We are a people with a passion for Jesus and His purposes in the earth located in the heart of Wichita, Kansas. Listen to Pastor Rob Danz and other speakers from Antioch Community Church's Sunday sermons.
In “Little Becomes Much in the Master’s Hands,” Our very special guest, Dr. Don Davis, teaches from Mark 6:35–44, showing how Jesus transforms limited resources into abundant provision. Through the feeding of the five thousand, we discover that God’s work often begins where our strength, wisdom, and resources end. When we willingly surrender what we have—no matter how small—Jesus receives it, multiplies it, and uses it to bless others. The message reminds us that it is not the size of our gift that matters, but whether we place it fully into the hands of the Master.
What if the story you've been telling yourself about being stuck, behind, or not enough is simply a lie on repeat? Special Guest Matthew Penner explores the neuroscience of the mind through Romans 12:1-2, revealing how our brain's "reticular activating system" actually reinforces the narratives we believe—and how God's transformation works through renewing those stories. Sharing his own vulnerable journey from years of physical struggle to completing a 50K at 50, Pastor Matthew shows that even in our stillness, God never stops working. Don't miss this message—it could change the story you tell yourself forever.
What if your spiritual "account" is already paid in full—not 99%, but completely? Our special guest James Weishaar opens with a striking journey through Utah's Mormon communities, where he encountered sincere believers straining under impossible religious burdens, sparking a powerful reminder of what makes the gospel truly different. Through the vivid imagery of bank ledgers, courtroom verdicts, and extravagant love, this message unveils how Jesus didn't just forgive us—He legally acquitted us, actively represents us, and relentlessly pursues us. Don't carry guilt one more day—watch or listen now and let this truth transform you.
What if your finances could become the very thing that draws you closer to Jesus? In this conclusion to the "Unhindered Generosity" series, Pastor Rob unpacks the sobering warning of the rich young ruler—a man who had everything yet walked away from Jesus because he couldn't let go—and reveals how wealth can quietly feed the lie that we don't need saving. With practical wisdom on breaking free from debt, giving in secret, and trusting God beyond what makes sense, this message offers a transformative game plan for Kingdom-driven generosity. The Lord does powerful things when we give Him open access to all areas of our lives. Finances are a huge area where the church needs to be faithful.
What if the most powerful thing a father can do isn't provide or protect—but point? Pastor Rob unpacks what it truly means to redeem fatherhood, reminding us that "a godly father is not a perfect man—he is a surrendered man." Drawing from Joshua 24:15, he calls fathers to declare, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord," while tenderly acknowledging that some carry wounds from absent or broken fathers. Whether you're a dad, have one, or are still healing, this message promises hope, restoration, and a powerful vision for generational legacy. Don't miss it.
What if the most radical thing you could do this week isn't posting on social media or volunteering more hours, but simply opening your wallet? Pastor Rob takes us on a journey through Scripture, revealing that from the very beginning—before any law demanded it—people like Abel, Noah, and Abraham gave generously to God out of pure overflow, not obligation. Their hearts were so overwhelmed by God's goodness that generosity wasn't a duty but a natural response. Rob challenges our modern misconceptions about tithing, showing how Old Testament believers actually gave 23% annually through three different tithes, yet even this pales compared to what Jesus calls us to today. The widow's two coins and Zacchaeus's radical generosity demonstrate that our standard isn't the tithe—it's the cross. When we truly grasp what Christ sacrificed for us, percentage-based giving becomes laughably small. "The standard of giving in the Old Testament was the tithe; our standard is the cross."
Summer is not a break from God’s mission but an opportunity to live as people sent by Jesus. As we go to parks, parties, playdates, restaurants, and neighborhood gatherings, we can intentionally love, serve, share the gospel, and make disciples by the power of the Holy Spirit. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson shares a message on mission, and the invitation is simple: love God, love people, make disciples, and approach every place you go as a missionary sent by Jesus.
What if the same God you once feared is now inviting you to hide His words in your heart instead of hiding from His voice? Pastor Jamaal reveals how Adam and Eve's first game of hide-and-seek in Eden mirrors our own tendency to run from God's love, yet He pursues us still. Through Psalm 119:11's powerful truth about treasuring God's Word as our greatest defense against sin, we discover that purity comes from fixing our hearts on the one thing that empowers everything—Jesus. Ready to flip the script and seek God with your whole heart? Don't miss this transformative message that offers both challenge and hope!
What if everything you call "yours" isn't actually yours at all? Pastor Rob reveals through Jesus' parable of the talents that the Master entrusts us with resources—money, time, gifts—expecting faithful investment, not fearful hoarding. The Word challenges us to shift from ownership to stewardship, recognizing that comparison kills generosity while Kingdom perspective frees it. Whether you've buried your talents out of fear or comparison, this message offers the freedom to invest boldly for His purposes. Don't miss this transformative call to unhindered generosity—watch now and discover the joy of hearing "Well done, faithful servant!"
