Due to his distinctive personality and intellectual depth, many people refer to him as 'The Reluctant Shaman.' John's passion for innovation and discovery is evident in his constant exploration of new ideas and perspectives. His collaborations with talented individuals such as Nick Cassavetes, Claudia Katz, Armin Van Buuren, and Travis Pastrana have led to the discovery and nurturing of careers like Southern Momma and Ginger Billy.

John, a graduate of Charleston Southern University, where he played baseball and majored in Business Administration while minoring in economics, is a man who values his personal life. He lives with his wife and daughter in Mt. Pleasant, SC, and when he is not busy with work, he enjoys spending time at the beach, playing golf, or pursuing his education in the spiritual space. This glimpse into his life allows the audience to connect with him more personally, beyond his professional achievements.

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and moved to Canada when I was 17. I spent much of my 20s and 30s following the path I believed was expected of me: I received a degree in Psychology and Law, and I earned a Master’s degree in International Law. Despite the accolades, I was unfulfilled and wondered if my life had a higher purpose.

I started fearing my age, feeling like my life was wasted on unimportant stuff, and it felt like time had ‘tick-taken’ away without me even noticing.

Then, I was in a terrifying accident at my family’s cabin outside of Moscow. A fire almost took my life, and everything changed. I can still remember breathing in amid the suffocating smoke and wondering if I was taking my last breath. I survived the fire and was left in wonderment at how little time separated me from death. It shifted my perspective, and after years of wasting time and pursuing what others expected of me, I finally started living for myself.

At 42 years old, I decided to forget everything I’d learned that was considered “proper,” instead, I began living by a new rule – the “What if?” rule. I asked myself, ‘What if there’s an answer to my questions on the other side of some crazy idea? What if there’s happiness and satisfaction?’ I taught myself to listen carefully to those risk-taking thoughts, and now I act on them. The results are always a win simply because I believe it is always better to do something, even if you fail, rather than regret not doing it.

Tom Paladino is a Christian, husband, researcher, and humanitarian who aims to bring Scalar Light healing to the world in order to improve the quantum health of humanity. He began researching Scalar Light during his undergraduate years after developing a deep admiration for Nikola Tesla, the Father of Scalar Light research and development. Starting in 1993, Tom studied research notes and operated Scalar Light instruments developed by another Scalar Light expert, Galen Hieronymus. Tom attributes much of his success today to these two brilliant Scalar Light pioneers.

There are two energies in the universe: Scalar Energy and electromagnetic energy. Scalar Energy is divine energy, and the Sun, our solar system, and the stars serve as the "storehouses" for this divine light. The laws that govern Scalar Energy are distinct from the laws that govern electromagnetic energy.

Tom Paladino has devoted a significant portion of his humanitarian efforts to helping Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) with outreach programs. NGOs are made up of action-based program developers and a community of like-minded people committed to making sustainable, humanitarian-oriented impacts all over the world.

IHow oona do? (Gullah Geechee for “How are you?”)

I’m a Singer/Songwriter/Writer/Performer. My creative and performance energies for more than 30 years have filled many with cultural appreciation, celebration, encouragement, and joy!

I've been recognized as a cultural preservationist for my original songs, writings, performances, and presentations. If you in any way have found meaning, understanding, \or Aha!-moments about Gullah Geechee culture or heritage through any of my efforts, I am deeply honored!

I’m about making a difference and sharing the truth. I use that “big voice” I’ve had since I was a young boy, leading spirituals and gospel songs in my St. Helena Island, SC, community and making listeners feel the lyrics and not just hear them. Writing and performing songs with keen and piercing stories and sometimes jes plain jokey (or fun).

I am a recipient of the 1996 South Carolina Order of the Palmetto, the State’s highest honor; the 1997 State of South Carolina Folk Heritage Award, given for lifetime achievement and excellence in folk art that has enriched the lives of the people in their community and state; 1998 Daytime Emmy Award nominee and presenter; the 2007 South Carolina African American Heritage Commission’s Lifetime Achievement Award; and an inductee in the 2013 Penn Center 1862 Circle.

In addition to singing and songwriting, I enjoy speed walking and baking “Mr. Ron’s Gullahlicious Pound Cakes” (Share a slice…if you can!).

As a 22-year-old, Nadine never could have understood what she was committing to when marrying Jordan Belfort, the fraudulent stockbroker infamously known as "The Wolf of Wall Street."Their eight-year marriage began as a fairytale, filled with romantic dinners, expensive gifts, and lavish parties. But once they were bonded, Jordan’s ‘mask’ began to slip, and acts of infidelity, narcissistic abuse, insatiable greed, and uncontrollable drug addiction became Nadine’s living nightmare. Nadine naively believed that their connection was real and that her love could save him, so she remained trauma-bonded until the pain of their relationship became too much to bear. It would be decades before she realized her story resembled thousands of other women’s relational experiences.

At 30, Nadine packed up her kids and her curtains and left Jordan, relocating to Los Angeles, California. She began a transformative process of intensive therapy and deep self-reflection, which required facing her pain, admitting and owning her mistakes, and reconnecting with the authentic self she’d lost due to Jordan’s abuse. Through her healing, a passion for helping others was born. She returned to school at 39 to become a psychotherapist and, ten years later, graduated with a PhD in Counseling and Somatic Psychology.

Dr. Nae’s private practice quickly flooded with women recounting an all-too-familiar story of abuse with a pathological partner. Her goal of helping people develop healthy relationships took on a life of its own as she realized that trauma bonds were increasingly prevalent and destroying the lives of hundreds of women. Nadine embarked on a twelve-year journey of learning about domestic violence. She combined her academic background with her experience and that of her patients, eventually leading her to become an industry expert in narcissistic abuse, trauma bonds, and complex PTSD.

A South Carolina man who told 911 dispatchers that he shot his friend in self-defense has now been charged with murder. Local media reported that Berkeley County sheriff’s deputies said this week they have charged 34-year-old Wade David Williamson III with murder, a week after a shooting at his home near Summerville.

Thirty-five-year-old Liam Owen Vernon of Summerville was shot three times on April 8 at Williamson’s home. Williamson is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. It was not known if he has an attorney yet. Williamson told dispatchers that he and Vernon had been getting along all night until Vernon hit him in the jaw. Williamson said Vernon continued to hit him, so he shot him.

Five years later, the case was dropped.

Rhonda McCrimmon is a shamanic teacher who brings the ancient wisdom of Celtic shamanism to life. This spiritual tradition dates back to pre-Christian times in northern Europe and emphasizes the importance of balancing the body's three energy centers or "cauldrons" to achieve physical, spiritual, and emotional health.

The three cauldrons are the Cauldron of Warming, the Cauldron of Motion, and the Cauldron of Wisdom. Rhonda McCrimmon takes readers on a journey to activate, nurture, and maintain each cauldron's unique potential.

The Cauldron of Warming is the source of our inner knowledge and can be depleted by past traumas, leaving us anxious and fearful. Rhonda teaches you how to replenish this cauldron and restore inner peace and security.

The Cauldron of Motion represents our capacity to love and nurture. It is on its side at birth and fills as we experience deep grief or joy. Rhonda shows you how to balance this cauldron, establish healthy boundaries, and protect yourself from emotional drain.

The Cauldron of Wisdom is the source of a profound connection with nature. It is upside down at birth, but once righted, it can provide one of the most sublime gifts of Celtic spirituality. Rhonda guides you on how to activate this cauldron and receive this gift.

With self-reflections and other exercises, Rhonda McCrimmon helps readers activate and balance their inner cauldrons, dispel fear by tapping into innate wisdom, work through past traumas, foster love, nurture emotional resilience, and manifest their creative potential through rituals and meditations.

The book also explores the tradition of Celtic fire festivals and the sacred practice of saining. Rhonda invites readers of all ancestral roots to explore this ancient wisdom and begin their journey down the shaman's path.

Experience the world of private contractors conducting high-threat missions for a nascent Iraqi government in the hopes of rebuilding after the fall of Saddam Hussein. With limited support, the men of Blackwater protected US diplomats as the country descended into sectarian violence. It was a hazardous mission complete with rockets, mortars, improvised explosive devices, and not knowing who or where the enemy was.

Morgan Lerette’s irreverently honest memoir shows the good and bad of injecting private armies into active combat zones in the name of diplomacy and digs deep into the bonds of brotherhood created by war. With gut-wrenching tragedy, dark humor, and parties that make Animal House seem like a Disney film, this memoir offers a firsthand perspective on how men act and react in war.

Lerette, a private contractor employed by the notorious Blackwater in the early days of the Iraq War, pulls no punches in calling out the incompetence of both the US military and the Department of State during the collapse of Iraq. You can decide if the insertion of private contractors in Iraq assisted or detracted from the war effort and if the costs in blood and treasure were worth the carnage.

Lauren Brill is a seven-time Emmy-nominated and AP-award-winning journalist. As a television broadcaster, I was a sports anchor and reporter for the ABC affiliate in Cleveland, the CBS affiliate in Buffalo, and MSG Varsity in the New York metropolitan area. Also, I have written features for several nationally known outlets, including NBA.com, WNBA.com, NikeWomen.com, ESPN’s Girl Mag, and womensprosoccer.com.

In 2019, I combined my writer and television journalist skills to create The Unsealed. I ghostwrite all the featured letters, provide commentaries, and host a weekly interactive show called Unsealed Conversations. People Magazine, ESPN, ABC, The New York Post, and E! Online are among the outlets that have acknowledged The Unsealed’s work.

In our first year, The Unsealed reached more than a quarter-million people in 182 countries.

At Columbia University, I majored in sociology, focusing my studies on the impact of sports on society. The Unsealed is a platform where we help people write and exchange inspirational open letters that reveal strength and encourage compassion. Our mission is to use diverse voices and experiences to empower and unite people.

