and learn how a believers obedience to God, faith, and letting go of the past can change their walk with Christ.
Can your dinner table become a place where someone encounters Jesus? In Matthew 9:9-13, we see how Matthew responded to Jesus' call (that came while he was still a sinner) by inviting others to meet the One who changed his life. This message explores how God often works around tables, using meals and everyday conversations to draw people closer to Him.Who could you invite to your table this week?
What if one of the greatest opportunities to share your faith is already in your home?Throughout the Gospels, Jesus did more than teach in synagogues. He met people around tables, shared meals, and used hospitality to reveal the heart of God. In this message, discover how your dining table (or kitchen counter, breakfast nook, patio, favorite restaurant, etc.) can become a place where conversations deepen, relationships grow, and lives are changed through the love of Christ.Whether you are gathering with family, friends, neighbors, or someone who is searching for hope, God can use ordinary moments to do extraordinary things.
What does it really mean to be the Church, and what makes the Church... the Church? In this message from Ephesians 2:19–22, we look at God's design for His Church and the four biblical marks that have defined it throughout history: one, holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic. Learn how Jesus Christ is the cornerstone (and what that means), why the Christian Church is more than a building, and what it means to be built together as God's people.Whether you have been following Christ for years or are just beginning to explore your faith, this message will help you better understand God's purpose for His Church and your place in it.
In this message, discover what it means to be God's workmanship as we explore Ephesians 2:1-10 and the loving work of our Heavenly Father. Whether God is adding new opportunities, removing what no longer belongs, or allowing seasons of pressure, every part of His work on you has a purpose: to shape you into the image of Christ.Through the pictures of the workbench, the chisel, and the potter's wheel, this sermon reminds us that the Father is still working. No season/time is wasted, and no life is beyond His hands. If you have been wondering what God is doing in your life, this message will encourage you to trust the Master Craftsman and the beautiful work He is creating.
Wednesdays at Calvary experience our dynamic Bible studies learning how to read the scriptures and how to let the scriptures speak to you.

Revival Starts Here: When Changed Hearts Transform CitiesWhat does true revival actually look like and how does it move from private faith to public impact? In this powerful Christian sermon, we trace the pattern of revival straight from Acts 8 to the First Great Awakening, discovering how God changes hearts, sends faith into the public square, and ultimately reshapes culture. From Philip preaching Christ in Samaria to the fires of awakening that swept across early America, revival has always followed the same path: hearts transformed, faith declared, and cities filled with joy.
Revival is not God waking up the world. Revival is God waking up the Church. In this message, REVIVAL BEGINS WITH ME, we explore the biblical foundation of revival, the altar of prayer, and why personal prayer always comes before public power.Rooted in Leviticus 6:12–13, this teaching calls every Christian to tend the fire on the altar of their own heart. True church revival does not begin with events, miracles, or crowds. It begins with prayer, repentance, unity, and personal surrender.
In Uncharted: Come Up Higher, this Christian sermon explores God’s open invitation to step beyond comfort and follow Him into uncharted faith. Drawing from Revelation 4:1, we see that God opens doors before He explains the destination, calling believers to respond with trust, prayer, and obedience.
Uncharted: Oh, the Places You’ll Go on the Adventure of a Spirit-Led Life invites you into a Christian journey of movement, growth, and transformation. In this message, we explore how being led by the Holy Spirit means you will not stay the same. A Spirit-led life is an adventure where God guides you through seasons of waiting, detours, and breakthrough with purpose.
Uncharted: Making Room for the Holy Spirit invites us into the adventure of a Spirit-led life by asking one essential question: Have we made room for Him? Rooted in Romans 8:14, this message explores how being led by the Holy Spirit defines our identity as sons and daughters of God.