What if your wallet could reveal the true condition of your heart? Pastor Rob challenges us to see money as an "MRI for your heart," exposing whether we truly trust God or secretly serve earthly treasures. Drawing from Matthew 6:19-21, he reveals that we belong to a "fiercely generous God" who gave His Son, making unhindered generosity not just possible but essential for followers of Jesus. Don't let fear rob you of the freedom found in Kingdom investing—discover how loosening your grip actually leads to gaining eternal treasure and experiencing God's abundant provision.
The journey to true discipleship begins with our simple obedience. This obedience empowers us to teach and disciple others to walk in the same way. In this obedience, we discover a life filled with victory and God's blessings. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson shared a word this week titled "Shema O Antioch" based on Deuteronomy 5:4-9 ESV.
The redemption found in the blood of Jesus and the promise of eternity with Him are immeasurable gifts; however, they also serve as an invitation that we must extend to those who desperately need Him. We cannot keep Him to ourselves. This week, we conclude our series, "Rhythms of a First-Love Church", with Part 5: "Witness to the World". What does it mean to be a witness for the Kingdom of God, and how can we faithfully live this out as a church?
There is a temptation for corporate Sunday church services to become habitual and mundane, especially when we don’t see them for the supernatural gift from God that they are. Pastor Rob challenges us to rediscover the supernatural gift of gathering together as God's family. Through compelling insights from Revelation and personal stories, he reveals how our Sunday gatherings are far more than routine—they're divine appointments where God's presence transforms lives, prayers move mountains, and genuine community flourishes. Whether you're feeling disconnected or seeking deeper spiritual growth, this message illuminates the irreplaceable power of church gatherings. Don't miss this vital teaching that will reignite your passion for corporate worship and unlock a fresh season of encounter with God.
Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson continued our series, "Rhythms of a First-Love Church," with Part 3: House to House. The cornerstone of Antioch Wichita is our House Churches. While Sunday morning services are important, it is during our weekly house churches that deeper shepherding, community, growth, and mission thrive. This serves as a challenge for us to empower and equip every member of our church to embody what it means to be the church.
In the second week of our sermon series, "Rhythms of a First-Love Church," we focused on the theme of Life-on-Life Discipleship. Life-on-Life Discipleship involves intentional relationships aimed at helping individuals grow into lifelong, obedient followers of Jesus, who in turn assist others in their spiritual journeys. The mission of the church is centered on discipleship, and we are all called to both be disciples and to make disciples. Pastor Rob discussed practical ways and essential truths about our hearts to effectively disciple the generations within our church.
We want to ensure that our church does not abandon our first love. To stay aligned with His guidance, we are taking simple yet impactful steps. Pastor Rob Danz is launching our new sermon series titled "Rhythms of a First-Love Church." This series focuses on the importance of being a simple church that maintains a deep closeness to Jesus, making Him the center of everything we do.
In Part 1, we will explore the significance of a personal devotional life and the necessity of dedicating time each day to spend with Jesus. When each of us experiences the love, power, and presence of God individually, our church community also grows in these aspects collectively.
Are we dying as a church? Every year, four thousand churches close their doors, yet Jesus assured Peter that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church He would build. Can a church truly die? Should a church die? Are we at Antioch Wichita afraid of facing this fate? In this important message, Pastor Rob Danz poses a challenging question as we examine our surroundings and realize that we may not be thriving; it seems that the gates of hell are indeed prevailing against many churches. While a church's death is inevitable, Jesus allows us to decide what kind of death we, as a church family, will experience: will we choose to die now for His glory, or will we wait until we have lost our light?
Have there been promises or expectations that you have yet to see fulfilled? How are you responding to this situation? How can we effectively manage our dilemma? Our dear friend Sam McVay from Disciple Nations shared a powerful message with us titled "Lessons from the Dilemma of Israel."
We had the honor of having our dear friend James Weishaar share the Word with us this week. James has served as a missionary and local pastor, and he now oversees a team of missionaries around the world. Our topic today was "It Is Finished." We explored the meaning of Jesus' words on the cross when He said, "It is finished," and discussed how this truth should shape our identity and influence our everyday lives.
Worship is our response to God for who He is and what He has done. It is expressed through the things we say and the way we live. Worship involves giving our best—truly offering everything we have—to show God love and honor. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson delivered a teaching titled "Worship is a Lifestyle."
Special Guest Pastor Jamaal Watson was in the house again this week with a powerful sermon on the Holy Spirit of God titled "Fire Works." 1 Peter 1:1-9 and 1 Peter 4:12-16 were our texts as we explored how the Holy Spirit will heat, heal, and hone us in our daily walk with Jesus.
