Creator, Composer, Producer-arrangeur in Ambient, Deep House.
Enpierre, Dutch-bred solo artist, became interested in computers and composing music with FastTracker in the late 90’s. Influenced by bands like Boards of Canada, Underworld, Orbital, Massive Attack, Röyksopp, and later Bob Moses and Moderat, my creations fall mostly within the realm of ambient and deep house.
I used a city recording from freesoundproject.org for the city background and started building with a relaxed beatline and simple bass on about 110bpm. Added some mellow strings and a 80's sounding synth with a cool sounding spacey feel in the background. Like how it came together, hope you like it too!
“Omotenashi” is a Japanese word which represents the act of providing detailed service in a variety of ways to allow guests to spend a relaxing and memorable time by putting customers first. “Omotenashi” is translated into “hospitality”. But it actually means something more.

I made this track whilst traveling through the North of Thailand. It contains the chant of a Buddhist Monk and a Brasswood long string combined with a laid back beat loop.
Dakini is a Buddhist term for a symbolic naked female figure, representing absolute freedom.

I started this song with a synth that looked a lot like the synth that is in the opening tune of Netflix's - Stranger Things. Other than that it sounds nothing like it :-)