Are you feeling stuck, limited, or unable to move forward in your faith? In this Christian sermon, we explore how unseen spiritual cages can keep believers from fully living the Spirit-led life God intends. In this message at Calvary Orlando, we look at Romans 8:14 and discover how the Holy Spirit leads the sons and daughters of God beyond fear, guilt, failure, assumption, routine, and responsibility. These cages can feel familiar, but they still hinder obedience, growth, and freedom
Living a Spirit-led life is essential for every Christian who desires to walk in God’s purpose. In Week 1 of Uncharted: The Adventure of a Spirit-Led Life, our church explores what it truly means to follow the Holy Spirit and trust God’s direction.
This Christian sermon calls the church to persistent prayer and intentional intercession, reminding believers in Orlando and beyond that when God is with us, He invites us to ask and ask again. As we conclude the Immanuel series and close out 2025, this message presses into a familiar truth with a deeper question. Now that we know God is with us, what do we do next? Scripture shows us that God’s presence does not lead to passivity. It leads to prayer.
Celebrate Jesus’ birth this Christmas in this Luke 2 Christmas sermon about Immanuel, God with us, and the arrival of God’s promised gift to humanity. While the world expected power and political rescue, God chose a manger, a baby, and a quiet arrival that changed everything. In this Christian sermon, we reflect on the unexpected gift of Jesus, born not in a palace but among the humble. The announcement to shepherds reveals God’s heart for all people and reminds us that God meets us where we are, not where we think we should be. From the manger to the message of peace on earth, this passage shows the descending love of God and His desire for relationship, not distance. As a church, we are reminded that the greatest gift of Christmas is not what we receive, but Who came to be with us. Jesus fulfills the promise of God’s presence, bringing hope, reconciliation, and transformation to our lives and our world.
What does it look like to prepare when God gives a promise before we see the outcome? This Christian sermon explores how preparation is an active expression of faith in God’s Word.In Luke 1:26–39, Mary receives the angel’s message and aligns her life with God’s promise. Her visit to Elizabeth shows the importance of community in strengthening faith while we wait. Drawing from Isaiah 54:1–3, this message calls believers to expand their capacity and prepare for growth even before results are visible.
Experience Immanuel: The Season of Expectancy, a powerful Christmas message here at Calvary Orlando. In this sermon, we explore what it means to live in the season of expectancy, trusting God when all we have is a promise and the Word of the Lord.Mary shows us what faith looks like when she declares, “I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said.” Her response invites us to believe even when we don’t understand the how of God’s plan. Like Mary, God calls us not for our credentials but our willingness and availability. We dive into the power of spiritual growth, the gestation of God’s promises, and how every vision has a God-designed timeline. From Abraham and Joseph to David, Anna, and Simeon, Scripture shows us that expectancy is part of God’s process of shaping our faith. If you have been waiting, praying, hoping, or holding onto a word from God, this message is for you.
In today’s message, Breathe: Breathing Life Into Others, we explore what it means to offer Spiritual CPR by speaking life, giving encouragement, and creating an atmosphere where others can grow. Using Scriptures and examples like Jonathan, Gideon, and Barnabas, we’re reminded of the power of choosing a telescope mindset that sees God’s potential instead of a microscope that limits it. This message challenges us to be people who refresh, restore, and lift others up in every interaction.
In a world filled with noise, stress, and rising pressure, our Calvary Orlando is learning how to breathe again. This week in our Breathe series, Pastor Maria shared a powerful message on the secret place, the intentional space where we pause, shut the door, and meet with God without distractions.
At Calvary Orlando, our Christian community continued the Breathe series with a message titled “Breathing in God’s Waiting Room.” This message is for anyone who feels stuck, delayed, or uncertain and is searching for fresh hope, spiritual renewal, and the reminder that God is still at work even when life feels slow.
Find peace and freedom from anxiety in this powerful message from Pastor Kevin in Week 2 of our “Breathe” series. Learn how to break free from anxiety by fixing your focus on Jesus, the true source of peace and strength.Discover how God’s presence and peace calm every worry about your past, present, and future. You’ll be encouraged to take every thought captive, trust God fully, and live with a renewed mindset rooted in faith, not fear. When Jesus gets bigger in your vision, your problems begin to shrink. If you’ve been struggling with anxiety or searching for lasting peace, this message will help you breathe again and rest in God’s love.