The scriptures are clear that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Yet, many of us are walking around feeling like captives to sin and the things of this world. This disconnect could be due to a lack of awareness of and surrender to the Holy Spirit that resides within us as followers of Jesus. Pastor Rob Danz continues our sermon series, "Inhabited: The Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit," with Part 2: Embracing the Supernatural.
Saying that the Holy Spirit is important to our spiritual journey is like saying feet are important for walking. He isn’t just important; He is everything. We cannot know God, experience His presence, or be used by Him without the Holy Spirit. Pastor Rob Danz introduces a sermon series titled "Inhabited: The Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit."
Being a father can be a challenging journey, especially when we carry our own experiences with our fathers or deal with fatherlessness. Thankfully, we can turn to the father heart of God for healing, guidance, and support as we imitate Him and raise our own children. By doing so in a way that honors Him, we can create a lasting legacy for our families that will bless future generations. How we follow Jesus will teach our kids far more than what we tell them about following Jesus. Fathers Day 2025 || Pastor Rob Danz
How can we, as the people of God, overcome sexual abuse and help others do the same? The prevalence of abuse in our world is overwhelming and staggering. We need to heal from this trauma, and the Church must step into the aftermath of sexual abuse to help set the captives free. There is healing, freedom, and victory over sexual abuse that can only be found in Jesus. Pastor Rob Danz shares part of his family's journey through sexual abuse and conveys a message on how the people of God can rise above the horrors of such experiences. This is the conclusion of Antioch Wichita's Kingdom Sexuality sermon series.
What does the Bible say about sexuality and singleness? Over 100 million people in the United States are single. Unfortunately, statistics show that many singles, both inside and outside the church, are not living in accordance with God’s design for sexual intimacy. What is Jesus calling singles to, and does He want everyone to marry? This week, Pastor Rob Danz will discuss how the church can support and uplift singles to live for the Kingdom of God.
We had the great honor of having our dear friend, Pastor Jamaal Watson, back again and sharing the word of God. This week's sermon was titled "Anchored in Jesus," based on the text from Psalms 18:1-49 that calls us to become and to remain anchored in Jesus.
Focusing on God's magnificent and glorious names helps us to honor Him. By understanding these names, we can, with the guidance of His Spirit, live in a way that reflects His greatness. This is especially important in our world, which desperately needs to witness a supernatural vision of the invisible God through the visible lives of His children. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson taught on the names of God.
What does the Bible say about sex in marriage? God's design for humanity is inherently sexual and fulfilling when we embrace it according to His intentions. This week, Pastor Rob discusses God's plan for sex in marriage, including how we should approach it, express gratitude for it, common misconceptions to avoid, and how serious He is about the marriage covenant.
Easter serves as the ultimate proof that Jesus always fulfills His promises. His death, burial, and resurrection demonstrate God's faithfulness to His people. While individuals in our lives may disappoint us or abandon us at times, Jesus never has and never will. Pastor Rob Danz shared this message titled "Just Like He Said," based on Matthew 16.
We were honored to have special guest Pastor Jamaal Watson with us this Palm Sunday, who delivered a message titled "SOS Hosanna" from God's Word.
Family ministry pastor Jimmy Hutson preached a sermon titled "Follow the Light" that walks through what it tangibly looks like to die to self and follow Jesus, from Mark 8:34-37.
Lust and pornography are a significant problem within the church, and they break the heart of God and cause damage in our lives. First and foremost, lust is a spiritual defilement that starts in the heart and mind, and porn is an unholy fuel for the fire of lust. However, there is freedom from the bondage of both porn and lust that's found only in Jesus. We must become far more serious about our battles with it and putting it to death.
What do you do when life unexpectedly takes a turn? How can we respond when God's timing differs from our own? Elder in Training Jonathan Workman shares a powerful message about how the Lord guided him through a challenging situation after he lost his job and had to wait for new opportunities to arise. This message is inspired by James 1:2-4.
Good Samaritans do not go to heaven, only the broken who have been rescued and redeemed by Jesus. This week, we explore the parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10:25-37, where Jesus challenges the heart of a Jewish lawyer. Pastor Rob Danz continues our Kingdom Narratives sermon series with Part 6: Fallen Among Robbers.
Each one of us has been blessed with incredible gifts, relationships, and resources to honor the Lord. One day, we will be held accountable for how we used them. This week, Pastor Rob Danz continued our sermon series "Kingdom Narratives" with Part 4: A Hidden Talent, which explores the parable of the talents from Matthew 25:14-30.
In the scriptures, there is a warning that many who believe they are saved may not be. In the parable of the 10 virgins, Jesus emphasizes that simply going through the motions of Christianity will not grant us entry into the eternal Kingdom of God unless our actions are motivated by genuine salvation, demonstrated by the presence of the Holy Spirit, living in anticipation of His return. Pastor Rob Danz teaches from Matthew 25:1-13.
Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson preached "Running to Win" based on 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. Our lives are not our own; they have been bought with a price, and we are meant to run in the presence of God.
Pastor Jamaal Watson was the special guest speaker this week. The sermon was on Psalm 46, which proclaims that the Lord is present, calling us to be present, to come close to Him, and to others.
What we value the most will always direct and define our lives. In Matthew 13:44-46, Jesus tells a powerful story to show us what His kingdom is like. The story reveals the overwhelming worth of the Kingdom of Heaven. When we see it for its worth, we can joyfully let go of all the things in this world. Pastor Rob continues our Kingdom Narratives sermon series with part 3: Treasure.
As we study the parables of Jesus, we challenge ourselves to three things:
Look Upward: What does the parable teach us about the Lord and His Kingdom?
Look Inward: What does it reveal about us?
* Respond Forward: How can we respond in obedience?
How big of a deal is forgiveness to Jesus? Unforgiveness in our hearts can be a significant red flag that indicates we are not walking in the fullness of our forgiveness from Jesus or that we never really knew it. This week, Pastor Rob led us through the parable of the unforgiving servant found in Matthew 18:23-35. God's forgiveness is so immense that it demands the complete eradication of all unforgiveness from the hearts of those who have received it.
As we study the parables of Jesus, we challenge ourselves to three things:
Look Upward: What does the parable teach us about the Lord and His Kingdom?
Look Inward: What does it reveal about us?
* Respond Forward: How can we respond in obedience?
Our new series, titled "Kingdom Narratives," walks through the amazing stories of Jesus given to us in parables. Jesus spoke in parables to provide us with snapshots of everyday life that illustrate the truths about God’s kingdom. Week 1 was based on Matthew 7:24-27 and the parable of the man who builds his house on the rock. Building our house on the rock of Christ is based on obedience to Jesus and His Kingdom.
As we study the parables of Jesus, we challenge ourselves to three things:
Look Upward: What does the parable teach us about the Lord and His Kingdom?
Look Inward: What does it reveal about us?
* Respond Forward: How can we respond in obedience?
We need to watch our hearts and motives! It’s possible to serve with great zeal, be theologically sound, tell others about the love of Jesus, persevere through horrible things, and at the same time, no longer be overwhelmed by or for Jesus. This week, we walked through Revelation chapter 2, which shows a letter Jesus gave to His church in Ephesus through the apostle John. The church was doing a lot of faithful things in endurance and keeping doctrinally sound, but Jesus had an issue with them for one very important thing: they had forsaken their first love, and they had walked away from Him. The "why" we do things is more important than the "what."
There is an anthem that should be on the heart of every follower of Jesus: Lord, break my heart for what breaks yours. Do we anguish over the things that break the heart of God, or have we become too numb to the brokenness of our sin, relationships, churches, ministries, and this perishing world? This week, we look into the life of Nehemiah and see how a man can change the world when he is fueled by a heart of anguish that leads to prayer, repentance, and a response to broken things.
The fuel and fire for a Kingdom Come life has everything to do with our proximity to and dependency on Jesus. It's not about how great and gifted we are or about the big things we’ve done; it’s about who we are with and how we follow Him where He is leading. Pastor Rob Danz walks through Psalms 27:4 as David longs to dwell in the presence of the Lord at all times.
We must be careful with our opinions; they can cause damage if we do not baptize them in the truth of God's Word and desires. What He thinks, wants, and says should be the only thing that guides our lives. Pastor Rob Danz takes a deeper dive into our opinions and asks, "Where have our views about people and situations outweighed what God's truth says about them?"
What is God doing when He seems to say no to our requests for miraculous intervention in hard situations? How should we respond? There are miracles working in the midst of Gods "no". Pastor Rob walks us through two powerful stories in the scriptures about Paul (2 Corinthians 12:7-10), and Jesus (Matthew 26:36-44). There are times when God intervenes through miraculous power, and there are times when the miracle is that we simply made it through.
Jesus is miraculous! In part 4 of our Miraculous sermon series, we walk through Mark 5:35-43 where Jesus brings a little girl back to life. In this powerful text we see the power of God, while Jesus calls us to deal with our fear and "only believe" in Him during seemingly impossible trials in our lives. We cannot go through seasons of brokenness and despair Gods way if we won’t deal with our fear in every circumstance.
Our dear friend Pastor Darnell Bryant brought a powerful word out of Isaiah 30:1-22 titled "It's a Trap". Trusting the ways of man verses trusting the Lord is a growing journey we are all on. We can avoid the pitfalls of trusting worldly things that leave us broken and frustrated and instead trust the Lord from the very beginning of every circumstance.
Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson's message this week was titled "Love Points the Way" out of 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.
We had the great honor to have Dr. Don Davis (World Impact Senior Executive Advisor to the President) with us this week to teach the Word of God. The title of the sermon was "Contend for the Faith Once Delivered to the Saints" - Jude 3-4. As defenders of the Gospel of Jesus, we are to contend for the faith that has once been delivered to the saints.