My career as a sports journalist, working for ABC (Cleveland), CBS (Buffalo), MSG Varsity (New York), and NBA.com, led me to create The Unsealed. Enlightened and inspired by the athletes I covered in 2017, before the #MeToo movement, I mustered up the courage to share what was once my darkest secret. I wrote an open letter to sexual assault survivors detailing my personal experience with sexual violence. My letter went viral around the country.

Sharing my story made me feel unstoppable. So much so that I started The Unsealed to provide a space where people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic backgrounds can be heard and supported while motivating and educating others.

Our letters come from many people, including high-profile athletes, entertainers who have overcome tremendous adversity, and parents who want to improve the world for the next generation.

As a member of The Unsealed, you can enter our writing contests. You can share your stories, connect with PenPals, and ask our members for advice. You can engage in our discussions on our weekly live interactive show, Unsealed Conversations. Also, as a member, you receive access to exclusive content while supporting our goal of catalyzing social change.

We may experience the world differently, but our letters unseal the humanity that connects us all.

Robert Vicino and his son Dante lead the Vivos Project. Robert is an entrepreneur with a successful background in manufacturing, marketing, and real estate development on a global scale. In 1980, he was struck with building a shelter deep underground to protect 1,000 people from a potential life-extinction event. This idea was so vivid and compelling that he abandoned everything and began searching for an underground cave or abandoned mine that could be fortified to create a massive shelter to save as many people as possible. Although this occurred decades ago, the idea continues to drive the Vivos Project forward.

The Vivos project was initiated in 2008 as a privately funded endeavor to provide life-assurance shelter solutions to as many people as possible in any disaster. The founder was inspired by his belief that this was his true calling, and he had the unique skills to accomplish it. However, it was an enormous responsibility for him, as he had to risk being ridiculed and invest years of his life and savings to help others.

Robert and Dante have accepted the responsibility of bringing the Vivos network to life worldwide with great humility and gratitude. They lead a team of experts in diverse fields such as engineering, architecture, construction, medicine, psychology, healthcare, nutrition, law, constitution, finance, management, logistics, manufacturing, security, and self-defense. Each team member is dedicated to making the Vivos network a reality.

He served as a Princeton in Asia Media Fellow in Hanoi, Vietnam, and his work has appeared in GQ, Texas Monthly, Sports Illustrated, and the New York Times. He lives in Austin.

“Among the Bros" is a harrowing and disturbing book. This book will blow your mind, each page digging deeper into the unimaginable. Except every word is true.”—Buzz Bissinger, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Mosquito Bowl and Friday Night Lights. A brilliant young investigative journalist traces a murder and a multi-million-dollar drug ring, leading to an unprecedented look at elite American fraternity life.

When Max Marshall arrived on the campus of the College of Charleston in 2018, he hoped to investigate a small-time fraternity Xanax trafficking ring. Instead, he found a homicide, several student deaths, and millions of dollars circulating the Deep South. He also opened up an elite world hidden from outsiders. Behind the pop culture cliches of “Greek life” lies one of the primary breeding grounds of American power: 80 percent of Fortune 500 executives, 85 percent of Supreme Court justices, and all but four presidents since 1825 have been fraternity members. With unprecedented immersion, this book takes readers inside that bubble.

Under the live oaks and Spanish moss of Travel + Leisure’s “Most Beautiful Campus in America,” Marshall traces several “C of C” boys’ journeys from fraternity pledges to interstate drug traffickers. The result is a true-life story of hubris, status, money, drugs, and murder—one that lifts a curtain on an ecstatic and disturbing way of life. With expert pacing and an excellent eye, he follows a never-ending party that continues after funerals and mass arrests.

An addictive and haunting portrait of tomorrow’s American establishment, Among the Bros is nonfiction storytelling at its finest.

Lev Parnas is an American businessman who, under the direction of Rudy Giuliani, found himself expressing and sometimes dictating U.S. policy in Ukraine. Giuliani was using Parnas to find compromising material on the Biden family that he could use in his 2020 Presidential campaign against Joe Biden.

This podcast was created to provide an alternative perspective on American politics not influenced by corporate outlets. As an independent voice, Parnas offers a viewpoint closer to what regular people think rather than what they are told. He is neither right nor left, searching for answers like everyone else. This podcast is dedicated to presenting an eye-opening look at American and international politics, and only some people are as qualified as Parnas to be a veteran commentator on U.S. politics.

Parnas made deals with Eastern European oligarchs to gain his insight, including expelling the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. He was a trusted member of Donald Trump’s inner circle and witnessed all of the scandals up close and in real-time, paying a grave price for his involvement.

Through his connections with Trump, Giuliani, their staffs, allies, operatives, and media people, as well as those overseas, Parnas offers a savvy but fresh perspective on how things work in government, both domestically and internationally. He has appeared on major media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, CBS, BBC, and Reuters. He has even earned an Emmy Award nomination for one of his appearances on The Rachel Maddow Show.

Lev Parnas is based in Boca Raton, Florida, but travels frequently to New York City, Washington D.C., and abroad.

In one of America's most notorious prisons, a young man sentenced to life without parole miraculously found faith, forgiveness, redemption, and restoration. In 27 Summers, Ronald Olivier shares his dramatic and powerful story and offers proof that God can bring healing and hope to even the darkest circumstances.

As a teenager, Ronald Olivier ran wild in the streets of New Orleans, selling drugs, stealing cars, and finally killing someone on what was supposed to be the happiest day of the year—Christmas Day. Facing the consequences of his crime, he remembered what his mother once said. "Baby, if you ever have real trouble, the kind that I can't get you out of, you can always call on Jesus." So he did.

Ron was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Through the agony of solitary confinement and multiple transfers into increasingly dangerous prison environments, Ron kept seeking God for healing and hope. Finally, after being locked up for twenty-seven summers at the notorious Louisiana State Penitentiary—known as Angola—Ron was miraculously released. Remarkably, he became the director of chaplains at Mississippi State Penitentiary. Today, Ron loves to combat hopelessness, wherever he finds it, by saying, "Don't tell me what God can't do!”

Although she appreciates many aspects of the culture she was raised in, the abuse she suffered at the hands of her brother and the lack of support she received from the rest of her family ultimately led her down a different path that would be characterized by light instead of the darkness that had shrouded her all her life.

Hold her heart in your hands as she bravely discusses the molestation she endured and how she stood up against it to protect her younger female family members. And walk alongside Rosa as she commits to following Jesus and using Him to guide her life journey. With My Path to Light, you will be inspired to march out of the darkness and into the light, just as Rosa did.

Pursuing a new career in social work, Justin carried the old values to a new generation of youth caught in the riptide of a world increasingly defined by personal gain over communal well-being.

Mike Powell’s blood and guts stories go far beyond his days working as a plainclothes officer in one of LAPD’s Zebra Units—a unit tasked with tracking down violent criminals in South Central L.A. “Shootin’ Newton” was notorious for its many police shootings, including the Black Panther and Symbionese Liberation Army shootouts. Two of Mike’s four shootings occurred in Newton.

Mike and his partners tracked down murder suspects, bank robbers, and a serial killer: a killer of young boys. Mike’s police stories take us back to the days when cops were allowed to be cops and when police chiefs like LAPD’s Ed Davis and Daryl Gates sent former military “warrior cops” into the streets to hunt down violent criminals.

Mike also served as a key undercover operative for both the LAPD, undercover as a woman, and the federal government, undercover in the MAFIA, and he lived to write about it. If you’ve seen the movie Casino, then you have seen the mobsters he brushed shoulders with.

Mike ended his investigative and undercover career after he received several death threats, and his home was set ablaze while he and his first wife, Manette, were in it.

I am an emergency physician and a historian. In my clinical work, I am an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Instructor in Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. I received my BA from Harvard University, MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed residency training in emergency medicine at Brown/Rhode Island Hospital.

My research focuses on the history and political economy of health care and on diagnostics for emergency care in resource-limited settings. Recently, I have written about international opiate regulations, population control campaigns, feminist critiques of the GDP, and hepatitis C diagnostic technologies.

My first book, No More to Spend (Oxford University Press, 2020), is a history of medical neglect and exploitation in Malawi. This book was named a CHOICE Outstanding Academic Title.

In my current research, I aim to use machine learning to improve early warning scores and diagnose emergent conditions in settings of clinical impoverishment.

I am also writing a history of medical debt collection in the United States. This book, Your Money or Your Life, is under contract with Oxford University Press and scheduled for publication in Fall 2023. It tells the story of how the collection of medical debt in the United States has transformed over the last several decades and how this impacts Americans’ lives.

Brandon Wolf is a nationally recognized gun safety and LGBTQ civil rights advocate and dynamic public speaker. He serves as the Press Secretary for Equality Florida, the state’s LGBTQ civil rights organization.

On June 12, life changed for Brandon. He crouched in a bathroom while a gunman opened fire at Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub, killing his best friends, Drew Leinonen & Juan Guerrero, and 47 others. Rather than be swallowed by the anger and fear of tragedy, Brandon set out to honor the victims’ legacies with action.

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Brandon co-founded The Dru Project, a nonprofit organization that works to empower youth and provide funding for higher education for future leaders in the LGBTQ community. The organization has given over $100,000 in college scholarships to rising leaders. He also became an outspoken activist in the gun violence prevention movement, partnering with March For Our Lives, Everytown, Giffords, and others to demand legislative solutions to the epidemic. In 2019, he became the first survivor of the tragedy at Pulse Nightclub to testify before Congress.

A powerful public speaker, Brandon Wolf is a frequent guest on MSNBC (The Reid Out & American Voices), CNN, and in print publications (CNN.com, USA Today, Newsweek, Teen Vogue, Washington Post, The Advocate, Out Magazine) weaving his story into calls to action. HuffPost has recognized him as one of “30 modern-day LGBTQ pioneers” and Business Equality Magazine as one of 40 LGBTQ Leaders Under 40.

