An intro or overview of the process used while deconstructing from religion/christianity.
The nature of mankind remains. “ The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun,” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). But how can this be true when the age of enlightenment advanced the logics of science to a level mankind has never seen and each generation continues to heighten the experience?
Do they correlate? Can Christians be mystical? The meaning of Christian verses mysticism.
Damone Johnson, a Black father, who talks about receiving welfare assistance to working and purchasing a home. The struggles that his family encountered, and how his close relationship with the Lord helped him through it. His wife had two children prior to them coming together, which he says, “I’m not the step-dad, I’m the dad that stepped-up.” They were determined to maintain unity in their home. He talks cultural difference between him and his wife and how they worked through it. He proudly says, it’s because of my close relationship with the Lord.
