixtures. Find out who's a champ and who's a chump from the weekend's action. Enjoy a length discussion on the transfer of Moises Caicedo, Arsenal's newfound issues at full back, Sandro Tonali's surprisinigly advanced role for Newcastle, and some noticeable successes and failures of Postecoglou's first game in charge at Spurs.
SLAPcast is back for FIFTH season! In this episode, Gage is joined by Reese, Ethan, and birthday boy Josh to discuss our projections and conjectures for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Strap yourselves in for two and a half hours of absolutely nuclear takes on clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham, and others.
In the Season 4 Finale of SLAPcast, now-mustachioed Gage is joined by new college graduates Reese and Ethan and newlywed Josh to review the big picture from the 2022–23 Premier League season. The guys catch up on life before giving each Premier League club a letter grade for their season and giving out the prestigious and coveted SLAP Awards.

Welcome to SLAPcast Season 4! The guys are absolutely ecstatic to bring you the first episode of coverage for the 2022/23 Premier League season.
Gage is joined by Reese and Ethan to run down our predicted Premier League tables from 20-1. Who will get relegated? Who will qualify for the Champions League? What is going on at Leicester City Football Club?
We stop for a moment to discuss the outlook of each club, as well as some key points that helped us arrive at our decision. There is no shortage of hot takes, while Reese and Gage enGAGE (haha, get it?) in a heated debate about which North London club has a better outlook on the season just before deciding to be friends again and breaking down the tactical intrigue surrounding Arsenal's defense.
There is no shortage of analysis from Ethan either, who provides good context on Crystal Palace's season, as well as key points for the relegation battle, Chelsea possibly missing out on top four and much much more.
Josh is absent from this particular episode but he WILL board the Season 4 train very soon. Additionally, Producer Chris is now onboard for his first full season with SLAPcast as well.

SLAPcast is so pleased to announce that we have joined the Manifest Media Podcast Network! This is our first episode fully affiliated with Manifest Media, and we couldn't be more excited to get started. Friend of the show and now partner and producer Chris Kuchar is going to be headmanning the new effort along with the regular panel of Gage, Josh, Reese and Ethan.
Those four are back together again this week to discuss all the key events from the Premier League this weekend. Norwich are relegated (and Watford are nearly there) while Burnley and Everton have breathed life back into their seasons again. Spurs and Arsenal pick up 3 points in their respective must-win games, and Leicester's fight in the Conference League still goes on. Crystal Palace also attained a great result this weekend as Ethan receives reprieve from the recent stagnation of Palace's season. The guys also take a moment to celebrate the Stars reaching the NHL Playoffs (and avoiding the Avalanche in the First Round).

In a week where Josh decides to take a sabbatical, Gage is joined by Reese and Ethan to discuss all things Matchweek 34, which primarily entails a fiery discussion on the race for Top 4. Reese revels in Arsenal's success while Gage wallows in Tottenham's misery, and Ethan is left with a few snoozefest games to break down. This week's game of the week was Chelsea 1-0 West Ham, which gets intertwined heavily in the Top 4 discussion. This episode also features the timely return of the quiz as Gage puts the guys to the sword on the 16 players inducted thus far into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
Next week's game of the week is the crucial relegation battle between Watford and Burnley at Vicarage Road. Next week's pod (May 2) will also involve the biggest announcement in SLAPcast history, so make sure to be tuned in!

Special thanks to Magpie Jay this week for their continued support of SLAPcast. We're delighted to keep working with them.
Gage, Josh, Reese and Ethan are back together again to discuss FA Cup and Premier League action from the weekend, but first three of the guys found a new religion and witness an extraordinary outburst from Josh. The guys also reveal that there will be a big announcement for the podcast coming May 2.
Intro/Outro: "A Haze"
In this episode, the full, guestless panel meets again to discuss the week gone by in the Premier League. First, though, plenty of shenanigans on topics such as live music, chicken sludge and fast food. Crucial matches from the week such as Arsenal-Brighton, Villa-Spurs, Palace-Leicester and City-Liverpool are all discussed ad nauseam as well.
Intro/Outro Music: "A Haze" by Magpie Jay
In this episode of SLAPcast, the full contingent of Gage, Josh, Reese and Ethan are joined again by friend and supporter of the show Chris Kuchar (the man behind Manifest Media) to discuss the U.S. National Team qualifying for Qatar 2022 and the most recent round of matches in the Premier League. Chris also gives his view on the situation at Chelsea. Reese and Ethan are forced to do a bit of time traveling to discuss the Arsenal-Crystal Palace match due to scheduling complications, but the pod stops for no one—including the laws of spacetime. Finally, Josh puts the guys to the test with an impromptu quiz.
Intro/Outro Music: "A Haze" by Magpie Jay
In this episode, Ethan rejoins a jubilant panel to discuss all things Crystal Palace, as things are going quite well for the Eagles at the moment. Then, Reese discusses Arsenal's continued upward trajectory and an unfortunate misrepresentation of Granit Xhaka. Gage is spared the typical Spurs misery and has only a few general positive comments about Spurs before debating with Reese the possibilities of the race for the top 4. Josh was able to discuss a great double result for Leicester as they progress in the Europa Conference League and gain a much needed three points off Brentford. Ethan took the seat of quizmaster this week and presented a brand new quiz format, which the guys enjoyed.
Intro/Outro Music: "A Haze" by Magpie Jay
In this two-hour SLAPcast extravaganza, Gage, Josh and Reese are joined by old friend of the show Ben Singel, who joins to shed some light on the situation at Chelsea and share his views on it. Additionally, Reese is pleased with Arsenal despite the loss to Liverpool, Josh is still questioning what has gone wrong for Leicester and Gage has some routine Spurs existentialism.
Intro/Outro Music: "A Haze" by Magpie Jay
Gage is joined by Reese and Ethan to discuss the events from the Premier League in the past week, including but not limited to Marcelo Bielsa's dismissal, Spurs' inconsistency, Arsenal's revival and Palace's good performances. There is no quiz this week, but the show must go on.
Gage is joined by Josh, Reese and Ethan once again to discuss the happenings of the Premier League. How did Spurs beat City? Was that the best Harry Kane performance ever? How does Xhaka's role against Brentford foreshadow things to come for Arsenal tactically? How good are Wolves, really? Who will get relegated? Who will get Top 4? If you have any of these questions, you have come to the right place! These among others are the relevant topics of the show recorded on this most fateful of twosdays.
