AT and AAC
In this podcast, we introduce Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and provide examples of seven devices that help facilitate communication, provide access to the curriculum, and promote skill development for students with disabilities. Parents, teachers, service providers, and anyone working with this population of students should be aware that there is a large range of AT and AAC, beyond what is discussed in this podcast, and knowledge and training of devices are critical before implementation of services.
