Daniel Jaeger - Be A Better You EP
The first Criminal Bassline EP release comes from Daniel Jaeger. A young artist who is also part of the core-crew of Criminal Bassline Berlin. We are really proud to present his first solo EP! Daniel Jaeger, born and raised in Berlin, started producing music at the age of 12 and started to DJ in clubs at 16. He joined the core-crew of Criminal Bassline in 2016 and quickly became one of the label managers. In 2017 he joined the well-known Berlin underground party series “Bordel des Arts” as resident DJ. This year, Daniel finally released his first track “Stampede” which came out on Bar 25 Music as part of the Bordel Des Arts Vol.1 compilation and he has already signed lots more music to other labels. The title track is called “Be A Better You“ and is definitely one for the peak time on the dance floor. Packed with sub-frequencies, a deep and groovy bassline, punchy kick and a vocal which will stick in your mind for a while. The b-side track “Weird World“ also highlights his signature sound. This one is darker and more trippy. It touches your brain on a deeper level but is straight forward at the same time. Both tracks are definitely multitools for the dance floor! Alongside the two originals, this EP includes two remixes of the title track “Be A Better You”. The first remix is made by Criminal Bassline founder Mike Book who delivers a dark and edgy peak time tech-house interpretation. The second remix comes courtesy of “Patent Skills” label owner DJ Lion who adds a straight forward techno remake of the original to complete the package!

This is the live recording from the Sisyphos Re-Opening 2017. I got switched from Scheune/Dampfer to play 4 hours in the legendary Hammahalle. This is the result :)
It was almost surreal to play in front of so many awesome people with such a crazy vibe going on. This definitely was the biggest soundsystem and floor size I ever played. Incredible!