Heartbreak and suffering throughout our lives can become a great gift when our desperation leads us to the feet of the only one that can bring relief and healing, Jesus Christ. This week we came upon the story of a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and was desperate for healing. She finds it and the even greater gift of becoming a child of God when she encounters Jesus. Pastor Rob Danz continues our sermon series titled "Miraculous" with part 3: Who Touched My Garments? || Mark 5:21-34
How did Jesus respond to the demonic? Are demons still around us today? How are we supposed to react to demons and the devil? Pastor Rob Danz taught from Mark 5:1-20 on the amazing story of how Jesus powerfully healed a man that was possessed by many demons. This account testifies to the miraculous power of Jesus, the freedom and power we have in Him, and that no one is too far gone from the arms of Christ.
Part 1 of our new series "Miraculous" was titled "He Calms the Storms", based on Mark 4:35-41. The miracles of Jesus should speak loudly to us today because they glorify the Lord, they prove that He was God and the Messiah, they show His compassion for His people, and they are a sign of the redemption of the past and a foretaste of what is to come. Jesus is still doing miracles all around us. This week we looked at the text where Jesus miraculously calmed a storm that His disciples’ thought was going to destroy them. Jesus is with us in all the storms we encounter, and we make it through because He is with us and because of our destiny in Him.
The Bible calls us to be all-in for Christ and Kingdom, there is no other option. The question that we should all be asking is "what truly motivates me" in that calling. Only the overwhelming love of God and the "newness" we have in Him can lead us to lay it all down and become radical followers of Jesus. Pastor Rob Danz teaches on 2 Corinthians 5:14-17.
Pastor Rob Danz preached a sermon titled "Along Came Poly" that walks through some of his recent struggles, and shares what we all can do when we go through very difficult seasons that don't seem to stop. A weak gospel and a bad theology of suffering will absolutely crush us in the storms of life, but if we can walk in the truth, we can overcome, not quit, and glorify Jesus in whatever comes our way.
Jennifer Danz brought an encouraging word for Mother's Day on prayer. Snapshots of a Prayer Warrior walks through some great and applicable points to help us as parents and followers of Jesus to engage in prayer in powerful ways.
Elder Rick Meeks brought a powerful word on Time and how crucial it is that we live out the great commission and share the Gospel now because time is short.
Elder in Training Jonathan Workman shared a powerful word this week based out of John 15:1-17, titled Abide. Often times the promptings of the Holy Spirit in us are rooted in His desire to abide with us. He wants us to be close with Him.
One of our favorite days is testimony Sunday! Check out these three amazing people as they share the gospel and power of Jesus through the testimonies of their lives.
As witnesses of God's great love, grace, and mercy, power, and works, we should testify about Him. We should meet people where they are, share truth with them of who they are, point them to redemption in Jesus, and give them a chance to respond. Acts 3:1-10 - Pastor Jimmy Hutson
To see Jesus is to have peace in the midst of fear, to have faith in the midst of doubt, and proclaim His name as we worship Him. Pastor Jimmy Hutson dives into John 20:19-31 in a message titled From Fear to Faith.
All of our yesterday, today, and tomorrow, have been rewritten because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! That is the power of Easter that we cannot miss. Pastor Rob Danz preached this message out of Mark 16:1-8. We can look to our past, present, and future through the cross and see the entirety of our lives in a new light.
If we see Jesus as He wants us to, we will live as a released, redeemed, ruled people who boldly proclaim Him and His Word. Pastor Jimmy Hutson preached out of Mark 11:1-11 on Palm Sunday.
Part 5 of our Lenten sermon series "Of Thorns and Glory" was taught out of John 12:20-33. Jesus was clear about His mission on earth, He came to lay down His life for our freedom and to glorify the name of the Father. As His followers, we are called to the same mission. Pastor Rob Danz
We all have basic needs that need to be met. Where we choose to get those needs met will also lead to our choice of life or death. Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson preached part 4 of our 2024 Lenten series titled "Of Thorns and Glory" based out of John 3:14-21.
Jesus pursues us and meets us where we are, regardless of who we are or where we have been and offers us eternal satisfaction for our solus. When we meet Him, we are changed to become true worshippers who can run past our shame and circumstances and be used for His Glory. Pastor Rob Danz continues our Lenten series "Of Thorns and Glory" with part 3 based out of John 4:5-30.
Although it’s beyond the comprehension of the mind of man, to follow Jesus is to live a life of death to self. Only when we die to self, will we truly find the life that He intended for us to have in Him. Part 2 of our Lent 2024 sermon series "Of Thorns and Glory" was taught out of Mark 8:31-38.