In all things, Brandon is driven by the reminder that we are obligated to honor those we’ve lost, not with empty words or hollow platitudes - but with action.

Giles Yeo MBE is a British-American biologist. He is the professor of molecular neuroendocrinology at the Medical Research Council Metabolic Diseases Unit and scientific director of the Genomics/Transcriptomics Core at the University of Cambridge.

"Why Calories Don't Count"

The calorie information is ubiquitous. On packaged food, restaurant menus, and online recipes, we see authoritative numbers that tell us the calorie count of what we're about to consume. And we treat these numbers as gospel—counting, cutting, intermittently consuming, and, if you believe some 'experts' out there, magically making them disappear. We all know, and governments advise, that losing weight is just a matter of burning more calories than we consume. But it's all wrong.

In Why Calories Don't Count, Dr. Giles Yeo, an obesity researcher at Cambridge University, challenges the conventional model and demonstrates that all calories are not created equal. He addresses why popular diets succeed, at least in the short term, and why they ultimately fail, and what your environment has to do with your body weight.

Daniel was born and raised in Houston, TX. The second oldest of five kids who were all homeschooled, Daniel was always a fun-loving adventurer. Growing up, he spent much time outdoors, climbing trees and playing sports. Fun fact: he wasn’t very good at any sports he played as a kid. He loved being active and was competitive enough not to quit when things got tough. During high school, his focus turned to new passions such as singing, dancing, acting, and the performing arts. He also became more involved in his home church through music ministry.

After graduating high school, he attended a two-year ministry school, received an associate degree, and simultaneously began coaching & training at Iron Sports Ninja Gym. In 2015, he began his rookie year competing on season 8 of American Ninja Warrior and, thus, his journey to becoming one of the top athletes on the show. That season, they launched him into his athletic career with accomplishments like 8 x National Finalist and the 2020 Champion of American Ninja Warrior title. He was also selected to compete on multiple All-Stars episodes and USA VS. The World Competitions. He was a team captain of seasons 1-3 of Ninja vs. Ninja and even had the opportunity to travel abroad to compete internationally in Ninja Warrior Indonesia, representing Team USA.

This recognition and success gave Daniel opportunities to begin traveling and become a motivational speaker. His goal is to use his platform to help inspire people to get back up when they inevitably fall or fail, overcome the obstacles they will face, and never stop pursuing their God-given dreams.

The 23-year-old Jordanian-born influencer, also known as the 'Original Dubai Housewife,' has accumulated over 529,000 followers, who tune in to learn about her glamorous life. Linda, who married Ricky at the tender age of 19, has been living a life of opulence, a stark contrast to her earlier life in the US, where she grew up in a one-bedroom apartment with her family. In a video that garnered over 11 million views, Linda listed the 'worst things about being with a millionaire,' expressing concerns over 'always having to look 10/10', 'being bought too much stuff', and the fear of getting robbed due to her expansive collection of designer bags and luxury jewelry.

Despite living a life that many fantasize about, Linda shared that 'the novelty of riches can soon wear off.' The couple's constant traveling is another cause of discontent for her, along with the fact that 'women want my man' and the struggle to drive herself anywhere. Linda's complaints, however, were met with little sympathy from social media users, with many offering to trade lives with her or questioning if she was being ungrateful.

Even so, the stunning spa owner and beauty influencer continues to use her growing social media platforms to offer an insider's view of the wealthy lifestyle and promote her husband's business ventures. From the Maldives to Hawaii and Miami, Linda's Instagram showcases her travels, life of luxury, and her entrepreneurial journey as the owner of a fat-freezing spa.

Despite the pushback from some viewers on TikTok, others used humor to respond to Linda's video or expressed admiration for her lifestyle, proving once more that the opulent lives of the wealthy will always be a source of fascination and controversy.

Chef Keith Corbin is the two-time James Beard Award nominated executive chef and co-owner of Alta Adams, The Los Angeles Times bestselling author of “California Soul”, and a sought-after public speaker.

During his youth growing up in the Jordan Downs housing projects in Watts, Corbin was involved with gangs and drug dealing, which eventually lead to his incarceration. It was in prison when he first started cooking and working in kitchens, which eventually led to a job with the LocoL restaurant group run by celebrity chefs Roy Choi and Daniel Patterson. From there, Corbin partnered with Patterson on Alta Adams, a "California Soul" food restaurant utilizing local produce and healthier ingredients to put Corbin's own spin on the food he grew up cooking and eating with his grandmother. Alta was named one of the best restaurants in the country by Esquire, Thrillist, and the Los Angeles Times, and called "Black Hollywood's top restaurant" by The Hollywood Reporter.

Corbin's bestselling memoir, “California Soul: An American Epic of Cooking and Survival" was published in 2022 by Random House, named the LA Times Book Club pick of the month for August, and quickly optioned by a major studio to be made into a television series. Since the book’s release, Corbin has appeared on Dr. Phil, The CBS Morning Show, and many other national programs to share more about his incredible story and inspire others. His words have been featured across multiple media outlets including KCRW, The Grio, ABC7, Salon, Shondaland and Thrillist. In 2023, the book was nominated for a James Beard Media Award in the Literary Writing category.

Consistently giving back, Corbin regularly mentors youth from underserved communities and speaks at colleges and educational programs across the nation. Corbin has been invited to share his story from coast to coast with readers and food-fanatics alike on book tours, festivals and other inspirational events including the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Philly Chef’s Conference, Tucson Book Festival, San Diego Writer’s Festival and The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

HASARD LEE is a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot who began his career flying the F-16, where he was selected as the 'Top Instructor Pilot of the Year' for the Air Force's largest F-16 Combat Wing.

As a flight commander, he led his pilots into combat during one of the most intense periods during the War in Afghanistan. There he flew over eighty combat missions and became the only fighter pilot to ever fly two different types of jets into combat on the same day while supporting troops under fire.

Hasard was then hand-picked to fly the F-35―the most advanced and expensive weapons system in history―which was still in development at the time. During his last role on active duty, Hasard became the Chief of Training Systems for the largest training base in the world, leading the development of new technology and teaching methods to train future fighter pilots.

Hasard's first book, "The Art of Clear Thinking," was a #2 Wall Street Journal Bestseller. In the book, he distills what he’s learned during his career flying some of the Air Force’s most advanced aircraft. With gripping firsthand accounts from his time as a fighter pilot and fascinating turning points throughout history, Hasard reveals powerful decision-making principles that can be used in business and in life.

Barbara Butcher was early in her recovery from alcoholism when she found an unexpected lifeline: a job at the Medical Examiner’s Office in New York City. The second woman ever hired for the role of Death Investigator in Manhattan, she was the first to last more than three months. The work was gritty, demanding, morbid, and sometimes dangerous—and she loved it. WHAT THE DEAD KNOW: Learning About Life as a New York City Death Investigator is the page-turning memoir of Barbara Butcher’s more than twenty-year career.

Butcher (yes, that is her real name, and she has heard all the jokes) spent day in and day out investigating double homicides, gruesome suicides, and most heartbreaking of all, underage rape victims who had also been murdered. In WHAT THE DEAD KNOW, she writes with the kind of New York attitude and bravado you might expect from decades in the field, investigating more than 5,500 death scenes, 680 of which were homicides. In the opening chapter, she describes how just from sheer luck of having her arm in cast, she avoided a boobytrapped suicide. Later in her career, she describes working the nation’s largest mass murder, the attack on 9/11, where she and her colleagues initially relied on family members’ descriptions to help distinguish among the 21,900 body parts of the victims.

This is the fascinating and stunning real-life story of a woman who, in dealing with death every day, learned surprising lessons about life—and how some of those lessons saved her from becoming a statistic herself. Fans of Kathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell, and true crime won’t be able to put this one down.

George Noory, host of the nationally syndicated program, Coast to Coast AM, says if he weren’t a national radio talk show host he’d be in politics. Heard by millions of listeners, Coast To Coast AM airs on nearly 620 stations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Guam.

While hosting The Nighthawk, a wildly successful, late-night program on KTRS in St. Louis, Noory was recruited by Premiere Radio Networks to guest host on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell. He became the permanent host of the phenomenally successful over-night program on January 1, 2003, following Bell’s retirement. Since then, Noory’s audience has continued to grow.

Noory captivates program listeners with his discussions of paranormal phenomena, time travel, alien abductions, conspiracies and all things curious and unexplained. He is driven, he has said, by the desire to solve the great mysteries of our time. From his first days as a radio broadcaster he says, “I’ve wanted to cover stories that the mainstream media never touch—the unusual, the paranormal and things like that. I learned that broadcast was the best business for exploring these issues, and I’ve been doing it for 33 years.”

He dates his interest in these matters to a book by Walter Sullivan, We Are Not Alone, that his mother gave him when he was 13. He was hooked.

Noory released his first book in 2006. "Worker In The Light: Unlock Your Five Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential," co-written by best-selling author William J. Birnes, is Noory’s revolutionary guide to spiritual enlightenment, human empowerment, ultimate productivity and absolute happiness. Noory and Birnes co-authored a follow up in 2009 entitled Journey to the Light, in which they present amazing first-hand accounts of how ordinary people changed their own lives, transcended their doubts and fears, and unlocked the secrets to their spiritual growth. In October 2011, Noory released his third book, Talking To The Dead. Co-written by Rosemary Ellen Guiley, a leading expert on the paranormal and supernatural, the book explores the colorful history and personalities behind spirit communications, weaving together spirituality, metaphysics, science and technology. Noory, along with Richard Belzer and David Wayne, released "Someone is Hiding Something: What Happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?" in February 2015. Scrutinizing the theories the media and politicians claim are the "most likely" reasons the plane crashed, they argue that if a year after a huge Boeing 777 has gone missing, and there’s still no sign of it whatsoever, it’s time to think outside the box.

