SAP has created a great functionality to correctly create VAT reports in SAP for your VAT registrations abroad.

However, since the term ‘Plants Abroad’ (incorrectly) indicates that you actually need to create another plant across the border, many SAP Architects are not willing to approve this activation.

There is a simple, but effective way to convince the Architect to give his approval for the activation.

Businesses trading with the UK will benefit from unchanged indirect tax rules in 2020 but should use the current transition period to prepare for a hard Brexit for VAT at the end of the current transition period. Trade between the EU and the UK will no longer be subject to EU VAT rules and as a result business should seriously assess and prepare for change.
