My musical activities started in the mid 70s, when teenaged delusions of grandeur tempered by sarcasm and foolishness fueled my first compositions. No less insane than then, I pursue my musical quests with quiet complacency.
Those in-between spaces where emotions overlap and create the tones of sadness and triumph.
The first movement of my Surf's Up Symphony, blending synth with composed orchestral arrangements that are heavily influenced by Wayne Shorter, Prokofiev, Britten, and loosely based on a punk song I wrote in 1979.
Years of work have gone into this 37 minute journey through melody and constant, driving variation.