In December 2012, GAIAM TV launched "Beyond Belief with George Noory," a new TV show exploring the unknown and mysteries of the universe. The one-hour, weekly series features Noory’s informative, investigative and dynamic conversations, as well as some of his favorite guests from the radio program. Taped at GAIAM studios in Boulder, Colo., Beyond Belief with George Noory is available exclusively at beyondbelief.com. Noory has also appeared on the History Channel's Ancient Aliens, SYFY, The Larry King Show and numerous others.

He was born, raised and educated in Detroit. He has three children and six grandchildren. He served nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve.

RAFAEL MOSCATEL is the author of the best-selling business book Tomorrow’s Jobs Today and director of The Little Girl with the Big Voice, a critically acclaimed documentary. His third book, The Bastard of Beverly Hills, a memoir, will be published in 2023 by JIA Publishing.

Raised in Los Angeles, California, by a Sephardic family from the Isle of Rhodes, Rafael spent the first thirty years of his life in relative darkness, unaware that he’d been given up for adoption. A long, winding, emotional journey back home, not to four walls but to a place he could finally feel comfortable in his own skin, forced him to examine his sordid past through a sobering and heartbreaking lens. His amusing yet often tragic struggles with abandonment, addiction, and faith, recounted first in a documentary about his biological kin and now in a new memoir about his adopted family, remind us all of our spiritual strength and serve as a testament to the power of hope, forgiveness, and redemption.

The engineer known as the “space mechanic” speaks to both our future and past in this breathless memoir of his journey from Ecuador to NASA and beyond.

Elio Morillo’s life is abruptly spun out of orbit when economic collapse and personal circumstances compel his mother to flee Ecuador for the United States in search of a better future for her son. His itinerant childhood sets into motion a migration that will ultimately carry Elio to the farthest expanse of human endeavor: space.

Overcoming a history of systemic adversity and inequality in public education, Elio forged ahead on a journey as indebted to his galactic dreams as to a loving mother whose sacrifices safeguarded the ground beneath his feet. Today, Elio is helping drive human expansion into the solar system and promote the future of human innovation—from AI and robotics to space infrastructure and equitable access.

The Boy Who Reached the Stars is both a cosmic and intimate memoir spun from a constellation of memories, reflections, and intrepid curiosity, as thoroughly luminous as the stars above.

Material technology, without spiritual knowledge, is leading us to a global catastrophe on Earth. Technology should assist in the spiritual development and not be used (as it is used now) to confine and enslave people within a monetary system and materialistic world, which are both temporary anyway. No matter how much we defend our current beliefs, doctrines, and traditions, nothing can change the truth and the order established in the universe. Believing is not enough.

You need to know:

  • The purpose of the universe and our life on Earth.
  • True dangers in life, surpassing the atomic destruction.
  • Conscious reincarnation, life after death, Big Bang, creation, evolution, astral travel, telepathy, levitation, development of the mind, aura and its significance.
  • Over 1.3 million years of past civilizations on Earth.
  • Knowledge and sciences lost on Earth.
  • The Great Pyramid as a cosmic tool.
  • Life on Mars and in our galaxy.
  • A parallel universe on Earth.
  • The Bermuda Triangle.
  • Space travel by transubstantiation.

Stephen Friend had his dream job as an FBI special agent. After nearly a decade of combating violent crime, human trafficking, and child predators, he was reassigned to the FBI’s unprecedented investigation of the political unrest at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. Friend soon uncovered efforts by the FBI and Department of Justice to manipulate statistics and exaggerate the nationwide threat of domestic terrorism. Friend spotlighted how the politicized FBI was cooking the books to support an ongoing narrative from the Joe Biden administration to label Donald Trump voters as violent extremists. Friend witnessed overzealous practices to harass conservative Americans and realized the FBI was turning its investigative processes into a punishment. When the married father of two made his bombshell allegations in a whistleblower disclosure, leaders within the FBI exposed themselves as partisan, ambitious players who insisted that January 6th protestors killed police officers and attempted to seize American democracy. Hell-bent on suppressing Friend from exposing the truth, FBI officials seized his gun and badge and suspended him from working as a special agent. In this memoir, Friend reflects on the lessons and life experiences that led him to ultimately risk his career to uphold his FBI special agent oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution against all enemies—both foreign and domestic. After working my way up the ladder in the television sports world—hosting and reporting at some of the greatest events the past two decades—it was time for a change. Even though the change wasn’t by my design, it was still very much needed.

As a successful two-sport athlete growing up in Arkansas, pursuing a career in this industry made perfect sense. By the time I made it to the network level covering golf exclusively, it finally felt as though I had credibility. Why do we as women struggle with our own validity significantly more than our male counterparts?

Golf has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I won my first of four Arkansas Women’s State Championships at the age of 14—still the youngest in state history—and was a two-time AJGA First-Team All-American. But perhaps what I’m most proud of is being the first scholarship player in women’s golf at the University of Arkansas in the post-Title IX era.

My television career included stops in Mississippi, Tennessee, Ohio, and then Chicago working for the Big Ten Network. But my big break happened in 2014 when I landed what was supposed to be my dream job at Golf Channel. Little did I know how quickly that would all change. As I would soon learn, the misogynistic, boys’ club culture—which had plagued the network from its early days—was still running rampant throughout the company. Unfortunately, many of those in the executive offices and on the management team only perpetuated these deeply-rooted problems.

Soon after making my story public on January 1, 2021, as detailed in the Washington Post, upwards of 30 women reached out to me privately about their own encounters of mistreatment. Sadly, most of these women have been unable to speak out because of Non-Disclosure Agreements they signed after losing their jobs. Others are afraid that voicing their struggles will blackball them in the industry moving forward. Trust me, I understand. Either way, it’s both heartbreaking and infuriating.

My hope is that by revealing these truths in my soon-to-be-released memoir, Troublemaker, it unites women and brings about change; that the people running companies who repeatedly make unfair decisions toward women and minorities finally get exposed and are forced to change—or cast aside if unwilling to do so; that HR departments around the world become places that protect the employees, not their employers. It’s astonishing how many people lack any sort of faith in their own HR departments to make their work lives better.

I want Troublemaker to serve as a reminder to these persecutors that we aren’t going away. I want it to empower women who’ve been silenced out of fear of losing their jobs to speak up and to do it loudly. As Elie Wiesel so poignantly once said, “Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”

May we all be (good) “troublemakers” together so that one day books like this will no longer be necessary.

James Talley is an Oklahoma born folk-country-blues singer/songwriter, whose career now spans over forty years. His name has been mentioned alongside Woody Guthrie, Merle Haggard and Bob Dylan, and praised for the quality of his songwriting and his wise, expressive voice. Noted author and music critic, Peter Guralnick has said of James’ work, “There are few singer-songwriters who could produce a collection of such magnitude coupled at the same time with such lightness, beauty, and all-out social conscience. Woody Guthrie never wrote a more direct or affecting song than “Richland, Washington”; Bruce Springsteen never wrote a more powerful one than “Tryin’ Like the Devil.”

Upon moving to Nashville, James discovered that the commercial music business was not attuned to the kind of honesty he wrote about in his songs, so he went to New York to meet the late John Hammond, who became his first mentor. Hammond championed the unique vision in his writing in the early 1970s as he had the careers of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen.

Hammond, however, could not convince Columbia in New York to sign James’ more country-flavored sound, so he sent him to his friend Jerry Wexler, whose Atlantic Records was starting a new Country division in Nashville at the time. Wexler signed James to his first recording contract at Atlantic Records in 1972 along with Doug Sahm and Willie Nelson. Atlantic’s Nashville operation, however, did not do well at the time and Atlantic closed its Nashville office. James then moved to Capitol Records where he released four now legendary albums during the mid-1970s: Got No Bread, No Milk, No Money, But We Sure Got a Lot of Love (1975); Tryin’ Like The Devil (1976); Blackjack Choir (1977) and Ain’t It Somthin’ (1977). ROLLING STONE, and other music publications, have declared these albums American classics.

James performed twice at The White House for President Jimmy Carter, and at the Smithsonian Institution, and in other concert venues around the United States and in Europe. B.B. King played guitar on James third album, Blackjack Choir, in 1976, marking the first time the legendary bluesman had ever recorded in Nashville. Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck, Alan Jackson, Hazel Dickens, the late Gene Clark, and most recently Moby, among others, have recorded his songs.

Music author David McGee has called James Talley’s work startlingly original. Legendary music producer, Jerry Wexler, who remained friends with James until his death, said, “You remain for me one of America’s greatest songwriters.” CMT columnist, Chet Flippo, called him “one of the best singer-songwriters to ever come out of Nashville.”

James is a life member of Nashville Local 257, American Federation of Musicians, and is a board member of the Nashville American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He and Janice spend their time now between their home near Santa Fe, NM and Nashville.

"We Will Always Grow If We Let The Light Guide Us."

I have been fascinated with death, the deceased, and the afterlife for as long as I can recall. There I was, just a young boy, seeing spirits and not knowing what to make of it! Despite my panic and fear, I thought these experiences were “normal.” I mean, didn’t every kid at school see them too? Sadly, no, others were not experiencing what I did. Even more frustrating was that I couldn’t find the right words to explain the feeling and sensation inside me when it happened. My mom would tell me I had watched too many scary movies. After a while, I started to accept her well-intentioned, rational explanations, and these experiences eventually faded away.

Then my world ended at the age of 14 when I suffered what I thought at the time was a horrible tragedy. Little did I know it would lead me on my life’s journey. My mom and I lived on opposite coasts when she suddenly fell ill, and I raced to her with barely enough time before she passed away. Upon her death, I was at a loss for words. How could she be gone? Two days later, I woke in the middle of the night to see my mom standing before my bed in spirit. I can still remember opening my eyes and seeing the room illuminated with a beautiful light. I thought I was dreaming at first but soon realized this was no dream. She spoke to me and told me she was all better and not to worry about her anymore. Over the next three years, my fascination with her death and this experience compelled me to research it further and investigate “the other side.”