We officially kicked off our Lent 2024 Sermon series titled "Of Thorns and Glory", with Part 1 that was based out of Matthew 4:1-11. Through the power and example of our suffering and triumphant Savior, we can stand on the truth of His Word and overcome the enemy in every season and trial.
Family Ministry Pastor Jimmy Hutson teaches on the essentials and reasons behind why we are called into simple yet life-changing discipleship.
To be a true follower and disciple of Jesus is to live a life of zeal and fire for His Kingdom and His purposes on the earth. If our comfort and contentment come from the things of this world, we are in danger of being lukewarm, and outside of the will of God. We choose to resist the lukewarm lifestyle. Pastor Rob walks through Revelation 3:14-20 that challenges the church to check itself and to stay hot.
Being all in is really an overflow of understanding the treasure we have in Jesus and His Kingdom. He is absolutely worthy of it all! Pastor Rob Danz preached this sermon titled "Worthy of it All", that walks out the truths found in Matthew 13:44.
Pastor Rob Danz shared a sermon titled "Reciprocating Love". We don’t obey first and foremost because we have been asked to, we obey because of the one who is asking. We want to be known in the heavens as people who obey because we love Jesus so much that we cannot help it.
This week we concluded our Declaring War sermon series with Part 3: Armor. We are not casualties of this great spiritual war that covers every inch of existence, we are to be conquerors equipped with the power and armor of the Living God.
Part 2 of our Declaring War sermon series was titled "The Enemy Within", that walked through the enemy of self. In the spiritual warfare that’s happening all around us, we are one of our greatest enemies. There is a battle that wages inside of us and we no longer have to be a prisoner to it. We can live victoriously over the death in our flesh by walking in the new life through the Spirit of God!
Pastor Rob Danz launched us into our new summer series on spiritual warfare titled, "Declaring War". Part 1: Identifying Our Enemies, walks through the truths that to be unaware of the enormous spiritual warfare that happens all around us at all times is to be unaware of our purpose. If we are to be useful in this battle, we must know who our enemies are and how Jesus leads us to fight them.
This week we had some powerful testimonies from 4 Antioch dads who come from much different backgrounds and journeys, but all love and disciple their kids well. In today's world, the church needs to respond and break the cycle of fatherlessness and godless fathering.
We Still Here: "The Power of a Still Standing Testimony" was the title of this week's message from Antioch Wichita. Pastor Rob Danz was back in the pulpit after his sabbatical and shared this word based out of 1 Samuel 7:12, and 2 Corinthians 4:7-10. There are seasons when we are searching for miracles and breakthroughs that we have defined, but sometimes THE miracle is that you are STILL STANDING!!!
Pastor Jimmy Hutson shared a message about unity. In these days of great division in churches, Jesus is calling us to something greater for the sake of His Kingdom, we are called to be unified in Christ Jesus!
The moment the Lord shows up in our lives, everything is changed forever, and we will never again have to return to that place. Advent gives us a gift in calling us to remember that state our lives were in the moment before we saw Jesus, and how He has changed everything in our lives since. Pastor Rob Danz concludes our 2022 Advent series titled "Waiting Well".
Everyone is hungry for the promises and calling of God, but very few are hungry for the journey He takes us on to get there. Waiting on the Lord is an enormous gift and opportunity for us, and a major theme of the season of Advent. Pastor Rob Danz walked through a sermon titled "The Worth of Wait - Advent 2022".
It was a powerful morning as we celebrated 15 years as a church family! Pastor Rob Danz shared about our history as a church, and we had three amazing testimonies from some of our family about how Jesus is working in their lives and thorough our Kingdom community.
Pastor Randy Williams continues our Unfathomable sermon series with part 7 titled "Ever-Present" based out of Psalms 139. There is never a time where God is not with us. He is everywhere always, and He us near, always. This powerful attribute of God leads us to worship, confess and repent, and obey with faith.
We find the love of God in what He has given us, but we can also find an abundance of the love of God in what He HAS NOT given us. Mercy is an amazing characteristic of the Lord who has not only withheld from us the death we deserve because of our sin, but mercy is also His character of compassion and lovingkindness. Part 6 of the Unfathomable Sermon Series is titled "He is Mercy".
Adonai is a powerful name of God that we find in the scripture, but it’s also a posturing of our hearts. God, our Adonai, calls all His people to acknowledge themselves as His servants, claiming His right to reign as Lord of our lives. Pastor Rob Danz preaches part 5 of our Unfathomable sermon series.
Part 4 of our Unfathomable sermon series is titled "He is Sovereign". An understanding of the sovereignty of God will change so much of our understanding of who He is and who we are not. What does it mean that God is sovereign and how does freewill play into it all? Are we just puppets, or does our response to the sovereign things of God mean something more?
Fasting is an essential weapon in the lives of disciples of Jesus. As we learn to control our earthly hunger and desires, we can grow in our hunger and desire for the things of God, who is the only one we have victory in. Pastor Rob Danz teaches through the discipline of fasting.
