The Alive Art podcast: Recent Episodes

Ingrid Pamanes

Alive Art is a space to explore how we can create art just by being alive. Getting rid of the story that only certain people can be considered artists and instead, owning the fact that we all came to this world to create and be seen. Ingrid is here to share her own artistic journey with the intention of being an inspiration for others to share their talents.

Hello everyone and welcome to my mind!
If you've been here before, you may be aware that a practice that I do very often when feeling overwhelmed, is that I record myself on my phone and start talking to the camera.
I talk to myself as if I am a friend, and this usually helps me process in real-time what I'm feeling and it helps me feel less alone.
Therefore, this episode is not a normal episode but a recording I did for myself.
I hope this is a permission slip for anyone who hasn't really accepted vulnerability as a friend, and I hope listening to my live process of reflecting on my feelings helps untangle your own process, too.

In the summer of 2020, Olivia Duprez and I founded Creative Momentum, a community where we facilitated workshops for an international community, which thanks to our same drive and vision, turned our friendship and connection into an epic collaboration.
I had the chance to talk to her and reflect on how important building a community around us is and she shared her own vision around building her own business and following her dreams.
She moved to the other side of the US last year which was also a big shift for her and she got to share in this episode the ways she is now building community offline and how that is supporting her.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to an honest and real conversation between artist Sabrina Dorow and myself. We talked about her artistic journey, the art community in Latin America, fear of success, and much more.
Besides being an artist herself, Sabrina is passionate about supporting others and especially women to feel safe, seen, and like they have a community that they can rely on. Her traveling experiences have gotten her in touch with very different realities and with many types of art & following her social media is honestly like being in a virtual modern art museum.
