Yo! I’m Krista and I hate pain;I hate it’s attack on the mind, body and soul. In this space, pain is defined as [and not limited to] physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and relational.
What type of pain(s) are you in?
My hope is that once your understand the why behind your pain, you can truly walk in your purpose and identity.
Your pain is not in vain! Pain is an indicator of life in you waiting to be lived! Although we are not entitled to a life without pain, my goal is to show light on pain by exposing it for its lies.

is here holy even when disappointments seem to pile higher than laundry? how do you navigate it while being present?
unfortunately i’m all too familiar with disappointment and as each one comes, i find myself becoming more distant and disheartened. so in this episode, i ask some questions (non-rhetorical) that i believe will help you [and me] process the place we find ourselves in.
🎧 here is holy by Transformation Church (Tulsa, OK)
🙏🏾 how do you handle disappointments while in pain?
🙏🏾 how do you handle disappointments that continually remind you of where you’re at?
🙏🏾 do i believe God created the heavens and the earth?
🙏🏾 do i believe God sent His son as a man to be the savior of the world, to die on the cross for my sins and to be resurrected on the 3rd day?
🙏🏾 do i believe that same man, named Jesus, loves me?
a lot of the time, i wait for holy to happen in heaven. i mean, i wouldn’t call this place i find myself as holy; but i’m trying to believe it. here is holy sounds, looks, and feels nice until it doesn't look holy. it's nice when things are looking up and you're in a good stride in life. but what happens when here is messy, scary and really dark? can it still be holy? check out this episode as i share my "here" in hopes of not just encouraging you, but myself too.
These episode contains some thoughts I had last week. I believe many others may have the same thoughts. So I’m sharing this to let those out there know that they are not alone, including myself. The decisions you make on a daily should be done guilt-free. When you chose to rest, that is good. When you choose to live, that too is good.

Today (July 1, 2020) I took part in the #ShareTheMicNowOKC Instagram (IG) event! This was the opportunity for OKC black community leaders and influencers to take over the platform of OKC White community leaders and influencers. I was honored to take over Stacey Johnson's IG, @staceyjlife; be sure to check her out!
As part of this day, I asked my beautifully brilliant sister to join me on this podcast to discuss Cognitive Dissonance/ Cognitve Schemas as it relates to race relations, today, in America and OKC: police brutality, the Karens, racism, unconscious bias, and more.

This talk was for CreativeMornings/OKC. On Friday, June 26th, I was the speaker for the Virtual Gathering of CreativeMornings OKC. *Note: this talk was created along with a visual presentation.
June’s theme is #CMinsecure. It was chosen by CreativeMornings Louisville and illustrated by Rachael Sinclair. Presented globally by WordPress.
"We recognize the ongoing history of oppression that has systemically been inflicted upon the Black community for generations. We also recognize that to be an ally we need to listen to the experiences of POC - just as Black Lives Matter, Black storytelling matters.
CreativeMornings was founded on the belief that “We bring together people who are driven by passion and purpose, confident that they will inspire one another, and inspire change in neighborhoods and cities around the world” - this month we lean into that mission by amplifying the voice of speaker, emcee, writer, and spoken-word artist, Krista Chante Rice."