There is a difference between saying "God is good" and truly believing that in every area of our lives. The scripture is clear that He is good, and when we have a real understanding of that, it will manifest itself in our lives in many powerful ways. The goodness of God is not a variable, it’s an unchanging reality in every situation and moment for all eternity. Pastor Rob Danz continues our Unfathomable sermon series with part 3: He is Good.
Pastor Randy Williams taught from the book of Proverbs on biblical friendship. There are numerous types of "friends" that the scriptures warn us about, and there is also a high calling to be the friends the Lord calls us to be. We all need friends like Jesus, and we desire to be those friends to others.
God is unchanging, and in a world full of turmoil, chaos, and constant change, followers of Jesus can have total peace in the fact the He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Pastor Rob Danz continues our "Unfathomable" sermon series where we are looking to the Lord and His amazing attributes.
This week we began our new sermon series titled Unfathomable: Exploring the Attributes & Names of God. Part 1 walked through the powerful truth that God is eternal and everlasting. The Lord exists outside of our understanding of time, and He has no beginning and no end, and we should give our lives over to knowing Him more.
Pastor Rob Danz shares about 5 rhythms that we need to be walking in to be people who are the church, and not just a people who attend a church. These are uncommon times that require an uncommon church that stands strong on the truth, loves people well, and sees our cities and nations won for the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Randy Williams continues our summer series through the book of Titus with Part 3: Grace Empowered Witness. There are times when we encounter "grace amnesia" where we react in life as if we were not under the all-encompassing grace of God. We should be known as a people of grace. Titus 3:1-15
We were honored to have Rev Dr. Don Davis with us this week at Antioch Wichita. Dr Davis preached through Proverbs 3:5-6 with a message titled Our Tendency to Over Think - Winning the Battle for our Mind. How your mind goes, so goes your life and as followers of Jesus we have to win the war that goes on in our heads with the truth of the Kingdom.
Pastor Darnell Bryant continued our Titus Summer series with Part 2: Grace Informed Discipleship. The text was Titus 2:2-6, 9-10 that calls us to obedience and to come under sound doctrine in the lives we live out for the Kingdom.
After the reversal of the Roe V. Wade decision this week in America, the backlash of our culture and response of the church needs to be addressed and clarified. Pastor Rob Danz walks through the biblical heart on abortion and engages some of the arguments that surround this explosive topic.
Pastor Randy Williams jumped into the book of Titus this week with an overview of Paul’s letter and also a powerful word on the myths about belonging to and used in grace-filled communities.
There isn’t a single addiction, wound from abuse, or broken mind that Jesus cannot restore. Pastor Rob Danz teaches out of Mark chapter 5 where we find Jesus bringing healing to a man possessed by multiple demons. The internal battle of this man was only overcome through the power of Christ, and the same is true for those of us battling internal attacks in our minds, through addictions, and from scars brought on by abuse.
This week we celebrate Pentecost Sunday where we look back and give thanks for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on God's people. Saying that the Holy Spirit is important to our spiritual walk is like saying feet are important to walking. It’s not something that is kind of important, it’s everything. We cannot know God, have God, or be used by God without the Holy Spirit. Pastor Rob Danz leads out of Acts 2:1-13.
Pastor Darnell Bryant brought a powerful word based out of Psalm 1. A blessed man stays away from the wicked and delights in the Lord who plants him with deep roots like a tree.
Family Ministries Pastor Jimmy Hutson and the Antioch Youth took over service for Youth Sunday 2022. The team shared what Jesus has been doing among our teens and preteens, along with some powerful testimonies and a Word from the Lord.
Pastor Randy Williams continues our "The In-Between" sermon series with Part 3: Waiting on the Spirit, based on Luke 24:44-49. As we look to the scriptures, we see that Jesus doesn't do ministry apart from the Holy Spirit and as His followers, we are to walk in that same power.
We continue our "The In-Between" sermon series this morning with part 2: The Un-Disqualified. Pastor Rob takes us through of the restoration of Peter in John 21:1-19. Peter is crushed under the weight of his betrayal of Jesus, but in His love, the Lord comes pursuing him to restore his intimacy and calling. The love of Jesus was the supernatural magnet that pulled Peter out of that boat and back into the presence of his Lord.
In our new series "The In-Between", we walk through a special time in the Bible that takes place between the resurrection of Jesus and Pentecost. In His grace, the Lord spends 40 days with His disciples to encourage them and build their faith that He is who He said He was and that He was with them. Part 1 titled "The Proof is in the Scars", Pastor Rob Danz teaches about the doctrine of scars and how Jesus breaks though our doubts.
We had the great honor to have Trey Green, who is the Pastor of Missions for the Antioch Movement, share a history of the Antioch movement of churches and also speak into where Jesus is leading us in the coming days and seasons. A passion for Jesus and His purposes in the earth!