Many people today feel tired, overwhelmed, and burned out. But God is calling us to stop, take a breath, and refocus on Him.In this message, Pastor Kevin shares how to find peace in a pressured world by learning the difference between shallow breathing that reacts and deep breathing that restores. Rest in God is active divine fellowship, not inactivity.
We have been in a powerful series called Not Today, Satan, and this week Pastor Maria brought a message that reminded us what it really means to be equipped for spiritual warfare. The battle may be invisible, but it is real, and the good news is that God has already given us everything we need to stand firm.
The battle is real. In Ephesians 6:12-14, Paul reminds us that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. In this message, “Not Today, Satan: The Real Battle of Spiritual Warfare”, we dive into the reality of spiritual warfare with insights from C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters, Keith Green’s music, and powerful biblical examples like Daniel and Elisha.
In this powerful message from our Home Improvement series, we explore the life-changing power of forgiveness. Using the story of Rip Van Winkle and the call from Ephesians 5:14: “Awake, O Sleeper!”, we are reminded that the world is changing all around us. Spiritually, culturally, and personally, we must not sleep through vital moments in our lives.
In Week 3 of our Home Improvement series, Pastor Maria shares how the power of words can shape your home, your faith, and your future. The Bible shows us that impossible situations such as Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones, David facing Goliath, or Paul and Silas in prison were transformed when God’s people spoke His Word with boldness.
Welcome to week two of our Home Improvement series! The chaos and brokenness we see in our world often reflect what’s happening inside our homes. But when Jesus is at the center, families are restored, marriages are strengthened, and even singleness finds purpose.
Welcome to Home Improvement – Week 1: The Blueprint to Your Dream House. In this powerful sermon, we explore how to build a God-honoring home rooted in wisdom, reverence, and obedience to God’s Word.
Are you ready to experience new life in Christ? 🌊This week at Calvary Orlando, Pastors Maria and Kevin share a powerful message about the meaning of baptism, the forgiveness of sins, and the transformation that happens when we fully surrender to Jesus.Baptism isn’t just a ritual, it’s a celebration of freedom and salvation! Our old self is gone, and through faith in Jesus Christ, we are raised into a brand-new life. Whether you’re taking your first steps of faith, exploring what it means to be born again, or looking to renew your commitment to God, this message will show you why baptism matters and the new life Jesus offers.
We are living in what many call a post-Christian culture. Unlike nations that have never heard the Gospel, our society has heard of Jesus and decided it has “moved beyond” Him. But while culture claims to evolve past Christian faith, it still lives off the fruit of it: justice, love, compassion, generosity. These values did not come from nowhere, they were planted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
At Calvary Orlando, Sundays are never just services—they are family gatherings where God moves in powerful and personal ways. This week’s message, “Your Next Step: Responding to God’s Call,” was a beautiful reminder that the Christian life is not just about hearing God’s Word—it’s about living it out with courage, joy, and love.Pastor Eric reminded us that every time God speaks, He is inviting us to take a step closer. It might be a step of faith, a step into community, or a step toward surrender. No matter how big or small, those steps change everything.
In the Book of Acts, we find the blueprint for the church, a Spirit-filled, unified, generous, and mission-driven body that reveals God’s Kingdom to the world. That same blueprint is still the model for today’s Christian community.
n a world where people are increasingly disillusioned with organized religion, the idea of the church can feel outdated or optional. But the truth is, the church isn’t just relevant, it’s essential. The church is not man's invention, it was created by Jesus. As Pastor Kevin reminds us, Jesus Himself said, “I will build My church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” The church is God’s plan for community, transformation, and mission in the world. It is more than a building or a Sunday gathering. It is a living, Spirit-empowered body, a holy nation, and a spiritual family created by God for His purposes.
