Ezra Stanton has been a pastor for the past 15 years. Though he and Kendra had never been to Austin, they sensed God was leading them to plant a church here. In just nine months, they moved their family and 32 other people from the west coast to start Mission Church.
Ezra enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring Austin, watching SportsCenter, playing golf, and new shoes. He is married to his best friend, Kendra. They have two daughters and a son.

Tim Lukei is the Men’s Pastor at Mariners Church in Irvine, California, where he has served since 2008. With over 20 years of ministry experience, Tim has cultivated a leadership style that is both dynamic and entrepreneurial. Since taking the helm of Mariners’ Men’s Ministry in 2016, he has led it to remarkable growth—seeing a 300% increase in participation. Under his leadership, the ministry has transformed from a group with a median age of 55+ to a vibrant, multigenerational community of men ranging from their 20s to 90s.
As a visionary leader, Tim has also expanded the Men of Mariners ministry to over 100 life groups, offering countless opportunities for men to connect, serve, and grow in their faith. The ministry hosts three major annual retreats—Kayak, G4, and Man Camp—with up to 400 attendees each, providing intentional spaces for men to deepen their relationship with God.

Guillermo Gonzalez is the Lead Pastor at Mariners Santa Ana. He was born and raised in Mexico and immigrated to the United States as a junior in high school. With a background in technology and a passion for the Church, he understands the importance of working at the intersection between the practical and spiritual aspects of ministry. Guillermo lives in Santa Ana with his wife, Nidia, and their three children—Samuel, Nia, and Nora. As a self-proclaimed chef, he enjoys cooking in his free time, as well as spending time with family, and reading.

Mike Martz was an NFL coach, best known for his tenure with the St. Louis Rams. He served as the offensive coordinator for the Rams' Greatest Show on Turf offense in 1999, which led the franchise to its first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXIV. Coach Martz is a follower of Jesus with a great story of redemption, grace, and hope.

Paul Wozniak earned his BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, his CFP designation from the College for Financial Planning, and his JD from Pepperdine University School of Law. Paul became interested in God’s Word after attending a Bible study with fellow law students at Pepperdine. He gave his life to Jesus Christ later that same year. Shortly after graduating, he began a successful business and tax practice.
After 25 years in business, Paul sensed God calling him out of the corporate world. Since that time, over a decade ago, he has been using his extensive experience doing technical research to examine God’s Word meticulously. His thorough and systematic approach to the Bible involves the study of history, archaeology, culture, linguistics, and the sciences and traveling to Egypt, Israel, and Jordan to conduct field research.
Paul has attended and been involved in leadership at Mariners Church/South Coast Community Church in Irvine, California, for 36 years, where he has served as chairman of the Board of Elders and chairman of the Board of Trustees. Paul formed Shabua and is writing the Shabua book series to teach the Bible and share his findings with others. He desires to accurately present Scripture compellingly, inspiring both believers and nonbelievers to study God’s Word.

Fernando works as the Veterans Program Director at Step Forward Academy as a coach and mentor for veterans transitioning back into civilian life. He helps them develop a career path to a living wage and connects them to a healthy community. "When I returned home from my latest deployment in the U.S. Army, my life began to fall apart. One night, after heavy drinking, I placed my 1911 pistol in my mouth and thought a prayer---silence." Fernando's story will move and inspire you to pray for and look for every opportunity to help our nation's veterans. Fernando authored the book, "The Shadow of Death," which shares his story in detail. Iconic MLB legend Darryl Strawberry was perhaps one of the most electrifying players in Major League Baseball history. He entered the league with the New York Mets in 1983. Throughout his 17-year career, he made eight consecutive all-star game appearances and captured four World Series championships! But his baseball prowess on the field at times was largely overshadowed by his controversial life off with wild living, and drug addiction. We were priviledge to have a Davy at our Men's Breakfast and he shared about his life and walk with Jesus...
The founder of KenduFilms, Davy Liu, was born in Taiwan, the son of a prominent baker. As he later entered school, he earned poor grades in his academic studies resulting in very low self-esteem. He struggled with making straight A’s but was gifted in drawing straight lines. His family immigrated to the United States in 1982 where he met his 8th grade art teacher Poppy Kincaid. She discovered Davy’s talent and encouraged him with the words “You can do it”. That following year, Davy was selected as a top 20-award winner in a U.S. national art competition
This instilled a confidence and passion in Davy that encouraged him to pursue art and later became a fine animator and production designer for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Warner Brother Feature Animation, and Industrial Light and Magic. Davy often recalls what his art teacher told him, “You can do it”. Therefore, Kendu Films hopes to encourage the next generation with a "Can Do” spirit in every child by bringing great content and encouragement to families everywhere..