I remember an experience hanging out with some friends and randomly walking into a psychic’s reading room, part of a strip mall. Before I could open my mouth, the psychic began to tell me that I was highly gifted but not ready to accept this truth about myself just yet. It would be a few years before I truly understood what she meant. Soon after I turned 18, and after feeling more and more drawn for answers, I found myself alone, attending a lecture on mediumship, or at least I thought this was a lecture. I soon realized that it was a class on developing your psychic skills and that this particular night was a special class on mediumship. How convenient! The moment I walked in, the two teachers greeted me, and both marveled at how my energy filled the room.

This lovely middle-aged woman asked me a question, and one of the teachers instructed me to close my eyes and then say what I was seeing, feeling, hearing, etc. I did precisely that, but it didn’t feel special; it was just what she told me to do. When I opened my eyes, though, the nice woman was shocked, speechless, and couldn’t believe all the validations I had just shared with her.

They referred to my suddenly validated gift as "the golden link" to the other side, and I made it my mission to hone my skills by practicing with friends. Within one month of doing professional readings, I finally accepted this was a part of who I am. This gift was my true calling, and I was grateful for the opportunity to help others.

Attorney Justin Brooks is known for the extensive legal work he has done over many years to overturn wrongful criminal convictions. He has dedicated his career to this cause and currently serves as the Director and Co-Founder of the California Innocence Project. He has practiced in the area of criminal defense in many states, including Michigan and Illinois. He has also taught courses at Georgetown Law Center and Thomas M. Cooley Law School and is presently a tenured professor at California Western School of Law. Justin Brooks is also the author of the only legal case book focused on the topic of wrongful convictions.

Justin has received a number of accolades throughout his career, including the designation as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, as well as receiving recognition as “Lawyer of the Year” in 2010 and 2012 by California Lawyer Magazine. He has also worked in Latin America to train lawyers for the past twenty years. As a co-founder of Red Inocente, an organization that is devoted to founding and supporting various innocence organizations in Latin America, he continues to devote his career to the cause of overturning wrongful criminal convictions.

The Exoneration of Brian Banks

Justin Brooks and The California Innocence Project worked tirelessly to overturn the wrongful conviction of Brian Banks, who was charged with rape and kidnapping after a consensual sexual encounter. At the time, Brian Banks was only seventeen years old and was widely considered to have a bright future playing football in the NFL. The false rape accusation drastically changed the course of his life, as he was faced with the difficult decision of choosing whether to proceed to trial and risk forty-one years to life in prison if found guilty or to accept a plea deal for just over five years in prison. Brian chose to accept the plea deal, which also came with the cost of destroying his dream of playing football and requiring him to register as a sex offender.

Together with The California Innocence Project, attorney Justin Brooks presented evidence of Brian Banks’ innocence of these crimes. Evidence in his favor included the alleged victim stating that she fabricated the story. After another review of the evidence, the District Attorney’s Office agreed that Banks was wrongfully convicted; and in May of 2012, a judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court reversed his conviction.

Banks’ story has a particularly happy ending. After his exoneration, Justin Brooks spoke out to the press on behalf of his client and asked NFL teams to give Brian a chance at playing football. Shortly after, Brian received calls from six different NFL teams expressing interest.

Ultimately, Brian Banks played for the Cincinnati Bengals during one NFL season. Though his time playing in the NFL was brief; following the 2013 football season, Brian accepted a position working for the NFL’s Department of Operations in the replay center. In this position, he also helped contribute to the league’s social media.

Brian’s story garnered such public interest that his story was made into a film which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in September of 2018. The movie features Academy Award-nominated actor Greg Kinnear playing the role of Professor Justin Brooks, and will premiere in the US in August 2019.

Amy Loughren is an American reiki master and former registered nurse who is known for assisting in the arrest and prosecution of serial murderer Charlie Cullen.

Before his apprehension, Cullen and Loughren were friends who both worked the night shift in the intensive care unit at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey. Loughren was a single mother of two children and hiding her cardiomyopathy rom her employers, with some help from Cullen, in whom she confided.

In 2003, Loughren was approached by detectives who suspected Cullen of poisoning hospital patients. The patient who triggered law enforcement interest was Florian Gall. As a patient at Somerset Medical, Gall had been improving, then he suddenly died of a massive heart attack. An autopsy showed that he had been administered digoxin. It was not on his prescription list. In small doses, digoxin can improve heart function, but the amount Gall had received was lethal. After consulting with her 11-year-old daughter, Loughren agreed to assist law enforcement.

Independent of the police investigation, Loughren noticed that Cullen's medical charting was irregular. It was at points muddled and hasty, and there were frequent misspellings. The hospital's tracking system also showed Loughren that Cullen spent unusual amounts of time on the files of other nurses' patients.

As part of the investigation into Cullen, Loughren met with him at a diner, wearing a wire. Because she had just had a pacemaker installed, police did not want her to wear the wire, but she insisted. “The truth is I didn’t know how this would affect my heart, but I knew I needed to go in there and get that confession,” she said in an interview with Vanity Fair. During Loughren's meeting with Cullen in the diner, he did not overtly admit to the murders, but he said that he would "go down fighting." The evidence from the meeting allowed police to then arrest Cullen. After he was arrested, Loughren encouraged him to make a full confession, which then supported his convictions for 29 murders.

Loughren struggled with the fact that her friend was a serial murderer and with her role in apprehending him: "And he wasn't a mercy killer. He was a cold-blooded murderer. And for me to not have seen that, I really did struggle."

Author, Catalyst, and Executive Coach Laura Gassner Otting inspires people to push past the doubt and indecision that keep great ideas in limbo by helping audiences think bigger and accept greater challenges that reach beyond their current, limited scope of belief.

She delivers strategic thinking, well-honed wisdom, and perspective generated by decades of navigating change across the start-up, corporate, nonprofit, political, as well as philanthropic landscapes. Laura dares audiences to find their voice, and generate the confidence needed to tackle larger-than-life challenges by helping them to seek new ways of leading, managing, and mentoring others.

Laura’s rebellious and entrepreneurial edge has been well-honed over a 25-year career that started when she dropped out of law school to join an unknown southern governor’s presidential campaign, and ended up as a Presidential Appointee in Bill Clinton’s White House, where she helped shape AmeriCorps.

She left a leadership role as the youngest Vice President at a nationally respected search firm when she realized that her boss’s definition of success didn’t align with hers and, instead, founded and ran one of the fastest growing search firms in the country, partnering with the full gamut of mission-driven executives, from start-up dreamers to scaling social entrepreneurs to global philanthropists. In 2015, Laura sold that firm to the team who helped her build it, both because she was hungry for the next chapter and because she held an audacious dream of electing our nation’s first female president. (Whomp whomp.)

Since that time, Laura has appeared regularly on Good Morning America and the TODAY Show, and her writing has been seen in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, HR Magazine. Laura is the author of Limitless: How to Ignore Everybody, Carve Your Own Path, and Live Your Best Life (2019), which debuted at #2 on the Washington Post bestseller list (right behind Michelle Obama), has been translated into Arabic, Korean, Turkish, Portuguese, and German, and which Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts chose as one of her Favorite Books of 2019, as well as Mission-Driven: Moving from Profit to Purpose (2015). Her forthcoming book, Wonderhell, is expected in April 2023.

Through her own commitment to give back, Laura has helped build a local Montessori school, co-founded a women’s philanthropic initiative, advised a start-up national women’s PAC, grew a citizen-leadership development program, and completed five charity-inspired marathons, projects emblematic of her passions and values. She’s turned on by the audacity of The Big Idea and that larger-than-life goal you just can’t seem to shake. She’s an instigator, a motivator, and a provocateur, and she’s never met a revolution she didn’t like, just ask her enduringly patient husband, two almost-grown sons, and troublesome puppy with whom she lives outside of Boston, MA.

John Illsley is an English musician who rose to fame as the bass guitarist of the critically acclaimed band Dire Straits. With Dire Straits, John has been the recipient of multiple BRIT and Grammy Awards and a Heritage Award. As one of the founding band members, with Mark Knopfler, his brother David and drummer Pick Withers, John played a major role in the development of the Dire Straits’ sound.

Throughout it all, John and Mark were the only founding members to remain in the line up of Dire Straits right through from 1977 until they decided to call it a day in 1995. They still remain close friends and recently produced a programme “Guitar Stories” for Sky Arts.

During their time together as Dire Straits they sold over 120 million albums and toured extensively across the world. When Dire Straits took a couple of well earned breaks John released two albums; Never Told a Soul (1984) and Glass (1988). Both featured Mark Knopfler as a guest musician.

John happened upon the Irish band Cunla in a Leicestershire pub in March 2005. He appeared with them on several occasions, most notably on 23 September 2006 at Cathedrale d’Image in Les Baux de Provence, France. The performance was recorded and subsequently released as an album, Live in Les Baux, in 2007.

In October 2008 John released Beautiful You, an album with Greg Pearle from Cunla and followed the release with a a short tour of Ireland. May 2010 saw the release of Streets of Heaven, with appearances from Mark Knopfler and a host of other musicians. The album was recorded at British Grove studios and produced by John and Guy Fletcher.

John signed Native Roses to his label, Creek Publishing, in February 2011. He produced their debut album alongside Guy Fletcher between December 2011 and July 2012.

When Dire Straits finished touring in 1993 John became heavily involved in the Art world. Having carved a reputation for himself as a painter, John had solo exhibitions in London, New York, Sydney and across Europe. He also co-founded the children’s charity Life Education in 1987 which recently was integrated into Coram, one of the oldest UK charities.

John also owns a pub, the East End Arms in the New Forest.

