Welcome to Season Two! This season we are diving into client experience. From how you leave your client feeling, the extra steps you take to add value and the process from start to finish, we are going through it all!
In episode one, I discuss my own personal experiences as a business owner, working for another company and hiring a business. I discuss how those very experiences shaped my own client experience. We also dive into the pre client experience. The experience you provide by making impressions on your social platforms.
KNOW LIKE TRUST.
How are you building these important factors that make or break your potential client from landing in your inbox? The work you do before your first personal interaction is SO important to not having to SELL so hard.
Actionable Steps
Are you clear in what you do?
How easy are you to contact?
Are you getting the right information?
Ask yourself these three questions as you navigate all your social channels and your website. If you ideal client can’t contact you, or the hoops they have to jump through start you off on the wrong foot… get to work my friend!

I can’t make you claim your income, I can’t make you follow the rules and regulations. But I can pray that Karma comes for you if you choose to undercut your industry with your unclaimed income.

In a matter of 10 minutes I had 8 grand worth of equipment stolen from me. The good news, I was insured. The bad news? I wasn’t insured for all I thought (assumed) I was.
Episode 3 of Built in a Seasontells my own personal experience, my own personal mistakes in hopes of you never making the same mistakes as me. Seriously. Learn from me, do your research.
If you couldn’t survive a loss of business, a flood, fire, or theft, you need to get insurance… like yesterday.
In this episode I detail the time I had my gear stolen while at an engagement session and the aftermath. The process of getting money/or lack of money back from insurance.
I also detail two game changers when it comes to contracts. The mistakes I was making in two areas, as well as how I changed them to serve my business better.

We hopefully know that we need to be putting aside 30-35% of our income, but what’s more is you need to be tracking all your expenses. Some expenses may only be able to be taken at 20%, while others you get to expense the full amount. In this episode I’m hoping to jog your memory on all the potential expenses you may have forgotten to include in your tax filing. I’ve also created a free resource for you to download and go through before making those numbers official on your file.
If you have questions about taxes, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be sitting down with an accountant to interview her about all the things we need clarity on! Stay tuned on my Instagram, as I’ll be posting a story to allow for an easy place to send those questions. You are also welcome to DM me!
