Judith (Judy) Heumann is a lifelong advocate for the rights of disabled people. She contracted polio in 1949 in Brooklyn, New York and began to use a wheelchair for her mobility. She was denied the right to attend school because she was considered a "fire hazard" at the age of five. Her parents played a strong role in fighting for her rights as a child, but Judy soon determined that she, working in collaboration with other disabled people, had to play an advocacy role due to continuous discrimination.

She is now an internationally recognized leader in the disability rights community. Her memoir, authored with Kristen Joiner, of Being Heumann “Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist,” published by Beacon Press and audio recorded by Ali Stroker, who is the first wheelchair actor to perform on Broadway. Judy was featured on the Trevor Noah show. Judy is featured in Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a 2020 American award-winning documentary film, directed by James LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham, produced by the Obama Higher Ground Production and is available on Netflix. She also produces a podcast called The Heumann Perspective, which features a variety of members from the disability community.

She has been featured in numerous documentaries including on the history of the disability rights movement, including Lives Worth Living and the Power of 504 and delivered a TED talk in the fall of 2016, “Our Fight for Disability Rights- and Why We’re Not Done Yet”. Her story was also told on Comedy Central’s Drunk History in early 2018, in which she was portrayed by Ali Stroker,. As Senior Fellow at the Ford Foundation (2017-2019), she wrote “Road Map for Inclusion: Changing the Face of Disability in Media”. She also currently serves on a number of non-profit boards, including the American Association of People with Disabilities, the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, Humanity and Inclusion, as well as the Human Rights Watch board.

Judy was a founding member of the Berkeley Center for Independent Living which was the first grassroots center in the United States and helped to launch the Independent Living Movement both nationally and globally.

In 1983, Judy co-founded the World Institute on Disability (WID) with Ed Roberts and Joan Leon, as one of the first global disability rights organizations founded and continually led by people with disabilities that works to fully integrate people with disabilities into the communities around them via research, policy, and consulting efforts.

From 1993 to 2001, Judy served in the Clinton Administration as the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services in the Department of Education.

Judy then served as the World Bank's first Adviser on Disability and Development from 2002 to 2006. In this position, she led the World Bank's disability work to expand its knowledge and capability to work with governments and civil society on including disability in the global conversation.

During his presidency, President Obama appointed Judy as the first Special Advisor for International Disability Rights at the U.S. Department of State, where she served from 2010-2017. Mayor Fenty of D.C. appointed her as the first Director for the Department on Disability Services, where she was responsible for the Developmental Disability Administration and the Rehabilitation Services Administration.

She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of legislation, such as Section 504, the Individuals with Education Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which have been advancing the inclusion of disabled people in the US and around the world and fighting to end discrimination against all those with disabilities.

Judy graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY in 1969 and received her Master’s in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley in 1975. She has received numerous awards including being the first recipient of the Henry B. Betts Award in recognition of efforts to significantly improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and the Max Starkloff Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Council on Independent Living. She has been awarded numerous honorary doctorates.

Donita is the Associate Executive Director at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where she has responsibility for the organization’s operational planning and provides leadership in the implementation of its strategic vision and goals. Prior to joining the Center for Constitutional Rights, she was co-director of Advancement Project Nationals’ Power and Democracy Program in Washington, D.C. and served in several management roles and strategic planning sessions focused on sharpening the organization’s program goals.

She was co-counsel in multiple national voting rights cases, including the 2016 landmark North Carolina voter suppression case, NAACP v. McCrory. In 2008, she successfully challenged the lack of due process for 600,000 Ohio voters in advance of the 2008 general election and prevented their removal from the voter rolls.

Reggie Shuford is the Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Pennsylvania. Reggie has been with ACLU-PA since September 2011. Before that, he served as the director of law and policy at the Equal Justice Society (EJS), a national strategy group heightening consciousness on race in the law and popular discourse.

From 1995-2010, Reggie served as senior staff counsel in the national ACLU's Racial Justice Program. During his tenure there, he helped to pioneer legal challenges to racial profiling practices nationwide.

He was the ACLU's chief litigator in challenges to racial profiling, leading national litigation efforts and consulting with ACLU state affiliates and others in cases of "driving while black or brown," airport profiling, and profiling related to the war on terror.

Ann Meyers Drysdale is Vice President Phoenix Suns & Mercury, a broadcaster, and a trailblazer in women’s athletics.

Born into a Family of 11 Children, Ann was a seven-sports athlete in High School, and a three-sport athlete at UCLA where she was the first woman to receive an athletic scholarship and the first player in Division I history — male or female — to register a quadruple-double. Ann was a member of the first U.S. Olympic Women’s Basketball team in 1976, which won a silver medal.

She is a woman who paved the way for female basketball players, being the first 1st in so many ways including the first four-time All-American women’s basketball player, the #1 draft pick in the inaugural Professional Basketball League, the only woman to have a try out in the NBA, 3x winner of Women’s Super Stars and only woman to compete in the men’s Super Stars. She has been inducted in over a dozen halls of fame and Time Magazine named her as one of the Top 10 Female Sports Pioneers of all time. She was also the first woman to announce an NBA game on network television.

As a broadcaster for over 40 years, Ann covered six Olympic Games, and worked for ESPN, NBC, CBS, ABC, and other cable networks.

In 2006, Ann received the Ronald Reagan Media Award. She was married to HOF Dodger Pitcher Don Drysdale and has 3 Children with him.

Judge Sandra Mazer Moss is a Distinguished Neutral at the Dispute Resolution Institute (DRI) in Philadelphia.

Judge Moss joined the DRI in 2014, after a long and distinguished career with the First Judicial District of Philadelphia Civil Trial Division. While there, Judge Moss served as trial judge, judicial team leader, and most notably was the founder and first supervising judge of the Complex Litigation Center. Fondly referred to as the CJC, Judge Moss stewarded groundbreaking litigation programs designed to swiftly and fairly resolve asbestos, lead paint, breast implants, and other mass tort cases.

Many of the protocols that she created have been adopted throughout the United States. They've also been the basis of her appointment as Chair of the State Judges Mass Tort Litigation Committee, where she served under the auspices of the Conference of Chief Justices. Juliene Brazinski Simpson is the director of athletics at the College of Saint Elizabeth and Olympic silver medalist and co-captain of the 1976 U.S. Women's Basketball Team.

Juliene played college basketball at John F. Kennedy University in Nebraska where she was a four time all American. After graduating, she became a member of 11 different us women's national basketball teams representing the U.S. in international competition. Some highlights, a silver medal in the 1973 world university games, a gold medal in the 1975 pan am games and does serve silver medal in the 1976 Olympic games in Montreal where she was also a co-captain along with Pat Summit.

Following her playing career, she served as head women’s basketball at the University of Cincinnati, Arizona State University, Bucknell University, and East Stroudsburg University.