What if the resurrection had never happened? What would life look like for us and what hope would there be for mankind? Pastor Rob Danz brings an Easter message based out of Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:14-19 that says, "And if Christ has not been raised". Easter is absolutely everything for followers of Jesus.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me. As most of us can testify, that statement doesn't hold true. There is so much power in our words to build someone up or tear them down. The Bible is clear, we were called to be encouragers and speak life to one another and to the world. Pastor Rob Danz preached a message titled, "Speaking Life and Death" from Psalms 18:21.
Pastor Randy Williams shared a powerful word on what work looks like biblically for followers of Jesus. As you see Jesus for who He is, you are invited to move away from a life of over-work, away from a life of under-work, and flourish as you work hard, rest well, and identify in Jesus' finished work.
True missional living is simply this: The rescued men and women of God bring the rescuer to those who desperately need it. This missions Sunday, Pastor Rob brought a message titled "Rescued Rescuers". Mission is directly connected to the restoration we have in Jesus; we have been rescued by His blood and now He invites us to bring His rescue to the world.
Pastor Randy Williams closed out our "The God Who Restores" sermon series with Part 3: This I Call to Mind. Lamentations 3:1-26 was our text that walks through the lament of hopelessness in God's people that comes from the suffering brought on by our own hand and by the hand of the world that can only be overcome by the blood of the cross and when we call to mind the goodness and steadfast love of God.
Our understanding of the doctrine of suffering will change our lives dramatically. Suffering happens because of the fall of man, but the goodness of God is deeply engrained in the midst of suffering. Jesus uses the broken things in our lives, and He restores us from them all. Pastor Rob preached through Part 2 of our "The God Who Restores" series.

Pastor Rob Danz wraps up our Kingdom Come Generosity Sermon Series with Part 4: Warnings, Blessings, and Our Response. Generosity marks us as the people of God. If He is who He says He is, we gladly lay down everything for Him.
The Kingdom Come Generosity sermon series continues with part 3: Even Greater. Pastor Rob Danz takes us through the history of giving in the scriptures and the heart behind true generosity. The standard of giving in the Old Testament was the tithe, our standard is the cross. We are blown away by the gift of Jesus, and we give from a place of sacrificial overflow, not because we are bound to a percentage.
Pastor Rob Danz continues our Kingdom Come Generosity sermon series with Part 2: Stewards. We walked through the parable of the talents found in Matthew 25:14-30 which leads us to the question, have we managed the resources the Lord has entrusted to us like they belong to Him, for His benefit, and His kingdom? Ultimately, we are caretakers of what Jesus has entrusted to us for this brief time that we are on Earth.
Our new sermon series titled Kingdom Come Generosity kicked off today with Part 1: Treasure. Our heart is to be “Kingdom come” people that look to inject the Kingdom of God in every area and situation of our lives. One area that is challenging for many of us is Kingdom generosity. Pastor Rob Danz taught on Matthew 6:19-21 on where our treasure really is.
Pastor Darnell Bryant teaches out of 1 Samuel 15 today with a message titled, Obedience is Better Than Sacrifice. Making big sacrifices for God that are not from a heart of obedience, are pointless. He's not impressed with the sacrifice, He's after obedience from a heart who understands His sacrifice.
There are occurrences that happen in our lives that change the trajectory of everything we know and do. For a follower of Jesus, the day we surrendered to Him is the day that everything in our lived was changed eternity. That day should lead us into a life of trust, obedience, and worship. Pastor Rob concludes our Advent series with Part 4: The Arrival, that looks into the life of Mary and Joseph.
Everything about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus has proven Him to be our savior, redeemer, and our God. As we walk in that truth, our lives will never be the same. As believers, we need the reminder to open the eyes of our hearts and see the proof of what we have given our lives to. Pastor Rob Danz preaches Part 4 of our Advent 2021 sermon series titled Proof is Everywhere.
Pastor Jimmy Hutson continues our Advent 2021 Sermon series with Part 2: People Must know. When we live rightly in this tension of the already not yet Kingdom, we have hope, joy, and we have purpose. Our purpose is to glorify God in everything we do, and we are called to share the good news of Jesus with the world. This world needs real hope and real joy. This world needs Jesus.
Pastor Rob Danz kicks of our 2021 Advent sermon series. We live in a unique period of time for the people of God. This "Already not yet" Kingdom comes with a tension between the fulfillment of many of the promises of God that came with the first coming of Jesus next to the brokenness of this world and the anticipation of the second coming of Christ. What we anticipate in our lives will dictate how we walk out the tension of this already and not yet Kingdom.
The people of God are called to live unified in the Spirit. We walk with each other in humility, gentleness and patience through the love of God and we eagerly pursue reconciliation. Pastor Rob taught through Ephesians 4:1-5 and the importance of a unified church.