Zion Clark was born September 29th 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. with a rare birth defect called Caudal Regression Syndrome which caused him to be born without legs. Given up for adoption at birth with a mother not fit to take care of him and no father, Zion had to fend for himself from a young age. His childhood was a recipe for disaster, bouncing around between the foster care system and being labelled a problem child caused the system to give up on him early. Zion didn’t let his stop him from learning new skills, he picked up wrestling and music as at a young age which became his outlet from an abusive living situation. Through resiliency and consistently Zion continued to figure out his way of approaching some of these passions and earned his position as an All-American wrestler, and lead drummer of his church. He continues to defy all odds with his optimistic approach and no excuses mentality he embodies.

Zion was introduced to the sport of wrestling while in elementary school, but initially didn't fare very well...in fact, he didn't win a match for several years. Upon entering Massillon High School, Zion met Coach Gil Donahue who recognized his passion for the sport and relentless work ethic. A wonderful friendship and bond was forged.

Over the next 3 years Zion improved his wrestling technique and hit the weight room like a man possessed. An amazing transformation followed!

In his senior year, Zion finished the season 33-15 and was one match from qualifying for the D-I Ohio High School State Wrestling Championships. In an incredible display of heart and determination, Zion wrestled his opponent (a 20 pd. weight differential) beyond the grueling 6 minutes of regulation and 2 overtimes...only to fall 1-0 in sudden death.

The fans in the packed gymnasium rose to their feet and zealously applauded Zion's courageous effort. A few months later Zion went on to capture his second high school track wheelchair racing title at the state championships.

Zion was recruited by several colleges to wrestle and chose to attend Kent State (Tuscarawas)...where he spent the following 2 years steadily improving his skills and finding success at the varsity level.

With his confidence and national ranking on the rise, Zion decided to embark on his toughest mission to date...becoming the first American Athlete to compete in both the Olympic (wrestling) and Paralympic (wheelchair racing) Games in Tokyo (2020).

Understanding the magnitude of this difficult challenge, Zion has surrounded himself with a very dedicated and highly supportive team...including budding friendships with Olympic/World Champion Jordan Burroughs and undefeated (133-0) 4x NCAA titleist Joey Davis.

Due to his tremendous upper body strength and athleticism, Zion is also pursuing interests in power lifting (bench press), wheelchair bodybuilding, and the circus arts.

Zion's herculean efforts hadn't gone unnoticed as a Hollywood producer documented his journey during senior year. The film "Zion" garnered critical acclaim at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival (2018) and global media exposure (it's currently available on Netflix).

In addition to his brutal training/practice regimen, Zion stays busy as a motivational speaker.

How oona do? (Gullah Geechee for “How are you?”)

I’m a Singer/Songwriter/Writer/Performer. My creative and performance energies for more than 30 years have filled many with cultural appreciation and celebration and also encouragement and joy!

For my original songs, writings, performances, and presentations, I’ve been recognized as a cultural preservationist. If you in any way have found meaning, understanding, \or Aha!-moments about Gullah Geechee culture or heritage through any of my efforts, I am deeply honored!

I’m about making a difference. Sharing truth. Using that “big voice” that I’ve had since I was a young boy leading spirituals and gospel songs in my St. Helena Island, SC, community. Making listeners feel the lyrics and not just hear them. Writing and performing songs with stories that are keen and piercing and sometimes jes plain jokey (or rather, fun).

“An outstanding mountaineering memoir” My first memories involve spending long days outside exploring the woods and cornfields around my childhood home with my dog and Sister.  These explorations were all at sea level as the highest point in my home state of Illinois is 1,235 feet.  Gradually my explorations led me to Seattle where the allure of Mt. Rainier drew me to the mountains.  After standing on its summit in 2009, I knew that mountaineering would become a significant part of my life.  I am still drawn to the physical and mental challenge of mountaineering and I relish the sense of accomplishment that comes with a successful climb, even if it doesn't include the summit.

In the mountains I learned resilience, and self reliance, and built my confidence as a climber and as a woman.  My strength, and confidence were tested when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.  Through treatments and surgeries I drew upon the things that I had learned as a climber - to focus on what I could control, to surround myself with a strong team, and to keep moving forward even when things felt bleak.  While I was fighting cancer, the mountains took on a broader meaning for me as I also found tremendous healing there.

Beating cancer provoked me to evaluate the trajectory of my life, and in 2016 I made the excruciating and terrifying decision to put my secure, hard-earned corporate career on hold in order to pursue other passions.

Today, I am grateful to enjoy a life of mountain climbing, writing and speaking.  I am inspired by sharing with others the story of how climbing gave me the strength to beat cancer.

Playing the hand you’ve been dealt isn’t just a figure of speech for Richard Turner... it’s a way of life.

Turner, 68, lives in San Antonio, Texas, and is regarded as the best card mechanic and among the best up-close magicians in the world. His talent, humor, poise and eloquence has made him a highly sought after stage entertainer and Fortune 500 motivational speaker. He has entertained and entranced millions of people, including celebrities such as Johnny Carson, Bob Hope, Secretary of State Colin Powell, actor Brad Pitt, sports legend Muhammad Ali, and many more.

Richard has been nominated for and won many awards, including the highly-coveted “Close-up Magician of the Year Award" (the magic industry’s equivalent of the Oscar.) His unparalleled skill with a deck of cards has been repeatedly featured on world-wide television shows, including a performance on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” wherein Penn Jillette admitted, “Richard Turner is one of the finest slight-of-hand artists who has ever lived. He fooled us with every single move he did!”

In addition to being the world’s most skilled card shark, Turner is a 6th degree karate black belt. His black belt test – ten rounds, each lasting three minutes, against a fresh opponent every round – was so grueling it was televised and featured on the front page of the Los Angeles Times Sports Section.

Turner has also designed and created a series of board and puzzle games, and produced a bestselling DVD series on advanced card technique that is studied by casinos and card players worldwide. Due to his remarkably delicate “feel” for individual playing cards, he has been the Touch Analyst for U.S. Playing Card Co., the largest card manufacturer in the country, known for producing the finest quality cards preferred by professional magicians and gamers.

But what makes all of Turner’s accomplishments truly incredible is that he is blind – and has been since childhood. Turner contracted a retina degeneration disease when he was nine, and his sight quickly diminished. “One day I could see the blackboard, the next day I couldn’t,” he says.

As a teenager, Turner’s anger and despair over his blindness drove him to drugs, and then to drug dealing. He found at an early age, however, that being blind empowered him to develop an enhanced sense of touch, and once he picked up a deck of cards, his life changed.

“I developed my mind’s eye to an exceptional degree,” Turner says. “And I tested myself through the risky mental and physical challenges of martial arts fighting, shark hunting, cliff-diving, and the high-stakes of underworld gambling.”

Turner is like no one else on the planet, so his story is similarly unique. Like his incredible mind, his adventures transcend time and space. As such, his story focuses on his almost superhuman physical abilities, his martial arts prowess and his wizardly card skills, all as the framework for his life story.

A frequent guest on all of the late night talk shows, Alan’s theatrical contributions include his collaboration with Billy Crystal on the Tony Award winning play “700 Sundays,” Martin Short’s Broadway hit “Fame Becomes Me,” and six off- Broadway plays including “Bunny Bunny Bunny Bunny: A Sort of a Love Story – Gilda Radner: A Sort of Romantic Comedy” which he adapted from his best-selling book.

All told, Alan has written eleven books including the 2006 Thurber Prize winning novel “The Other Shulman,” the popular children’s book “Our Tree Named Steve,” and a parody of the Haggadah titled “For This We Left Egypt?” that he wrote with Dave Barry and Adam Mansbach.

Alan’s humor has also appeared in such diverse publications as The New Yorker, Esquire, The Atlantic Monthly, the New York Times Op-Ed page, The Huffington Post and MAD Magazine. He has also penned a best selling e-book titled  “From My Bottom Drawer.”

The co-writer of the screenplays for the films “Dragnet,” “North,” and “The Story of Us,” Alan received an honorary PhD from the State University of New York and because of the diversity of his body of work, in 2010 the Writers Guild of America, East gave him a Lifetime Achievement Award.

In addition to the talk shows, Alan also appeared in episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Law & Order,” and can be seen in the documentary “The Last Laugh” about humor and the Holocaust; Judd Apatow’s “Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling,” on HBO; “Gilbert” about the life of Gilbert Gottfried; and the Emmy nominated CNN documentary he executive produced titled “Love, Gilda.”

Taking to the stage himself, Alan is an ensemble performer at New York’s Triad Theater in Celebrity Autobiography — and is also a sought after keynote speaker.

Alan is currently preparing “Bunny Bunny” for a return to the New York stage. Most recently, his cultural memoir “Laugh Lines – My Life Helping Funny People Be Funnier” was published by Abrams Books, and a feature film he co-wrote with Billy Crystal titled “Here Today” that stars Crystal and Tiffany Haddish can be seen on Amazon Prime and Apple TV, among other platforms.

But the production that Alan is most proud of is the one he co-created with his wife Robin, their three children and five grandchildren.

Gianni Russo has made a career of playing tough guys. Although remembered most for his portrayal of Carlo Rizzi in “The Godfather”, his first acting job, his career has spanned over 40 films including such hits as The Freshman, Rush Hour, Any Given Sunday and Sea Biscuit as well as television roles in Kojak, The Rockford Files and Prison Break. And most recent.. due out this fall “Send No Flowers”.

Russo believes it’s his crooning that separates him from the mob of other on-screen wise guys. His debut CD Reflections paid homage to such legendary singers as Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. These icons inspired him both personally and professionally. The CD, which is available on iTunes and Amazon.com contains a bonus track where Russo reminisces about the behind-the-scenes drama that took place during the filming of “The Godfather”. Russo travels the country with his orchestra to sold out appearances performing the music that has influenced his Life. His follow up CD was released in June 2010, and his self titled wine label Gianni Russo Wines launched nationally in 2009.