In a world full of noise and distraction, it's easy to compartmentalize our faith to Sundays. But the truth is, you were Made for Mondays—created to be a person of influence in your everyday life. As a Christian, you're not just meant to attend church, you're meant to be the church in every sphere of your life.Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” That doesn’t just mean stepping onto a pulpit—it means stepping into your workplace, your family, your community, and yes, even your HOA meeting, with purpose.
Our latest message in the Made for Mondays series, Lead Like Jesus, reminded us that every believer is a disciple, and every disciple is a leader. The call to follow Jesus isn’t passive. It’s a call to live with purpose, influence, and mission.“A disciple is someone who knows Jesus, is being transformed by Jesus, and is committed to the mission of Jesus.”
Too many believers dread Mondays, but what if your Christian faith reframed it? Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." That’s not just for Sunday morning in church—it’s for boardrooms, classrooms, and break rooms. Wherever you work, God has placed you there on assignment. You’re not just earning a paycheck—you’re advancing the Kingdom of God.
Your Work Matters to GodWork isn’t just something you have to do—it’s something you were created to do.In this message, discover the powerful Christian truth that your work isn’t a curse—it’s a calling. From the very beginning, God designed work to be good, meaningful, and full of purpose. Here’s the shift: work is worship. Whether you're clocking in at the office, teaching in a classroom, serving tables, or running a business, your work is a way to reflect God’s image, love others, and participate in His ongoing creation. You’re not just made for weekends—you’re Made for Mondays.
In a fast-paced world that glorifies hustle and burnout, many are discovering a deeper truth: the most powerful lives are those lived from rest—not restlessness. At Calvary Orlando, we're launching a fresh perspective in our summer series Made for Mondays, beginning with a message that reframes how we view work, rest, and purpose. It’s time to stop living for the weekend and start living from it.
In a world overwhelmed by emotional burnout, spiritual fatigue, and quiet battles, our most powerful healing doesn’t come from external fixes—it begins with the transformative presence of Jesus. At Calvary Orlando, this past Sunday’s message, From Brokenness to Wholeness, led by Pastor Caroline, was more than a sermon—it was a personal invitation into emotional healing, spiritual restoration, and life transformation through faith. As a Christian church in Orlando, we believe that real change begins when we encounter Jesus for ourselves.
Father's Day can stir up a mix of emotions—joy, gratitude, regret, or even pain. But whether your earthly father was present or absent, kind or cruel, there is One Father whose love is perfect, constant, and life-changing—God, your Heavenly Father.
Are you in a season of waiting — for a breakthrough, a healing, a relationship, or a new opportunity? It can feel like God is silent. But in a powerful message at Calvary Orlando, Pastor JJ reminded us that God works powerfully in the process, not just at the destination. This message is for anyone who's felt stuck, delayed, or forgotten. The truth is: your miracle is on the way, and God is closer than you think.
On this special Baptism Sunday at Calvary Orlando, we celebrate lives made new in Christ and reflect on why baptism still matters today. From wooden watermelon tanks to rivers and oceans, the place doesn’t matter—the surrender does. In this message, we revisit Jesus' command in Matthew 28, explore the power of baptism as a visual sermon, and ask:Are you ready to fully surrender?
Reggie Dabbs reminded us that even in our darkest moments, God is always just four steps away. Using powerful illustrations and heartfelt testimony, he invited us all to take a moment and say: “Remember me, Lord.” The message hit home for many, and it was a moment we won’t forget.
In Week 2 of Ignite, we take a closer look at what happens when passion for God begins to fade. From the warning to the church in Ephesus, to Lydia’s powerful response to the gospel, to the burning hearts of the disciples on the Emmaus road—we’re reminded that Jesus is always calling us back to Himself.
At Calvary Orlando, we believe church isn't just a place you attend — it's a movement you're part of. This past Sunday, Pastor Kevin launched our newest sermon series, "IGNITE", and the message couldn’t be more timely. We want to unpack this message and help you live out the call to ignite your faith, ignite your community, and truly ignite your purpose in Christ.