Born in Manhattan and raised in Little Italy and Staten Island, Russo overcame polio as a child to start his first “business” at the tender age of twelve, selling pens and erasers on the street corners. At eighteen Russo made his first trip to Miami, where he began to dabble in show-business, working in nightclubs and hotspots before deciding to pursue acting and move to Hollywood.

Russo’s colorful life is currently being adapted into a feature film by producer Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Horrible Bosses, Red Dragon, and is currently filming the sequel to King Kong). Screenplay was written by George Gallo of “Midnight Run” fame, “Bad Boys” and “Middle Men”, and to be directed by Barry Levinson of “Diner” & “Taxi” fame. Available now is disk 1 of “The Godfather Stories By: Carlo Rizzi a.k.a. Gianni Russo”, with 9 more volumes coming soon!

Mr. Russo currently resides in New York, and this summer is doing personal appearances throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Panama.

When Mark was six, his mother took him in to Manhattan every weekend for singing and ballet lessons. When he returned to school each Monday and showed his fellow Bronx classmates what he had learned, the class would gather around and beat him up. Mark’s mother smartened up and enrolled him in karate lessons, but those came to a halt when the karate teacher beat him up. When Mark was twelve, his parents took him to a nightclub. There, live on stage was Rodney Dangerfield doing his act. At that moment, he knew the path he had to follow. Mark has headlined in all the major casinos and clubs across the country and has appeared many times on both The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with David Letterman. He has had both HBO and Showtime specials and has been the featured act at the Montreal Comedy Festival. He has written for and guest-starred on Mad About You, as well as appearing on Empty Nest and serving as a writer on The Roseanne Show. SGT. BRETT D’ALESSANDRO RETURNED HOME FROM A SEVEN-MONTH DEPLOYMENT IN AFGHANISTAN TO WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS THE END OF A LONG ROAD, AND HE QUICKLY LEARNED THAT AN EVEN LONGER ROAD FILLED WITH STRUGGLE AND CONFUSION LAY AHEAD.After a challenging deployment, Brett came home and was thrown into the process of reintegrating into civilian Life. He struggled to figure out his next steps - going back to school, finding a job, or continuing with his military career. During this time, Brett was also struggling with his health - mentally and physically. His spouse, Alexa, was by his side but felt unequipped and uneducated in how to best support him through this transition. It was a chance encounter with a homeless veteran on the streets of Rhode Island that turned Brett and Alexa’s entire situation around…

While on his way to a doctor’s appointment at the Newport Naval Base in Rhode Island, Brett was driving when he saw a homeless veteran on the side of the road. That day, Brett distributed his backpack from deployment to this veteran filled with socks and warming layers. From this simple act…Backpacks For Life was born. Something resonated with Brett. It wasn’t just him or those he was deployed with or this man on the side of the road…it was MANY veterans nationwide who had to deal with the trauma of coming home and not knowing where to turn. Brett took this moment as a sign to do more and be more for his fellow servicemen and women.

Since 2014, BFL has been dedicated to serving homeless and at-risk veterans through backpack distribution and a mentorship program. The BFL team works one-on-one with veterans to help them find the right supportive services for their situation. The process is aided by countless hours of personal interaction and the physical distribution of backpacks. Backpacks represent the first line of defense, a symbol of hope, and so much more to the team at Backpacks For Life.

Quentin Ravenel can play drums like he has six arms. It’s that while he’s pulling off a dizzying series of fills, beats, and rhythms, he’s also singing. As the leader and focal point of his group, Quentin Ravenel & Friends, he can go from a soulful falsetto to a gospel shout, all while striking his drums, cymbals, and programmed pads with relish and precision.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Ravenel is part of a musical family. “I come from a line of singers and musicians. My mom Helen Freeman is a well-known singer around the Lowcountry,” he says. “And my little brother Stephen Freeman tours playing keyboards for Mary J. Blige.”

In fact, in terms of his singing, Ravenel lists his mom as his biggest influence, along with some perhaps surprising bigger names. “Anderson Paak is one of my favorite artists,” says Ravenel, who also drums for another CPMA winner, Ben Fagan & the Holy City Hooligans. “He plays drums and sings and raps, and he recently got signed by Dr. Dre. I could go on for days, but I’m also influenced by Ben Fagan and Chris Brown.”

When it comes to percussionists who motivated him to play in his youth (he learned to play drums before he learned to sing), he cites a similarly wide range of inspiration. “Eric Moore (Suicidal Tendencies, Bobby Brown, Diddy) has had a huge influence on my playing,” he says. “So have Buddy Rich, Dennis Chambers, Mitch Mitchell, and Nate Smith.”

As for doing two jobs at once, Ravenel says it’s just a matter of hard work. “Well, it’s far from easy,” he says. “It’s taken years of practice to be able to do them both. I would say my biggest challenge is choosing the right songs that I can execute gracefully as I play the drums — that and remembering lyrics.”

Tina Clarke "When I was young I was very sensitive and intuitive
I picked up on information that most people weren’t aware of
I was afraid of my gifts and blocked them
I had no teachers to teach me or guide me
I had to find my own way
I tried to do what my parents expected and went to school and got a good job
But I was still unhappy and dissatisfied
I could not fit my round peg into their square whole
I couldn’t not not think outside the box
I had so many ideas and so many possible solutions but no one to hear me or consider it
I realized in order to change the world I had to do it my way, not within the confines of someone else’s organization and their rules and processes
The worlds I travel in are beyond this reality but very much real
I can travel to the spirit world and get answers, guidance and healing
I can use energy healing to help shift healing in others
I can teach others to heal themselves and their loved ones
I can access divine wisdom through tools like meditation, Tarot and shamanism
I can teach others to do this as well
I can work with the land and help clear and heal, therein healing all living sentients on the planet
I continue to challenge myself, study and learn new ways to help myself, my clients and my loved ones
This is about a journey, not as just an individual, but also as a collective and I am here to guide, assist and evolve with my brothers and sisters of the human, animal and plant worlds. All my work contributes to this.
Amen, Aho and So It IS!"

***Jeremy was born in Kenosha Wisconsin where he was always cracking jokes at a young age. In school he was quickly labeled as a class clown but also still loved by his teachers. As Jeremy got older he began working in customer service and always had fun with his coworkers and jokes and pranks were always involved. In 2008, Jeremy, now living in Winona, Minnesota got married to Brittany Stinson. In 2010, Jeremy started to work with his father at Sauk City Specialty Products, which is now known at Kickass Snacks. His job primarily involved meeting up with current customers and providing product knowledge to the distributors. With his gift to gab, the job with his dad seemed to just come natural and the company began to grow rather quickly.

On September 11th, Jeremy posted his first ice fishing video and it went viral. After a few weeks of posting fishing and some jokes here and there, he took a trip to Talladega to watch his buddy win the truck races. On the way down, the guys were bored so Jeremy started telling "Littel Johnny" jokes and posted them on Tik Tok. They were an instant hit and went viral. The videos kept climbing and so did Jeremy's following. His Tik Tok grew to over 100,000 followers within the next week. Posting jokes and fishing videos were what Jeremy primarily posted along with some motivational videos. In January of 2020, Jeremy decided to make another page on Tik Tok where he would recreate the jokes from his current page. This page also grew very quickly and now He had 2 pages to post on sometimes up to 9 times a day. Once Covid hit hard in the spring of 2020, Kickass Snacks was hit hard as well losing close to 80% of the wholesale business. Jeremy had now reached 1 million followers and took to Tik Tok for the first time to discuss Kickass Snacks. His following on the platform rallied together and helped save the business with over 2500 orders in the course of 10 days.***

Throughout the Summer and early fall months things were starting to slow down and he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue making videos but then something happened. Jeremy started to get messages and comments that his videos were changing people's lives. The laughter that they brought was helping them with their depression and days that nothing seemed to go right. It wasn't until Jeremy received on direct message on Instagram that he knew he had a real purpose to be on Tik Tok.

He was sent a message from someone stating that they were going to watch 5 videos that day and at the end of that, he was going to end his life. Jeremy's video was the last video that he saw and it made him laugh so hard that he knew his life was worth living. This is what kept Jeremy posting and his motto is, "Make at least one person smile today"

October of 2020 Jeremy decided to add his kids to the regimen of daily comedy on his backup page and it took off like a bat out of hell. His now backup page is become the main page and there was now a new way to hang out with the kids and have fun. Jeremy and his boys and sometimes daughter create jokes in the way of how "Little Johnny" would act and its what the people seem to love. He will continue to do this with his family until people start to lose interest.

Since the start of Tik Tok, Jeremy has since got involve in a multitude of other platforms where you can see all of his material. When asked where he sees himself in five years, he says he's just taking it one day at a time and riding the wave. As long as people are laughing and smiling and need someone to bring that little glimpse of happiness in their life, he's here to stay.

He lost to a dog act, but don’t hold that against him; Tom was the first comedian ever to be a finalist on the show and was the highest finishing human being on the show that year.

In August 2013, AGT asked Tom back to perform as a special guest star (along with Train) and then again to host “The Season 8 AGT Snapple Viewing Party.”

In January 2019 Tom was again invited back to the AGT stage - this time to perform against the best of the best “Got Talent” performers from other years and around the world in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” In one the most talked about sets of the entire competition, Tom received a STANDING OVATION from the adoring crowd.

Tom's other numerous television and radio credits include "The Tonight Show,” “Last Comic Standing,” his very own "Comedy Central Presents... Tom Cotter,"The Howard Stern Show, Comics Unleashed, multiple appearance on CBS’ "The Late Late Show" and Celebrity Host of “Gotham Comedy Live” on AXS-TV.

You can find Tom headlining all of America's most famous comedy clubs including: The Comedy Cellar, The Improv and Caroline's On Broadway just to name a few. Tom has also been featured at the Montreal "Just For Laughs" Festival, the HBO Comedy Arts Festival and headlining "America's Got Talent Live" show at the Palazzo, Las Vegas. And recently, Tom was on the dais and took part in the Friars Club Roast of Boomer Esiason at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Tom is also a regular on Fox News Channel and co-starred on an episode of CBS’ “The Good Wife.”

In addition, Tom has performed in a wide variety of venues from Alaska to China. His appeal is truly international as he was summoned to London to tour and perform on British Television, and won The Seattle International Stand-Up Comedy Competition and Boston Comedy Festival as The Boston Herald noted “winning by the largest margin of victory in the history of the event.”

Tom came out with his first book, “Bad Dad: A Guide to Pitiful Parenting” (Willow Street Press) in February, 2016 which is a collection of jokes, gags, one-liners and pithy bad advice for fed-up parents everywhere. It is this kind of versatility has allowed Tom to excel in other areas of showbiz as well. So whether it be comedy, voice-overs, or acting, Tom Cotter gives it everything he's got. "If laughter is the best medicine, I yearn to be drugged."

People have always wanted to look younger or feel better about their appearance. Traditional plastic surgery procedures only took into account the excisional component of correction. This often left unnatural looking, operated on appearances. In 2006, a young lady was presented to Dr. Jimerson for tummy tuck and liposuction of her love handles. She jokingly asked Dr. Jimerson if he could use the fat that he got from the liposuction to enhance her buttocks. At the time, the plastic surgery community knew very little about this procedure. However, because Dr. Jimerson is an innovator, he agreed to preform the procedure for her.

Advanced Plastic Surgery Solutions is Atlanta’s newest plastic surgery practice specializing in the latest techniques for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Andrew Jimerson II, MD brings his outstanding training with him to this John’s Creek practice. Dr. Jimerson fell in love with Atlanta during his undergraduate education. He then traveled to Ohio for medical school. He was one of three medical students from across the nation selected to train in plastic surgery at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

***William Lee Martin’s comedy style is storytelling at its finest. With material based on the family man’s real life, Martin's fantastic timing keeps the punchlines coming with just enough time to catch your breath between bits.

Martin barreled into 2021 with fresh bits and new material when he kicked off his “All American Mutt Comedy Tour” in his home city, Fort Worth, Texas.

Martin’s career started in 1996 at the age of 30 where he rose at a meteoric pace from open-mic night to club headliner in just 3 short years. You might remember him as “Cowboy Bill.” He also entertained military troops overseas, toured with country music stars like George Strait, George Jones and Brad Paisley, and even performed with all four of the Blue Collar Comedy stars.

In 2019, the Texas comedian released two brand new one-hour televisions specials with the Comedy Dynamics Network. You can watch “Standing in the Middle” (released Nov. 5, 2019) and “The Nutcracker – A Christmas Standup Spectacular” (released Dec. 10, 2019) on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Google, YouTube TV, X-Box, Dish, Sling and in audio form on Sirius XM, Pandora, iTunes, and Spotify. These specials were the follow-ups to his 2015 self-produced smash hit television special on the CMT network, “Let the Laughter Roll”.

Since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, Martin’s gained almost 400,000 social media followers. He’s been releasing live clips from his specials on social media (27 have over 1 million views apiece), appearing on national podcasts, doing his “4 pm Daily Talk Y’all” every day since March 18, 2020, occasionally hosting movie nights for his fans, and he even went 24 hours straight LIVE, all on Facebook.

Martin’s “4 pm Daily Talk Y'all” is part inspirational, part humorous and some talks are just reminders to laugh even if you have to fake it. As he repeatedly says to his audience, “your body doesn’t know the laughs are fake, so it still produces endorphins. So, fake it, America.” Martin said. “I just wanted to show people that to get through life sometimes you have to get through the minute, to get through the hour, to get through the day.”

But perhaps Martin’s proudest achievement is the success of his non-profit organization: The Cowboys Who Care Foundation, which was designed to provide support, smiles and free cowboy hats to kids living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The foundation is generously sponsored by Resistol hats.

Songwriting
In the last few years Martin’s taken his songwriting aspirations to new heights thanks to a publishing deal with Nashville’s Myriad Publishing. “He has an amazing gift for words. It won't be long till everyone from Nashville to Austin will want to write with him” Steve Cox, president of Myriad Publishing.***Support the show (http://www.paypal.me/BangProductions )

TEAL SWAN's mission is the transformation of human suffering to an empowered and authentic life.

She is the creator of the popular "Ask Teal" YouTube series, author of six internationally published books, and the artist of hundreds of frequency paintings.

In conjunction with her vision of creating positive world change, Teal Swan founded HEADWAY FOUNDATION, a nonprofit company that enables ideas, goals, and ventures that are aimed at positive world change.

***TEAL SWAN was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on June 16th, 1984 at 7:42 am. She was born with a range of extrasensory abilities.

It was because of these abilities that she ended up being targeted to become a victim of abuse. In her own words: “Without the abuse and suffering I experienced, I would be someone who could give you a lot of esoteric information about the universe at large, but who would have no real grasp on the reality of human suffering or how to heal it. I would have only had ½ of the picture of human existence. The gift of my own suffering is that I now have the full picture and that has drastically changed both what I teach and the way that I teach.”***

Teal Swan is not recommended for those who simply want to feel good. She is recommended for those who want the truth even if the truth hurts. The reality is impartial. It isn’t personal. It simply shows you what is so.

She will reflect things about humanity, the world, and the universe that humanity perceives to be positive. But she will also reflect things about humanity, the world, and the universe that humanity does not want to accept, own, or integrate.

When a person decides that they are ready to see the truth and to see reality, Teal Swan is able to reflect the physical and non-physical reality of any given situation. By facing the truth and facing reality, they are then empowered to take mental, emotional, and physical steps towards improvement, based on the new awareness that they gained.

To generalize, the field of spirituality and self-help can be divided into two camps. The first is the practice of spirituality and self-help in order to experience comfort and relief. The second is the practice of spirituality and self-help in order to become aware and awaken. People who fit into the first camp, want to feel good. They see the knowledge and practices available in the spiritual and self-help field as a way to feel good. People who fit into the second camp, want to know what is true. They understand that knowing the truth will enable them to make changes that will lead to feeling better. But they want to know the truth even if what they come to find out makes them feel really uncomfortable. It’s the classic matrix blue pill or red pill scenario.

Your only axis of power and choice is to be in reality and to see the truth. But all this being said, a person has to want to see the truth. You can’t make someone want to see the truth. And so, one of the most important things you can do is to really decide honestly what your actual motive for practicing spirituality and self-help is.

Teal Swan’s deepest intention is to set people free. Her mission is to make people aware and conscious so that with that awareness, they can begin to heal and live deeply meaningful, integrated, and empowered lives.

She travels the world teaching people the truth of the universe, helping people to see the truth of themselves, and teaching them how to transform their emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual pain.

For decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning: his shirt untucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It’s storytelling at its best. The trademark caricature is the essence of humorist James Gregory’s comedy: rib-tickling reflections on life from the front porch.

James is constantly touring. He’s on the road about three days a week, forty six weeks a year. He continues to entertain sold-out crowds in theaters and comedy clubs and remains in demand for corporate events. James has been the featured entertainer for hundreds of corporations, including the Coca Cola Company, Kimberly Clark Corporation, Hewlett Packard and Kroger. James has also been the featured speaker for events sponsored by various civic and church groups.

James is heard weekly on syndicated radio shows such as Rick and Bubba, John Boy and Billy and Bob and Tom. Combined, these shows are broadcast to people in over 220 cities nationwide. As a result, he now has a grass-roots following that numbers in the millions.

James was born in a rural area about twenty five miles east of Atlanta, GA. He got his first job at the age of twelve at a small country grocery store. By the time he was fifteen, he was working thirty-seven hours a week, as well as going to school. As an adult, James has worked for the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Defense, and spent almost ten years as a salesman before discovering the wonderful world of stand-up comedy.

James does not “tip-toe” through life as if he’s walking on broken glass or egg shells. That style is evident on stage as well. He is not politically correct. Much of his humor is centered on brilliant observations of crazy relatives and people obsessed with the slightest change in weather conditions – now referred to as global warming. He delights in poking fun at modern sensitive parents and out-of-control environmentalists. Gregory has been quoted as saying, “If you want me to be concerned about endangered species, you need to convince me that we’re about out of chickens.”

The James Gregory show turns the clock back to a time when life was simpler; to a better time, before the death of common sense; a time when people sat on the front porch and actually talked to each other without a cell phone in their ear.

James’ success, like his comedy, is the direct result of the values he grew up with. And now, twenty something years later, it is this unique brand of humor that packs the crowds into his sold-out shows. The absence of vulgarity sets James apart and his stories are carefully crafted art. “I have lived long enough to know people, know life”, Gregory reflects. “My comedy is based on my life experiences. It’s real, it’s funny and the audience loves it. That’s why I’m still in business.”

James has been featured in publications such as Atlanta Magazine, Country America, Music City News, Laugh Track, Backstage West, Southern Living and Goodness Magazine along with major newspapers throughout the South.

He has appeared in concert with Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, The Judds, George Jones, Ricky Skaggs and more.

Hi wave emoji*! I’m Ariel, the Founder and CEO of uh huh money. I started my business after becoming a celebrity CPA (yes, it's a thing) and I quickly realized that barely anyone is taught how to “adult” when it comes to their finances. Between my friends constantly asking me for advice and my high net worth clients needing more help with their day-to-day finances than their complicated investment portfolios, I realized there was something seriously missing in the market.*

Uh huh money bridges the gap between the unapproachable accountant your family has used for years and your best friend who just so happens to really know her shit. My goal is to give it to you straight, while being informative and entertaining at the same time.

In addition to being a CPA and a consultant, I am a millennial living in NYC who worked my ‘assets’ off to learn how to be a diva on a dime - let me help you do the same.