Are you ready to step into your calling with the power of Heaven behind you?In Week 2 of our "UP" series, we explore the powerful moment of Christ's Ascension — not as an ending, but as a launching point for every believer! Jesus didn't just rise to Heaven; He passed the torch to you and me.
Are you ready to experience the power of the resurrection in your own life? In this inspiring Resurrection Sunday message, we walk through Luke 24:1–49 to explore the transformational journey from doubt to belief that the early disciples experienced after Jesus rose from the grave. At first, even Jesus’ closest followers were skeptics—but everything changed when He began revealing Himself through scripture, fellowship, and personal encounters.
Experience the power and beauty of Palm Sunday 2025 in our message: "Palm Sunday: The Messiah You Didn’t See Coming." Dive into the heart of the Palm Sunday story from Matthew 21:1-11, where Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem reveals a Savior who does immeasurably more than anyone expected.
In Week 4 of our "From Ashes to Glory" series, we dive into the powerful moment of The Transfiguration of Jesus—an encounter that revealed His divine glory and connected deeply with Moses’ experience on Mount Sinai.
God doesn’t just call us to survive—He calls us to flourish. And flourishing begins with the heart. Rooted in Scripture, the message outlined how repentance positions us to experience spiritual growth, healing, and restoration in every season.
❗ Are You REALLY Following Jesus? ❗ Many claim to be disciples, but what does it actually mean to deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Christ? In this powerful sermon on discipleship, we unpack Luke 9:18-26 and Luke 9:57-62 to challenge your faith and commitment. If you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
Are you going through a wilderness season in life? In this powerful message, we explore Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) and how His victory over trials can help us overcome struggles, resist temptation, and grow in faith. Learn how to trust God during seasons of testing and walk confidently in your identity and purpose.
Join us for Missions Sunday as we celebrate God’s heart for the nations and the incredible work being done to spread the Gospel worldwide! This special service will feature a guest missionary, Pastor Phil Smethurst, from Overland Missions, sharing powerful testimonies of transformation, faith, and the global impact of missions.
The Heart of RepentanceAs we prepare for Easter, we reflect on the powerful journey from Ashes to Glory—the call to true repentance and transformation. Throughout Scripture, ashes symbolize humility, surrender, and turning back to God. But repentance is more than just sorrow—it’s a deliberate decision to change, to walk in God’s ways, and to receive His grace.
Are you feeling alone in your spiritual journey? God never intended for us to fight our battles alone! In this powerful sermon, we explore how the Bible calls us to stand together, lift each other up, and fight for one another’s promises. 🙌
We Are the Church: A Multicultural Vision of Unity in a world that constantly tries to divide us through culture, race, and politics, the Church is called to be different. What does the Bible say about unity in diversity? How can we embrace cultural differences and reflect the Kingdom of Heaven? In this message, we dive deep into Paul’s teachings on "putting on Christ" and how the early Church navigated cultural and racial divides.
As believers, we are living stones being built into God’s spiritual house. This concept is key to understanding our role in God’s kingdom and how we are called to grow and serve as part of the church. Here’s what this means for us:
What is the Church? Is it just a building, or is it something more? In this powerful message, Pastor Kevin Kringel unpacks what Jesus meant when He said, "I will build My Church" (Matthew 16:18). The Church is not just a place you go—it’s a family you are a part of!

Jesus loves His church and the Lord’s church is made up of people. Our prayer, in this message, is that you see the Lord's love for His church and willingness to work with us to reach our potential, even when we have failed. Perhaps a person in church has hurt you or the organization of church has let you down. We pray God helps you to release those hurts to Him and be able to move forward in your connection to Him and His family.

When we contrast the fruit of the Spirit with the works of the flesh we quickly see that for each of the works of the flesh there is a response in the fruit of the Spirit. We can entrust the Holy Spirit to help us in every situation. The key to walking in victory is not only have an understanding and engagement with the Holy Spirit on a general level, but also embracing the Holy Spirit in the specific challenge areas. God (in the form of the Holy Spirit) works in every situation of life.
